The teachers are caring, communication is excellent, and the facility is newer, always clean, and beautifully decorated for holidays. My kids attended this daycare for about 8 months, I picked up my 2 yr old with 4 bite marks in total and my 10 month old with a bite mark as well. They told me "biting is common" and they would do anything they can to stop the issue. Anyway, I picked up my daughter up 3 times in 1 month with bite marks. They said they called the child's parents to pick him up but they removed my child from her classroom 5 instead of the child with behavior issues. A lot of children in this daycare are dcs cases so a lot of them have behavioral issues, they told me they mix special needs children with the regular classes and the children cannot tell. They said they don't offer special teachers to be assigned to certain children. No concern for my children's safety was shown here, so I was forced to remove them before my transfer was done. Now I'm out of a job and don't have childcare either. This biting issue could've been very simply fixed but was not. read more

Small People Preschool has been our favorite facility so far. The Staff work well together and enjoy their profession which shows. Small People Preschool hosts several different events throughout the year- not only does it show their passion but it also brings the staff and family closer together. Small People Preschool have an app to provide updates and photos of my little one. I really enjoy the weekly updates on my child's activities and meals. The Staff do a great job keeping parents well informed about things and especially community related issues ( good or bad : there's transparency) . Most importantly, my child has a great relationship with each teacher and when she has encountered issues- as a village everyone is able to discuss what opportunity she has to grow and or what can be done to resolve her issues. I cant imagine this will be short but thanks for reading! I am an only parent to a little boy who has never been in a daycare facility due to me working from home for the last 6 years. When I received a promotion, it required more in person time. I DREADED the idea of putting my son in a place with all strangers. Small People came recommended by a friend whose child goes to the same elementary school. The first time stepping place in here, the owner was behind the counter and overheard my fears and hesitation. I expressed my feelings and she didnt coddle me or pretend my fears were rational (hahaha) Instead, she leveled with me and asked what would help me feel better. I said a coded locked door and ongoing communication with access to my son at all times. She promised and we enrolled. Just two days later, the daycare had a security system put in and a code was given to all families!!!!!! How can you ask for better? We pay for the time we are here and nothing more which helps a lot! There are scholarships available and they do not shy away from helping their families. I am beyond thankful and cant imagine a more responsive, supportive, and kind facility any where else. THANK YOU SPP!!! read more

My son, Donnie, is 2 years old and has been going to Small People 2 since he was 3 months old. However, for the past year, I've been freelancing, so Donnie has been home with me and out of daycare for awhile, but now he's back at SP2 full-time and he couldn't be happier! --- My son absolutely LOVES it there!--- he literally does not want to leave--- he would stay and play there all night if he could! lol But this post is about a wonderful caregiver named Giselle--- she was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING today!!! When I came to pick up my son today, his green hat was missing--- now, this was not your ordinary green hat--- it was a one-of-a-kind green hat and Donnie's most favorite hat, so when the closing teacher said it was gone, I was very upset. I mentioned to Giselle, who was up at the front desk, about Donnie's green hat that went missing--- she WAS ON IT! She searched the toddler classroom; she searched outside and then she went the EXTRA MILE and took the time to scroll thru the video footage from earlier in the day to track down what happened to Donnie's hat! She was the ULTIMATE detective today! And guess what??! --- After looking at the video footage, Giselle found Donnie's hat! She said, "I know EXACTLY where his hat is! I'll be right back!" One of Donnie's teachers accidentally put Donnie's hat in another child's cubby. Giselle came back with Donnie's favorite green hat!!! YAY!!! Giselle made my day today! Giselle solved the problem right then and there and didn't dismiss my concern. NOPE!--- she took matters into her own hands and got the job DONE! LOVE it!--- now THAT'S EXCELLENT customer service! Although I do not use this center on a regular basis, I did use it for a holiday week earlier in the year. They are just as wonderful as my normal center in Cave Creek. This place is warm and welcoming. I am so glad that this owner bought my center, it's in much better shape with a new owner. read more

The best daycare ever!! All 4 of my children have gone to this daycare. For the last 14 years this daycare has been a second home to my children. They are not just a daycare they are family, they treat my children as their own. I love it, because they are smaller which means more attention to the children. Very confused director doesn't answer your question prefers to change the subject. alot of issues with app they got rid of hi mamma app so can't see my child daily activities they also had my child checked in there twice when she was with me there excuse it was just a mistake well my child is more the just a mistake( there words not mine )if I had a choice my daughter would be pulled out in a heartbeat do they not understand children are more important (to some people) then just a excuse ? THINK TWICE ABOUT THIS DAYCARE ? it's your child not there's they work for you ! My two and a half year old son goes to the school at this phenomenal place I highly recommend this to any parents in the valley they really care about the children as if they are their own very clean and very organized the owner of the school is phenomenal she does a lot of things for the school out of pocket my son became more sociable and he started to speak and all the children they are very friendly with each other they serve very nutritious lunches anytime a child is sick instead of having to call the parents ASAP they make sure that the child truly needs to be picked up unlike other schools where if child is sick d they wanted to pick up the child instantly if your child doesn't have a fever they try to work with the children because they know the inconvenience of picking up the child prematurely read more
