Now when I go here every worker looks miserable and look like they're just waiting for their day to be over. All the items I used to shop for have moved, I can't find the things I need due to these resets and pointless moves. I'm pretty sure the last time I was here a week ago I saw a big rat. I used to like shopping here a few months ago but every time I come here it's a disaster. Would advise anyone to go to the Monrovia location when you will be treated much better. Whatever changed here within the past couple months needs to be studied as the biggest downfall of all time.

I decided to use the Ralph's grocery delivery app and found it easy to maneuver through....gives clear prices and what you paid for each item....much more variety of products.... delivery went fine.... Thank you Vons for your app error....you actually helped me save a lot of money by using Ralphs... I put all the items I bought and compared it to Vons....exactly same items... I figured it out and Ralph's was much cheaper.....a difference of 15.00....suprising (shocking)?.....in these times of need it is very insulting to consumers.... If you want to save money shop at Ralph's for a wide selection and variey of products....try it !

It's a Walmart, so don't expect red carpet experience if you are seeking lower than Target prices…read more I personally prefer Target and I'm at one at least once a week, while I'm at a Walmart once every 6 months. This location is right off the 210 freeway. There's a McDonald's in here and I love how I can grab a side of fries after a shopping trip. Shoplifting probably is a huge issue here because they pretty much lock up most of their cosmetics including nail polish in a locked case, which makes it really inconvenient to be able to get what I need if I'm in a rush. Walmart is good place to shop for Holiday decorations and every day essentials, but I am not sure about purchasing groceries here because the frozen aisles always seem unorganized. Then I was told my refund couldn't be processed automatically because the order was already "in the system," so I had to wait around for a manual refund on top of everything else. If online ordering doesn't actually save time or work reliably, there's no point offering it. Won't be ordering ahead here again.

Does anybody else feel like customer service here has really gone down?…read more I've always had tremendous experiences with Trader Joe's in the past, as they're known for their customer service, but lately it's just been going downhill. Especially when it comes to returns or asking team members about checking stock on items/help finding items. Then there's the issue of nothing ever being in stock. I'm not talking about discontinued items either, I'm talking about basic, staple items: milk, pasta noodles, frozen items. I went in with a list of 10 items only for 3 items to be out of stock, on a weekday. That's pretty bad. Does Trader Joe's really expect people to be able to come ink the same store multiple times in one week just to buy basics? This is starting to become a place that's not worthwhile to visit, as it's not very functional.

Review #904 2025-#078…read more I discovered Good Fortune Supermarket because it shares parking with Yi Mei (refer to Review #903). I had some time to kill before having brunch with my brother, so my son & I browsed the supermarket to see if there's any goods that are interesting or a good deal. The market is well-stocked & organized, but the floors are dingy & screams for a deep clean. Yikes! Though the items on the shelves look like there's been turnaround since they're not dusty. Whew! =) Its offerings are similar to the local Asian markets, with a little less variety at slightly higher prices. The fresh fruits were absurdly pricey IMO, but there were a few "sales" though they're still higher than regular pricing elsewhere. Since we're over an hour from home, I only picked up some snacks like roasted peanuts (I love the Farmer Brand!), fermented hawthorn, & some biscuits. The cashiers were friendly... asked if I found everything I needed, & also greeted my son & asked if hawthorn is his favorite treat. While I didn't have any 好運氣 (good fortune) in finding any deals, I get some yummy treats for my 6 YO to nosh on while waiting for my brother. I prefer the Main St. location in Alhambra, but they've been temporarily closed since 09/2024; I usually shop there when I'm in the area because of the eateries nearby. I don't think I'll be making any return trips unless I'm dining next door.

But I found myself with an hour to kill in the Monrovia shopping center that I still inexorably associate with K-MART, and I wandered inside. No quarters on my person, so I did not get a cart. Prices are definitely lower than big-name grocery chains, but I didn't feel like anyone lost money on me. Nice young lady at the register, fast check out. I imagine--like Gross Out-- you can come here weekly if your shopping list is simple, or if you are willing to mix things up with substitutes for what you were looking for in the first place. Parking can get a bit hectic but it's not the worse location that's out there. Decent stock on produce, snacks, frozen section and Aldi Finds during my visit. Once you pay, they are already checking out the next person so push your cart out of the way or grab your items quickly! It's lively market ambiance-wise and not a bad ALDI to stop by if you're in the area.

The fact that the owner thinks that I am someone else indicates to me that I am not the only unsatisfied customer they've had and they know it. As far as the truth of my first review, I can happily provide pictures of the manure around the grounds, as I filed a complaint with the city and with animal control and still have the paperwork (including the photos) from that. In addition, I am pretty sure that I can dig up the credit card statements that indicate I purchased hay during the time I was boarded at Irish Rose, although that is a bit extreme I think. Nonetheless, if anyone require any of this, please feel free to contact me and I will happily send what I have their way. The owner's response indicated that turn out was $6. That part is true, when you ask to have your horse turned out in the arena for 30 minutes. If you want your horse turned out in the large green pasture, it is $50 extra and I *DO* have the paperwork to prove that. As far as the owner's claims that they have never had a complaint, that is completely untrue. I made my feelings very clear, and in written form, when I left. I also have complained about the facility to appropriate organizations. In fact, I believe that Animal Control received a complaint about the improper care of an older horse and came out to the facility to put the animal down. I was not the one who complained about it or filed a report, however I cannot say that I am surprised in the slightest. The point of my review is not to be mean, I just want to make sure that no one else has to ever experience what I did. It is a horrible facility and I am pretty sure they're survived this long simply because of the business from Santa Anita. By the way, my horse's name is Scarlett, not Arnie.

We brought five mayonnaise jugs from this grocery for $11.99 for each last night. When we got home, we found out one of the jugs were damaged in quality and the substance was leaking from the outside because the jug had ripped. Even worse, the texture of the product looked different from the original and the color looked as if it had decayed or something due to the fact it could have been dropped to the ground a bunch a times. Tonight, we went back to exchange the spoiled product to the store, however, the staff responded in a rude manner and said that we weren't allowed to exchange anymore. What's important is that the mayonnaise they sell is extremely poor in quality and for consumption. This explains that this store dubiously sells damaged and decaying food to their consumers, but this shouldn't be allowed since it is not safe for other regular customers or their health. I don't recommend shopping at Smart and Final in Duarte! read more

The produce is not fresh. One time I found bugs in my celery. Other times there are flies buzzing around the onion section. Another time I went to get vine ripened tomatoes...boy, were they ever ripe! They were soft and wrinkly, and one was even rotting with mold! Avoid the produce section. The wait in lines are as they say. Plan on at least a 5 minute wait. Even though Smart and Final is my neighborhood store, I went to Ralphs in Arcadia yesterday to get my produce. The positives are that you can get needed household items at a fair price. read more

Love the location and the huge parking lot. The staff are very friendly, but they sometimes do have weird people loitering in the front or inside the store. They get extremely busy during the weekend and around the holidays but usually, they check out process is usually a smooth one. Do check the expiration dates on some of their products, especially for their Tofu or Deli meat. I've seen some items that were waaaaay over their expiration dates still on display.
