It's "so SM" to have its own central ticketing system. Well, anti-neoliberalist sarcasm aside, it actually does make sense that they eventually moved to have one given the construction of the Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena. Aside from this arena, SM Tickets also serves as the system for other SM event venues like the Skydome in North Edsa. The system is relatively convenient since most SM Cinema booths serve as a ticketing office too, so there's no need to go all the way to the MOA Arena just to purchase tickets. There also is an online purchase feature that makes you select the actual seats of choice for the respective event that you'll be attending. The system can still be improved in different ways, like making more modes of payment available such as via American Express credit cards or Paypal.
