Garden Path. Note the small red round fountain. Love it!

Our backyard was a jungle: overgrown weeds, large rotting planter boxes, complete lack of privacy, fruit trees threatening to take over and more... We were are so happy with the beautiful work that Elisa and her team did transforming our weed-filled jungle into a wonderful cozy urban oasis! Not only did they create a serene and comfortable space; they tackled our privacy issue with creative solutions (large open trellises), added many interesting plants, a small water feature and a much needed irrigation system. Her solutions were creative and unusual and she was able to stay on budget re-using many of our existing materials in the landscape. Elisa is more than just a gardener, she is a true artist!

This is day one....the plants have since grown much lusher, with tons of blooms protected from the wind by the tall grasses

She was booked up, but incredibly helpful in recommending other qualified gardeners in the city - thank you, Elisa!

I work for an elementary school, and the team was very flexible with the school's hours and difficult access. Ambar in the front office always emailed back quickly and with kindness and enthusiasm! Daniel came for a preliminary site visit and was very clear about the project possibilities and limitations. When Carlos and the team came for the actual project, they went above and beyond to deliver the project outcomes. They removed a huge amount of green waste, removed rootballs, and provided quality tree trimming. They worked alongside our school volunteers for the second day of the project, and the volunteers loved chatting with the team! I couldn't recommend Go Green enough, we will definitely call them again for our next project!

Carlos and his crew were here on time, explained the work they would be doing and did an outstanding job. When they were done, they went above and beyond with the cleanup and even cleaned up the rest of my yard that had nothing to do with the tree trimmings! What a bonus!!! And their rates were $800.00 less than another estimate I got. Couldn't believe how much money I saved. Dependable, professional, cost-saving and friendly. I couldn't be happier with the service and will use them again when I need to. Highly recommended!!!!

Tsering took our small, weirdly shaped, overgrown backyard and transformed it into a functional piece of art--all in only four weeks! We are so happy that our son will be able to enjoy it for years to come. Tsering is not just a contractor, but an artist and a craftsman. He does everything from start to finish. He provides a glimmer of his vision early on, in a simple one-page design. Once he starts working, he refines that vision and brings it to life with his amazing team. At the end of each day, we were shocked at how much they got done and at the quality of the craftsmanship. Tsering takes incredible pride in his work. After designing and building a beautiful fence for us, he geeked out over some of special hardware he installed to make it extra secure (and we otherwise would not have noticed). Moments like that came up during each phase of the project. Tsering also used the best materials, even when left to his discretion. He purchased more Ipe wood, poured more concrete, and even bought a bigger maple tree than in the estimate. (He did not charge us extra.) During the course of our project, Tsering also found many ways to improve our backyard (and home) that went beyond the scope of the project. He re-stucco'd an old balcony, re-did the weatherproofing of an old door, sawed through several busted lockboxes, and added an extra little Ipe wall. Because he was ahead of schedule on the project, he didn't charge us for any of it (not even materials). We've attached a few before and after photos, but they honestly barely do justice to his work. Tsering is one of a kind. If you want a backyard that looks like his portfolio, you should hire him. We are hoping that one day we'll be able to get on his calendar for our front yard as well.

From our first meeting, Tsering had a creative vision for the space, more nuanced than other contractors we met. We appreciate craftsmen like Tsering who bring a strong POV on the right way to do things, more than just building to a spec, and steer you away from bad decisions. Tsering personally supervised our project, and was onsite every day, often for significant periods of time. This is a very collaborative, hands-on, personalized approach from a small team, not a huge operation with many crews in the field. You feel like he treats your project like his own, with a high quality of work and attention to detail. It is a very cohesive design, site plan, materials, plants all working together beautifully. Tsering is great to work with - we appreciate his easy-going nature, patience, and sense of humor. Cannot recommend more highly.

I first met Humberto when I opened a Yelp project ticket in January. He was not only quick to respond, (he came over within an hour, on a Sunday), he also was transparent in his pricing and had great suggestions. I could tell he knew a lot about gardening. Humberto and Alejandro came in January for the first visit, and as was right for the season, they pruned all of the bushes, weeded the mulch and stone areas, and mowed the lawn. I liked them so much that first visit we made a plan for the next visit in the spring, which happened today! Humberto brought just the stone I wanted (he knew it by name when he saw it the first time), to refresh the old stone and also brought the mulch that we had talked about- both in the perfect quantity. Today they also mowed and fertilized the grass (the right time of year for that now), cleaned up all of my pots, put new plants in huge heavy ceramic pots, replanted some outlier succulents from the stone area, and did a thoughtful cleanup all around. He advised me about "sunny plants" and "shady plants" too, which was very useful. The yard is beaming with Springtime! Humberto is busy for a good reason, so plan for that, but a shiny well thought out garden is a joy.

The team radically transformed our backyard to a wonderful space. They were incredibly professional and clearly have a plan and know what they're doing. They also took great steps to keep our house clean during the project ( they had to trek through our downstairs playroom to access the backyard, hauling debris, plants, and dirt through and avoiding making a mess). We couldn't recommend them more. Thank you!

We gave him a general idea of what we were looking for. He came back with a rough sketch of what we were looking for, and an estimate within our budget that included hardscaping *and* landscaping, along with irrigation and a contingency budget. (Lots of contractors we spoke to did landscaping or hardscaping, but not both; and none came with design ideas.) As demolition was ending, Monica came back with more specific designs, including for our deck and specific pollinator-friendly and low-water plants. The design discussion was collaborative and she took into account that the yard would be used by dogs and kids (thus plants needed to withstand less-than-mindful foot traffic). The crew were always on time and left the site (and our garage) cleaner than they found it. Thank you to Rob, Monica, Ryan, Mick, Oscar, and Keith for a fabulous job! As you'll see from before pics, the concrete deck was uneven, small, and the yard was a weedy sand pit. Now it's an amazing entertainment space where the kids can play safely, bees and hummingbirds can catch a meal, and then rest of us can hang out and enjoy!
