Went and picked out the last of appliances. The dishwasher was LG model # LDP68-10SS-C. Don't buy this. I had it for 2 weeks and the ball bearings on the rails on the cup rack started falling out and bouncing on the floor. Guy came out from Bemis and was going to order new rails, don't know if they were ordered wrong or LG sent the wrong ones. they were reordered and the rails were replaced. The rack on the dishwasher now tilts back and slides back into the dishwasher. It won't stay pulled out, very irritating. Plus, when it was delivered, the delivery guys dented the bottom of the new refrigerator along with scratching the wall and nothing was said. read more

Our 5 year old dishwasher displayed no lights----it acted totally dead. After verifying that AC power was available at the dishwasher, I contacted Bemis service. A technician (Josh) came to our home and quickly diagnosed the problem. A new secondary circuit board was ordered and installed on December 5th. Everything is back to normal! This repair was a very positive experience for my wife and I. The phone call to Bemis Service was answered by a helpful and pleasant person. The technician was knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. The pricing was fair and reasonable. We will definitely use Bemis again if we have an appliance problem. read more

Larry did me dirty on a deal not updating my accounts contact information after promising he would. Fridge got here and did not fit, mostly my fault how could I count on Larry to know. Anyways ordered a different fridge and the guys that installed it broke the molding off the corner of my drywall next to the fridge and said nothing about it. Asked me to sign the paper work. Looked over the fridge first and noticed a broken shelf. Shelf was ordered and they came and installed it all crooked. Then noticed fridge door was warped. They said they would order a new door and haven't heard from them for over a month now about it. I would call them to check in on it but not sure I want them in my house anymore anyways. read more

I needed a few new appliances and the contractor, said "use Bemis." He didn't really give me any other options, so figured we would use them to make it easier for the contractor, but wasn't sure what to expect. We went in several months early since it was 2020 and COVID was delaying appliance delivery. Scott was so easy to work with. We got everything we wanted ordered within an hour. Needed to order a different hood at the last minute due to size constraints, and again super easy process to get what we needed. They also made sure we had all the information to submit our rebates (which we received). But what impressed me most of all was when a small piece was missing, that we needed to attach a non-visible back vent, the whole team went above and beyond to get me the piece. It did not have a part number, but they continued to work with the manufacturer to resolve the issue. They ended up getting a whole new unit, pulled the piece and sent the rest back to the manufacturer. I never had to call them for an update. They called ME to let me know where they were, even when they had no new news; just to let me know I wasn't forgotten. Amazing service!! Will never use any one else for appliances. read more

We bought a GE refrigerator from Bemis Appliance on August 29, 2022. We were told it would arrive about Sept. 22. I called 10 days ago and was told it would be delivered Oct. 20. Today I was told it would be delivered after Oct. 27th. I'm very disappointed in the poor service from Bemis Appliance in Yakima, WA. I absolutely loved them when I bought my appliances. I bought 4 appliances. Well I am into just over a year after buying them and guess what, my brand new washer quit working. Now I had called a couple times worried about it and was told to unplug it and plug it back in (no seriously that's what they said) because it would reset it. And it kind of worked but now it's completely not working but they managed to not have to do anything until after the warranty was no good. When I asked what it cost to have someone out they told me $190.00 just to come out!!!! So much for service after the sale. Guess I better keep looking for a decent place to buy appliances because clearly theirs aren't going to last. Very sad I had really high hopes for them. read more

Excellent Service! My husband and I wanted to surprise his mom with new appliances while she was away on a weekend trip. We had shopped locally at a few places in Seattle to get our feet wet for what was out there. Pretty overwhelming. Before our visit I had looked up appliance stores local to Selah and came across Bemis in Yakima. I thought, why not? It can't be any worse than a Sears or Lowes experience. We walked in to the minimally decorated, clean store and started to walk around - we began at the refrigerators. Immediately we were approaced by a salesman - Rick. I'm always leery of sales people...I know they're just doing their job, but I usually feel so invaded by their presense. Right away this guy made it apparent he knew his stuff and wasn't just blowing smoke up our butts to make a sale. So we spent maybe 45 minutes walking around discussing fridges, ovens, and dishwashers. We were sold. The only caveat was that we needed the items in-house already and delivered that day. Tall order, I know. But Rick was able to pull through. He personally delivered our appliances AND took away the old ones THAT AFTERNOON. Amazing. My MIL was absolutely stunned when she got home, thanks to Bemis's and Rick's help. Give this small local place your business. They're the best! read more

Bemis has been around as long as I can remember. I had never used them personally, but several family members had. I came in looking for a new range. I'd done my research and had it narrowed down to 3 possible option. Rick was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer my dorky technical questions. When narrowed down to a Samsung and a GE, they highly recommended the GE. After talking with several people there over a few days, it sounds like GE is their most recommended brand. For GE items, they are a factory direct supplier. This means that they don't stock the ranges, but they put in orders every Monday, receive them on Wednesday, and deliver them Wednesday/Thursday. For me, I put in an order on a Wednesday and received the deliver a week later. On delivery day, Bemis called and said they would give us a 15-20 minute notice that the delivery guys were en route. They hauled our broken range away and disposed of it. The delivery guys did smell like an ash tray walked into your house, but they did a good job. They're not overly talkative, but they're cordial and willing to answer any questions that you have - but I can respect some guys who are there to get their business done and move on! One of the big upsides to using Bemis is that they do their own repair. If you have a major issue, they've got knowledgeable staff that is available to fix your issue. If it's within the warranty period, they'll take care of everything for you. If not, you'll have to pay - but it looks like prices are in line with local competitors. Sale prices are a tad more than the big box home stores ($25 on a $775 range) and they charge a small delivery cost ($25-$50), but I'm willing to pay a tad more to support local business! Bought a fridge from bemis and had it delievered same day. Staff was nice but was upset that they delivered a fridge that didn't work, it wouldn't cool down at all and after 48 hours of the fridge being plugged in, was still at room temp. They were nice enough to bring me another one but now I have to replace all the food that went bad, over $200 worth of food. You would think that since you spend so much money there they could at least give you a gift card to replace your food. Nice to know how much a company doesn't care about customer service.
