This place is located about halfway down Fruitvale and while it isn't much to look at from the outside, the guys and gals working here do a really nice job! Around the area, they're primarily known for fixing lawnmowers, but I found out recently they were able to fix my snowblower! Call they are often very busy, but in the middle of winter, things slow down a little. While it's not always this way, we dropped off a couple of items, and they were done within 48 hours. Very helpful with the next big snowstorm coming! They have plenty of power tools, lawnmowers, snowblowers and generators for sale here. If you ever needed to make sure your house ran only on gasoline, this would definitely be a place check out! I'm always amazed at the prices for getting things like a lawnmower checked out. I don't know how much it should cost, but it always seems a little bit on the expensive side. Here, they charge $89 an hour for general small engine work. Realistically, that's not bad as I think a plumber charges 120 per hour! They have a $44.50 minimum diagnostic charge that is credited towards the overall cost if you decide that you want to proceed. This was helpful for the non-running lawnmower I had. It ended up they just needed to change a couple parts, but it could've been very expensive and I didn't want them to just have free reign over the bank. When all is said and done, this was a very positive experience and this is the place that we will be going back to for our small engine needs!

When work takes over a month or so to get a repair a business cant make money. If you cant get machines in and out in a reasonable amount of time you are not making money. I think their mechanical work is very good and the mechanic I spoke to really cares about what he is doing. I think they have great potential but for walking in the first time it was a bit on the interesting side to say the least.

I called and had a hard time getting the saleswoman to say whether or not they carried certain kinds, despite the fact that their website said they did. Finally she directed me to the man in charge, and he told me they had the pullets I wanted. Only after asking exactly how old they were did I find out they were a little over two weeks old, but "very hardy". Of course they weren't hardy enough to put outside in the coop yet, but he was willing to call them pullets and say they were really hardy, just not hardy enough to be outside or without a heat lamp! That's not hardy, by the way. The second time I tried to buy something from them was when I wanted to make a fence using hardware cloth to protect my garden from gophers. They were unable to sell me the size and length I needed, and didn't offer to order it for me. I said I would look on Amazon and they said OK and hung up. Why don't farm stores sell things farmers need in Yakima? Why is Amazon the only place you can find things like basic fencing or decent chicken feed? Why don't any stores like this sell actual pullets instead of just chicks? Did you know not everyone that has a chicken coop outside has a place to raise chicks inside?

They have a broad coffee selection along with mugs and other coffee related pleasantries on the coffee side, while on the plant side they have plenty of different plant related trinkets which include lots of vases, tools and other fun stuff to make your home nice and welcoming. The prices seemed to be fair, though in all fairness I am not a plant expert. It's legitimately fun to see specialty stores like this popping up in the area and based on the traffic from the first couple of weeks, it feels like this place is going to do just fine. I originally went in because they specialize in refurbished Japanese tractors, and the selection was honestly impressive.
