Dr. Lauren Fried was friendly and kind right off the back. She was also extremely knowledgeable and well trained & experienced in the unique issues I was having. We came up with a plan to handle the situations and I felt really good about. I did appreciate her expertise and wisdom. The practice in general felt like home walking in the door from the first visit. I am huge on excellence when it comes to customer service as a customer service master myself. I want to also highlight these little sweethearts for their role in making my first visit meaningful, Maisie Bunn, Bloom &KC Caldwell . Attitude reflects leadership. You must have phenomenal leaders ladies.

I have NEVER heard of getting a referral for a gynecologist, and my primary doctor hasn't either. My primary doctor said I would be hard pressed to find a primary doctor to refer me because it's not necessary for a gynecologist. Medicare AND United Healthcare also state that a referral is not needed. Needless to say, I will be looking for another gynecologist who doesn't come up with idiot rules and who don't treat their patients like uninformed idiots. Honestly, I feel like they do not want to accept patients with Medicare, and I will be reporting them.

My daughter got prior approval from her insurance (Blue Cross/Blue Shield Federal) to get gel…read moreinjections in her knees instead of going though extensive surgery at the age of 40. The shots were a series of three, one a week for 3 weeks. After getting 2 of the 3, we get a call from Middle Georgia Ortho, 2 working days before the 3rd injection, telling us that they (Middle Georgia Ortho) was no longer accepting her insurance for the gel injections and we would need to pay out of pocket if she still wanted to complete the series. When we got to the office, I complained about the change in procedure and was told that whoever called us was incorrect. It was not Middle Georgia Ortho that was not accepting Blue Cross/Blue Shield's payments for the gel, it was that Blue Cross/Blue Shield that was no longer paying. Considering that we were already there and were concerned about disrupting her treatment, we paid the $500 out of pocket. We called Blue Cross when we got home and were told that it was not true; Blue Cross was still paying and would NOT have changed the policy in the middle of treatment! The Blue Cross rep put us on hold and contacted Middle Georgia Ortho. After twenty minutes and the Blue Cross Rep being shuffled to 3 different people, told us that basically since we signed a paper saying we were self-pay, they (Middle Georgia Ortho was not required to file insurance and would not file! After the Blue Cross Rep went to up channel our complaint, she found out that Middle Georgia Ortho was under investigation by them. She sent us a claim form to try to reimburse us. Having written this review, I do want to say that our PA who administered her get injections was very professional and couldn't have been kinder. Just watch out for the insurance/payment issues at this office.

The front desk staff were courteous and efficient, and the nurses were attentive and compassionate throughout my visit. I came in with a very painful tennis elbow injury, and Dr. William B. Wiley was nothing short of extraordinary. He took the time to truly listen to my concerns, explored non-surgical treatment options, and made me feel heard and cared for--something I never experienced at Ortho Georgia. His approach is thoughtful, patient-centered, and deeply compassionate. My husband also had knee surgery with Dr. Wiley, and the care he received was top notch. Dr. Wiley even prayed over him before surgery and personally called to check in afterward. That level of care and humanity is incredibly rare these days, and it meant the world to us. Switching to Middle Georgia Orthopedics was the best decision we've made for our health. Thank you to the entire team for setting the gold standard in orthopedic care!

I called to verify was the information correct as I feel that as long as regular monthly payments are made that should be sufficient. As a healthcare professional of 20 years, it saddens me and I been realized a long time ago why people choose not to see doctors. This is added stress to their situation to worry about paying bills sometimes especially within a specific time frame. Healthcare went down years ago. You have found your surgeon, staff and hospital! Now for details. I was given Dr. Bagnato's name from a friend. A referral was made through my PCP and consult visit was set up. With my insurance, I had prerequisites that had to be fulfilled prior to surgery. The staff made sure I understood what they were, gave me handout information and made referrals to in-network physicians. After six long months, I was able to make the call to schedule surgery and schedule pre-op. The staff has been so unbelievably polite and friendly. Not once have I had the vibe of "I hate my job." They have always been smiling, caring, approachable and accommodating and this has not gone unnoticed. Pre-operative education class were beneficial. Office is comfortable, open and clean. The office alone has a five star rating. Lastly, Dr. Bagnato's bedside manner is wonderful. He is a busy doctor but once he is in an exam room, he is focused on individual patient needs. If you get nervous in doctor's offices, make a list of questions. He is very open to questions and doesn't make you feel rushed. I cannot speak highly enough about my experiences in the past year.
