It's sad that most people only leave a review when they have had a bad experience with a company…read more I have had nothing but exceptional service with Horizon Hobby and when I've had issues, they do everything to get things fixed in the fastest manner possible. My first issue was with my Spektrum iX14+ Transmitter. I would load a plane and within a minute of take-off, I would get the black screen of death. Luckily, I would still have control of the plane but had no visual contact with the screen. I went through the initial bot chat line (which I must admit can be frustrating) and within the hour, a customer service representative contacted me via email and started assessing the issue. Later that day, I was told that I needed to return the transmitter so they could determine what the issue was. I sent it in and as soon as they received it, the technician exported all my models and then performed a Factory Reset on the Android system. Once that was completed, he connected to their wifi network, updated several apps, re-installed Airware and then imported my models back into the transmitter. After completing the repair, he created a new Test Model and bound it to a receiver to check the RF output, gimbal calibration and made sure all the trims and switches were working correctly. They sent it back to me and I haven't had an issue with it since. Thank you very much Dan and Mike. You guys are awesome! My most recent issue that I had was with 2 Arrma Vorteks trucks that both were experiencing some sort of short between the ESC and motor. Occasionally, they would just stop running but if I wiggled the wires between the two, I could get them to run again but would continue to intermittently lose power. I contacted support in the same manner as before and had customer service promptly respond and they are sending me two new ESC's to correct the issue. I don't know why other people are experiencing so many issues. The two times I've had to contact them, they have been very quick to respond and have corrected the issues, no questions asked. I have worked with and for companies that I admit have had poor customer service/tech support and I have to say that Horizon Hobby's service and support is second to none.

If I had a shopping addiction this store would be my demise. I was on the hunt for something very specific and Hobby Lobby was my last stop before resorting to purchasing something online. Feeling defeated as I began to leave the store, there it was! Exactly what I had been searching for was in one of the last six aisles of the store (or first 6 aisles depending on how you shop the store :). Yay! Giddy with excitement, the item was also on sale for 50% off, so I didn't need that 40% off coupon after all. Store is clean and staffed well. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and the place was busy, but manageable. Nice parking lot. Will surely be back.

I volunteer and teach watercolor classes at libraries and assisted living facilities, and I provide all of the materials gratis so I was thrilled to see that I could get watercolor paper for 40% off. I picked up 30 small pads of watercolor paper. When I got upfront, I was told "oh these don't get the 40% discount because they're the ' your price' items and the manager told me that the yellow tags meant that they were the ' your price ' items. I'd like to know how a consumer is supposed to know that when the signs are all printed in 30 point type that all masters touch is on sale and posted right in front of where I selected the paper. In fact, the signs were taped to the displayer and all I saw was that masters touch brand - nothing identifying them as excluded from the 40% off sale. I think they intentionally mislead and I walked out and left their watercolor paper and I will never darken their door again. They can take all of their fake chest-beating Jesus and shove it where the sun doesn't shine because they are not honest and that in my opinion is hardly Christian. I'll buy bulk paper and cut it myself and I will make a point of telling all of my students to avoid Hobby lobby when they are searching for products. Hope this helps.

The guy who runs this is a former student himself, and he is always looking for ways to improve the store and help out with anyone who needs it. I ran in once (literally RAN in) minutes before the store closed looking for some chip board to cut. To set the scene, it was the week of final reviews and I only had about a half hour left on my laser cutter reservation.
