They did make me an appointment being a new patient, but I still had to wait my turn while all the people who were walk-ins and got there before me got seen. The place is nice and clean and the staff is very helpful. It felt a bit like a production line, but then again - I've never been to a chiropractor before, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I did feel better right after having some things pop and crack, but the pain resumed the next day. I will go a few more times and continue with my home stretches and things as well before I make I final decision.

No long waits for appointment usually the same day or the very next. Never had a long wait in the office waiting room like most doctors do. He seems to take all the time necessary to relive the problem. I have walked into his office bent over with pain and left standing up straight many times. Since I have retired I have moved over one hundred miles from Norfolk and still go to Dr. Smith. I did try a local Chiropractor closer to where I live one time on a Friday afternoon ( never again), it was too late to drive to Norfolk, I ended up in the emergency room. I suffered all weekend and went to Dr.Smith on Monday, I drove home with no pain!

Friendly Staff and Knowledgeable Chiropractor…read more 1. Friendly Staff. The staff who run the front office are amazing. They have good systems at this clinic and booking appointments is effortless. Beyond that, the staff are very friendly to the point where you can make conversation with them and they will actually listen to you and talk to you like you're a human being. Believe it or not, that's rare in today's society. Booking an appointment and being seen yesterday was an amazing experience with such great people manning the front office of this clinic! 2. Knowledgeable Chiropractor. Being seen by Dr. Ryan was the best chiropractic experience! He's very methodical! He pinpointed and went to work on the exact issue I was experiencing by (1) asking me a collection of questions involving the how, what, when, and where of the pain I've been feeling. And (2) from there he evaluated me by having me do a plethora of motions and rate the pain level on each. (3) From there I got to lie on this amazing roller bed that was literally an automated, high quality back massager (felt so amazing!). (4) Lastly, Dr. Ryan gave me an adjustment efficiently and effectively suited to my situation. (5) Dr Ryan explained the applicable clinical factors of what I'm experiencing and why and gave me advisory on how to get the best recovery. He finished our discussion with a roadmap of how consistently he would like to see me and for how long. The amazing staff helped me book my next appointment. Pricing was reasonable and affordable considering the top-tier services and advisory I received. Very professional, clean, and effective clinic. Highly recommend. Would give 6 stars if I could!

I went in twice seeking help during severe pain and left feeling unheard, dismissed, and honestly…read moremore frustrated than when I arrived. Instead of listening to my concerns or discussing realistic treatment options, this chiropractor seemed far more focused on pushing a long-term plan of care based entirely on his own opinions, without considering my financial situation, schedule, or personal preferences. Communication was extremely difficult. I was frequently talked over, interrupted, and repeatedly told the same things while my own concerns were ignored. The interaction felt condescending and unprofessional rather than compassionate or collaborative. What was especially disappointing was going in for urgent pain relief and essentially being told I would need to come back another day rather than receiving meaningful help during the visit. In over 20 years of healthcare experience, I have rarely encountered someone who made me feel so unheard and dismissed as a patient. After I expressed my concerns, the response I received was essentially, "I'm sorry you feel that way," which did not feel like genuine accountability or understanding. It was deflective and a backhanded apology if you even call it that. Patients deserve to feel listened to, respected, and included in decisions about their own care. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

Go to another chiropractor or if you use them don't allow them to schedule all those appointments for you. And make sure you ask how much ea session is costing. I'm going to get a lawyer to look into what they charged us. I checked with some other Chiropractors and they said we should have never been charged that much due to us not having serious injuries.
