Heard mixed reviews so decided to try. Not my favorite at all. I've had better cupcakes from the grocery store. The "icing" on the one with the waffle pieces in it was like rubber. I liked their pep and their Italian Cream and Wedding Cake flavors are spot on. I feel really bad writing this review because the staff was so sweet but I really didn't enjoy my cupcakes whatsoever. I got a red velvet and wedding cake two of my favorite flavors and was incredibly disappointed with both. The texture of both cakes were good but that was the only pleasantry. The red velvet had too much cocoa in it, and tasted somewhat of uncooked flour. The wedding cake had no almond flavor it tasted like a grocery store vanilla and honestly I think Walmart's vanilla is better. Both of the frostings tasted artificial like they're from the jar. The customer service was great. Very warm and inviting. I was greeted immediately. It was my first time there. The associate asked if I'd like a menu that had all the cupcake flavors then offered me ice cream to sample. I like the ice cream much better. The cupcakes were very pretty but the icing tasted artificial. I can't quite describe it but I don't like it at all and won't be visiting again. My first visit here and my daughter and i enjoyed it. We got 2 pink vanilla, the vanilla n chocolate and the caramel crunch. We tried a scoop of the butter pecan and we was fresh. The cupcakes were moist and the buttercream wasn't too sweet. I was expecting the buttercream to be thick and heavy but it was light and airy. Their cupcakes are larger than someone else's in town. Also, Smallcakes chocolate cupcakes actually have flavor and they aren't dry which I appreciate. Customer service was great and I love the packaging. They'll let you sample the ice cream, too! Got some birthday cupcakes yesterday. Tried the peanut butter cup and the bananas foster (Saturday special). My husband claims they were the best cupcakes he's tried here. The frosting and the cake were great. The customer service could've been a bit better. There are no clear signs of how they're operating with COVID restrictions. Since they were open, I went to open the door and it was locked. It took five mins and an employee working at the nail place nearby for one of their staff to finally come outside and tell me how the curbside ordering works. It was 30 minutes until close and the two ladies working had already turned the cupcakes away from the window and seemed to wrap up for the night.
