Sat here for quite a while at this sidewalk cafe just enjoying the warm Fall day but enjoying even more the coffee and wonderful food. You order inside and your order is brought out (cafe service is still very wait staff based). Servers are courteous and efficient. All speak English but certainly helps to speak Czech. Very much worth a stop if you are near for a light breakfast or light lunch with a wonderful street side atmosphere.

This cafe is one of the few cafes in Themis area that has one $ for price. They don't have too many items to eat, mostly paninis or wraps for 90 czk ($4), capris salad and some cheaper appetizers. They have some dessert options that look fresh and tantalizing. Plenty of tea and coffee options including alcoholic beverages. The staff were friendly and spoke good English. I had a wrap that was pretty decent. It is served hot and very nice on a cold day. The caprice salad had tomatoes, mozzarella, pesto, with olives which was also tasty. They also served a small basket of bread. While this place probably isn't great for a full meal if you're really hungry, I would definitely go back. Very pleasant place overall. Check it out if you are in or around the neighborhood.

While we were staring in the Mala Strana, it was just over a mile walk to get to Smichov, having a chance to pass by the Memorial to the Victims of Communism on our walk. Interesting setting and location, would have never found the place if it weren't for Janek, The Honest Guide on You Tube, calling the Eggs Benedict, "legendary." We can vouch for that, the soufflé was amazing looking and tasting. Big enough that my girlfriend could not finish the plate. I opted for the traditional English breakfast. It was a full plate of food that was fantastic! The beans were flavorful, the roasted tomatoes juicy and warm. The sausage AB's bacon cooked perfectly. The string is unique, very artsy in my opinion, combining indoor/outdoor seating. Very open and comfortable, appeared to be many locals taking in a morning coffee or breakfast and working. Amazing place, we enjoy every minute of this experience AB's our food. Highly recommended!

Bez Konceptu makes incredible lattes and cappuccinos topped with beautiful artwork, iced coffees and teas with fresh mint or fruit in the summer, and recently added chai lattes to the menu, which I missed dearly from home. The cheesecakes and sandwiches are fantastic (the triangle with egg, cheese and special sauce is one of the best hangover cures I've found!) and they are all homemade daily. On top of all this, they are the friendliest staff imaginable, always greeting you with a smile even when every table is full and there is a line out the door. Most speak fantastic English and of course Czech, making it a favorite for both expats and locals.
