A very welcome change is the complex built by Robinson's Land collectively called Summit Ridge. Aside from the hotel, it's a very convenient stop as the shopping or mall area has several restaurants like Gilligan's, Razon's, Shakey's, Hap Chan, Starbucks, etcetera. There are also specialty stores at the second level for other needs. What I like most about Summit Ridge is that there's a supermarket (Robinson's, ofcourse) where we can get last minute or emergency stuff we fail to bring to an out of town trip. There's also several stalls (tiangge) in the open area selling an assortment of items from clothes, shoes, souvenir items and even delicacies. For those who do not necessarily intend to purchase anything and just need a toilet break, you'll be glad to know that theirs is quite spacious and kept relatively clean most of the time.

Unlike Greenhills, the vendors here don't constantly hound or pressure you while shopping, which made the experience much more enjoyable. The prices are already relatively cheap, so there's not much need to bargain aggressively. I didn't even make it to the top floors because there was just so much to see. This is an indoor mall with three levels and over 300 stalls/stores. It is air-conditioned inside for shoppers' comfort. When you hear Divisoria it is synonymous to cheap bargains and you can haggle the price and get it more cheap. They have everything here, especially off-the-rack clothing, purses and shoes, novelty items, gadgets... well, almost, everything. I tried to look for a Sacramento Kings jersey but they didn't have it LoL! They also have food stalls. Mom was able to buy a Filipiniana (aka 'Maria Clara'). It was a fun shopping experience here. Whenever I can bully (ehem, invite!) my sister to go for a drive (she knows how, I don't), we…read moreusually head to Evia, just a few minutes away from our home. There's something about listening to music while cruising along Daang Hari that makes Saturday afternoons extra fun. We already have a routine established: We go to Kitchen Elf for my baking needs, shop at Rustan's Supermarket for groceries (only when the parental units ask that we do it), buy Aboy's Fresh Lumpia to take home, and pass by McDonald's or Starbucks to get food to eat in the car. When there's a bazaar on the Evia grounds, which is quite a regular occurrence especially during the holidays, we happily explore their wares. Evia is pet-friendly, and is quite a delightful place for furry friends as it has a wide space for walking. Stores are limited at the moment, though, so this is not a place to go to for shopping. But the center has something in it for all members of the family to enjoy. If you're looking to hang out and eat in a mall that's not too busy, you may want to give this a try.
