The three dishes that we made were pork baos, dan dan noodles, and wontons with chilli sauce. These were all staple foods that I grew up eating in a Chinese family but it was quite interesting to make them with a western fusion twist. If you don't know how to cook, do not worry because I certainly don't either. Dan, the owner, led our class with his assistant Kait. Both were very helpful, engaging in conversation, and accommodating. Dan did a really good job of explaining the origins of each dish, bringing in his own experiences and life stories with his family which I really appreciate as this added a personal touch. He stresses the use of organic ingredients and often shared with us where to buy these common items. Once you walk in, you store your personal items in the cupboard provided. Then you write your name on an erasable name tag and put your apron on. Everyone is involved in the cooking process, from washing vegetables to chopping garlic and green onions. There was just a right amount of time to cook but also socialize with one another. You can also consume alcohol while cooking. I found that the assistant often prepared most of the meat, so some of the hardest parts of the recipes were already accounted for. The pork bao, for example, only required us to make the bun part but I do not recall preparing the pork or marinating it. Everything tasted delicious and looked so colourful that the plating easily looked like restaurant quality, even if you just tossed them all together on a dish. We used a lot of garlic though so a lot of us still came to work with garlic breath the next day! Still, I think my favourite dish must have been the dan dan noodles because of the peanut sauce. Feeling very lucky to have tried my first cooking class through work and hope to be back another time to cook another cuisine!

Then, when my staff contacted the company, not only is there a minimum charge per person, but they don't even have an office/location and, to hold the event, we would need to rent out a separate location (at our cost) to hold the event. Avoid at all costs as the service/response is piss poor and the additional fees to rent a location to hold the event is not properly disclosed on the website. Based on the quote received, a 3 hour corporate session for 10 people was between $2,350 - $2,600 depending on which "location" to hold the event, which is absolutely ludicrous given the other corporate event companies that are available.

They are pretty lax when explaining about the waiver (actually they didn't explain at all, just said read this through ok fill it out and walked away) not rude but could be a bit more welcoming for sure. Due to Covid they are "out of items" except bottles. Fun and a decent little workout but a bit disappointed that they have nothing but bottles. I mean if you are still opened, you should still have some options. You pay $10 per person going in then you pay whatever you're bringing in or buy from them to smash. Price varies. Take about 30mins and ended pretty fast. I'm guess each "$10" is 30mins? If you finish before 30mins and want more bottles, you can go to the front desk to purchase more. Washroom is decently clean but super dark (everywhere is dark) black walls, some lights not working, and one stall wasn't work either (meaning only one stall left. Parking lot right outside though. I'd say it's really fun but with the distance, price, and the fact that's there's only bottles..I might go there after a long while. Definitely not a place I'd go often or recommend to everyone.

They gave us an extra keyboard to smash due to the delay. The PPE wasn't very protective I'd suggest wearing thicker shoes/boots. I'm still giving it three stars since it is a great idea and the price was fair due to the groupon, but I wouldn't come back to pay full price.

What a great night learning how to prepare and cook in a real hands on atmosphere by a professional…read morechef. We did the Thai class and made shrimp spring rolls, beef satay skewers, and green curry chicken. It was so much fun and it tasted amazing. Our instructor Raf would demonstrate the prep and then the cooking of the dish while we watched him cook and gave tips and teach things like proper cutting technique, to heating the oil correctly and when to add to maximize things like flavour and not to overcook things. Once he finished it was our turn to prepare and cook the dish (while being supervised and given tips and guidance while we cooked)and then when we finished we went and sat in the dining room and got to taste our creation. Each course we did one at a time then ate it and then proceeded to the next course. If you want to learn cooking techniques and some pointers from a real pro and have some fun I highly recommend this. Great for couples, parent& child, friends or on your own to have some fun and prepare a really delicious meal. Class size was 20 people.

Usually, with a large group, you run into "too many cooks in the kitchen," but the abundance of clever, parallel challenges meant our group could split into smaller teams and stay fully engaged from start to finish. The production value is incredible; the environment is so responsive that it feels like genuine magic. What really moved us, though, was the hospitality. The Find and Seek staff went out of their way to include a subtle nod to a specific fandom as part of a farewell for someone leaving our team. Their thoughtfulness and organization made the moment work perfectly, taking the experience to a heartwarming personal level we didn't expect. We are waiting for word back on the situation, but the company has been giving us the run around for 10 days with no communications from a manager or owner despite us being promised multiple times that they would get back to us the next day. We will be proceeding with legal action and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau due to the severity of the situation and the lack of action from the company.
