Jeff's has done two unrelated repairs on my Exmark zero turn mower in the last two years. The repairs were done in a timely manner and pricing was fair. I know because I did the same repairs on the mower myself in the last 5 years but too busy to do it the last two years. Jeff's also picks up and drops off at a very fair price (I am pretty close). I plan to use Jeff's in the future if I need more repairs.

I brought my Honda HRX mower to them for a new carburetor in May of this year. They called me to…read moreask if I'd like a tuneup as well. Normally, I do that myself, but since it was there, I said go ahead and do it. Two weeks later they called and said the mower was ready. The problem was that, I wasn't ready. Not ready to be charged 250.00 for a carb and a tuneup. According to the notice on their counter, a tuneup consists of such things as a sparkplug, oil, and air filter change. Along with that, there is a blade sharpening, as well as scraping the dead grass from the deck's underside. Upon my inspection, I noticed the deck was untouched and the blade was not sharpened. The filter was changed, but nothing else was performed that would justify the high cost for the service. When I asked to speak to the manager for a price adjustment, I was told by the young woman attendant that the manager wasn't there. I asked her when the manager would be there, she replied that he didn't work at that facility. They apparently have another location. I said in reply that I won't pay the bill until the manager calls me in order to see if something can be taken off of what should be a 150.00 dollar job. Two weeks later, I haven't been contacted, and don't expect to. I've since written off the mower and obtained a replacement. Anyone considering this business for small engine repair should consider going elsewhere.

Ken saved me from a potentially horrific accident by finding and repairing what I believed to be a relatively minor issue on my electric start gas powered snowblower! He went WAY out of his way to pickup my snowblower as I have MS and could not bring it to him (I can't drive anymore). He had it back to me within 8 days and fired it up in front of me to demonstrate that it is fully functional (and safe) now! Ken will get any/all future small engine repairs I may need in the future! He reviewed his repair process and what he estimated the cost would be and told me it would be ready the next day after agreeing for me to bring it in on Sunday. He finished it on Sunday giving me the option to come get it on Sunday or Monday. When I picked it up, Art walked through everything he did to the lawn mower including changing the oil (low and extremely dirty), cleaned the lawn mower itself, changed the air filter which he showed me was in very bad shape, fixed the auto mow function, put in clean gas, and a few other things. He made me start the mower and observe what he did before asking if I was satisfied and if anything went wrong to give him a call. Art is an old school, hard to find, skilled, craftsman and if you ever need your mower repaired, he should be your first call.
