A limited menu for the launch, there were three different sandwiches: a Cuban, Pulled Pork, and Pulled Chicken. Sides included potato salad, cole slaw, and a a firecracker slaw. Each sandwich came with 2 sides. Full disclosure: I have known the new proprietors for years, often encouraging them to start a food truck. The food was outstanding! Pulled pork was perfectly done - not too dry and a great flavor. Same for the pulled chicken. There was a spicy or sweet BBQ sauce that was served with the pulled sandwiches. The Cuban was delicious and had a little spicy flavor to make it a hit. The sides are all homemade and have an awesome combination of ingredients and spices to perfectly compliment the sandwiches. We had them at a nearby Mexican restaurant the night before after driving by this truck when it was closed and decided to give it another shot the following night. So glad we did. Solid birria tacos but the cabeza, so unsuspecting were some of the best tacos we've ever had anywhere. The truck is in a convenience store parking lot that you can grab your jarritos and scratch tickets and anything else you might need. You can take the tacos to go or sit at a picnic table and eat your tacos to the sweet sound of the Norteño music playing outside.
