It's basically a drive-through zoo. A lot of of the animals roam free, but then some of them like the elephants, giraffes, big cats, etc. are in enclosures. But they do have a good amount of room in their enclosures. This place is an accredited zoo, so they have standards that they have to follow.
Some of the animals were a bit farther away, some come right up to your car. Especially in the area where you are allowed to feed the animals. I didn't buy a feed cup, but quite a few of them were still walking up to my car,, hoping that I had food. Sorry guys... it's just so much fun seeing the animals up close. Normal drive-through time is an hour to an hour and a half, but depending on how many times you stop, and how many cars are in the park, it could definitely be more. It's all up to you. If there are a lot of cars stopped for a specific animal, you can take a picture, and then go around the cars that are stopped. There's plenty of room to do so.
In addition to the drive-through, they also have Safari village, which has more animals, a train ride, animal shows, restaurants, and snack bars, even a playground for the kids.
It was $29.95 for adults, less for kids and seniors. If you are military/veterans/1st responder, you get the best discount. Free! I thought that was very generous of them.
Thanks for the great visit. I will be back the next time I'm passing through.
