This is obviously not a normal thing you see everyday and the fit is different than a typical skiier. Everyone here was so helpful and responsive to what I felt and helped walk me through the process since it was my first ski boot. They were understanding of my price point and my goals with skiing and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I've spent several days on the mountains now and hitting new top speeds everytime. The boot they helped me find had helped me so much with my goals towards racing and I have my first race camp in March!

Brought in in for repair at the end of the day with hopes of being able to ski the next day at Breck. They quickly swapped out some parts on my bindings and returned my skis to me in 10 minutes -- at no charge!! I was able to ski at Breck the next two days with zero problems. We did buy some additional equipment for my son (expert skier) and found Alpine to be a good value.

BUT the time and concern that went into our boots and ski's told that this store really cares about your comfort and most importantly Your safety ! After Recieving awesome customer service we left out and went to the gondola parking lot To get dressed and boot up....low and behold one of the guys from brs shows up and wanted to take a second look at the ski settings and make sure it was correct for a first time novice skier ....and also stayed and helped make sure clothing and boots were on and fitted properly ....I've never seen customer service like this ....they didn't have to do this after we left the store ....can't remember his name but it was well above and beyond that he and they cared about the person they rent to not just a sale or renter ....thanks again guys ! Would never rent anywhere else in Breck!!!!

A bit intimidating when you first walk in; generally someone will approach you to ask what you are looking for. We can to rent skis and snowboarding gear for our first go at the sport. You fill out a questionnaire then get escorted to find a helmet then the boot station. I initially went with skis, unfortunately it seemed like no one there was knowledgeable in skiing to give me pointers or to teach me how to get in n out of the skis. A key factor in my foreseeable future. My Fiancé went with snowboarding and said they went into great detail with him about riding and making sure he was comfortable getting in and out his board. One great perk they offer is unlimited swap outs. So I was able to change to snowboarding when skiing wasn't working out as easily as I hoped. They rent everything except goggles so keep that in mind or buy some from amazon. Otherwise, you'll be sending like $40+ on a one time use Note: Ski Boots are horrrribly uncomfortable.

When we got there the manager said that they didn't offer that service and we were so disappointed. He talked us into taking the e-assist bikes and assured us that we could make the round trip! My fitness level was not prime and it made me apprehensive but again he assured us that it was doable. I am so glad he talked us into the e-bikes because we so enjoyed every minute of our ride without feeling like we were going to have to bathe in icy hot after. Kudos over and over for this business! Don't hesitate renting from these guys.

(Didn't have the bikes I had reserved, process took forever, etc.) I didn't think it could get much worse, but unfortunately I was wrong. I received a notice from my car rental company that I used on my trip to Breckenridge that I had received a ticket, and that I owed them $200. After several calls, I determined that the "violation" was a parking ticket that I had received while parked in the lot in front of this shop. There was no physical ticket, and I did not even find out about it until 3 months later, well beyond the window for appealing the ticket. I had rented bikes from BS&S for a few hours, so I left my car in their lot while we were out riding. It turns out that there is a 2 hour limit for parking in their lot, and the ticket if you go over is $150. (The additional $50 was an "admin fee" from the rental car company). There was no mention of a parking limit when renting the bikes. I contacted the bike shop, and was told that was "unusual", and that they would check into it, but ultimately they did nothing to address the issue. Anyway, ended up paying $200 more for a bike rental that was very unsatisfactory to begin with. Beware!!

We had paid for 4 days in good faith, but the manager said he would not make an exception. He offered a comp day, but we're not locals. How would we use it? Apparently, in the fine print, when you sign the liability release, you agree to no refunds for early returns. The shop was clean, the employees were competent, and the equipment was good. But I would have appreciated an exception as a good will gesture.
