I am handicapped and I have been trying to call the store just to ask if they have procedures for shopping such as counting people in and out of the store or food limits. I keep getting someone picking up the phone (because I can hear people in the background) and hanging up. The last time I sat through cue message 5 time and again pick up hang up. This store was once my all time favorite store, but for months now it's gone down hill badly I mean the customer service sucks bad, the store is always a mess the lines are super long. I come to this location once in a while. Even on a busy day there's tons of parking to select from due to the design of the Plaza itself. Every time we come here it's always tidy and clean. Not once have I came to this location and it was not clean and tidy. Tons of selections to choose from in every single aisle, from fresh produce to diary section, and from canned goods to frozen goods/alcoholic beverages aisle. When it comes to cashiers, they make sure to not have their customers waiting for a while. I am not 100% sure if this a policy of theirs, but I've noticed that when there's 3+ customers waiting in line, they communicate with their co-workers to open another register to ensure that their customers aren't waiting for long periods. The satisfaction doesn't just stop there, they are interactive with their customers are greet them in a friendly manner. Definitely come try this location out, cause I have not had one bad visit to this location and I hope they keep up their trend and standards. read more

This place just opened up and the service was great everybody was super "extra" helpful. Some of the limited time sales were great, and the only thing is their selection isn't perfect, for example all i wanted was a natural dairy coffee creamer... they have creamer but nothing natural. Otherwise a great place to find a deal or two. Its a nice touch in the decor that the check out aisles have the names of the streets on them. The employees are professional and very pleasant. They offer help you out to your car when your cart is overloaded. The store is very clean, well organized, the prices are fair and weekly sales are great! The parking lot is the only thing I dislike, its on a slope which cause my shopping cart to roll away while loading groceries into my car. In time I learned to use the heaviest item (case of water or detergeant) as a weight to keep the cart from rolling as I load the groceries. I'm very disappointed with smart and final, I received a gift card from my daughter. I went to smart and final to purchase some grocery, the card was 100.00 the balance should have been $51.23 I spend only $48.77 they ended up saying the card had only $36.23. Which that was the first time I ever used the gift card. I did notice the clerk swipe the card several time. I don't want to say she stole the different 's of the gift card. Manny the manager indicated he was going investigate , the out come was the same he switch the balance to a new gift card he kept the old, so in reality who know what happen in that transaction. All I know I was out $15.00 dollars. I feel they have dishonest employees , I will recommend not to buy a gift card and not to go to smart and final. read more

Let me start off by saying I am extremely disappointed in the service that family members and myself recieved at this store by the "Supervisor" Jared. We went in to purchase drinks for an event we where having and stood in line like everybody else. We had 3 separate transactions as it was 3 of us in the store and obviously we are individuals paying separately for our purchases(totaling $81.30) . As it was our turn in line he starts off by saying "The next time you guys are going to purchase stuff like this(soft drinks) I need you guys to go to the end of the line and not hold up the line." Not only did he fail to greet us as customers should be greeted, he also then took it upon himself to be disrespectful to us by talking to us as if we where doing something wrong by standing in line like everyone else to purchase our items. I did tell him "We have separate transactions because we are 3 different people, what was the problem??" He then rolled his eyes and said " Okay yeah, whatever" I cannot stress enough having worked in retail myself this was by far the worst display of customer service I have ever experienced. To stand there and be rude, condescending and argue with a customer are 3 thing that should not happen in retail. What bothered me the most was the "Whatever" I got in response I think he needs to be put through some more extensive customer service training to learn how to do his job better. This was not the first time I've seen him in the store dealing with customers and the times I had seen him he never seemed to be pleasant person to deal with and that was confirmed today with my own personal experience. I will end of by saying that I literally live a couple blocks away from the store BUT I will not be doing any further shopping here ever again and neither will any of my family members.
