Don't waste your money like I did. This is a good business plan for the company, but horrible for the customer. I wasted thousands and had no success. I did have a wreck and had to put my membership on hold, but when I resumed they were trying to get me to do a $750 blood test. INSANE! I did not do that because I didn't feel I had gotten my monies worth and did not wish to invest anymore. I did find a place that does DNA test for $349, basically a tenth of what they charge. The $349 test is way more extensive and gave me a great deal more info than Slimgeneration. The only thing I liked about it was my coach, she was very sweet. But they tell you its easy and the weight will come off easily by eating for my DNA, but that was not the case. read more

After following all the recommendations, from "the doctors" which I never interacted with, I never lost any weight. I put in writing that I wanted to cancel my contract and hand delivered it to their main office. The manager told me she would look into it, I never heard back from her or the company. A year later, a collection company sent me a letter from Slim Generations. I wrote a review on their Facebook, which they were rude and blamed me. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and a lawyer. Don't waste your money. read more

I went in very optimistic, and don't get me wrong I think this could be a great place. The staff is very friendly. However, up until my consultation I had never seen any pricing. I couldn't find any prices online so I was a little shocked when I saw the pricing in the book that the consultant gave me. When I asked to have overnight to think about it, I mean $4200 is a lot for a young adult, she said she really didn't want me to leave because she wanted to get me started that day, so she would leave the room while I called who I needed to. That rubbed me the wrong way, I felt like I was backed into a corner. She also brought in products and told me I needed to start on them, without asking if I wanted to. She also rang them up and wanted me to pay for them without asking if I could afford them. I ended up signing up for the program but I decided that I wanted to opt out. It was well within my 3 business day period. I had to get the form and fill it out in the office where I signed up. I felt like I was a dollar sign. They did not want me to leave the program, even when I said I had other legitimate reasons that I might need to wait and see before dropping that kind of money on a package. It took me 30 minutes to finally get the paper filled out. I personally felt that every emotional reason for me to stay was thrown at me. While I was genuinely considering coming back after consulting my physician, and having a little more time to get the money together so it wouldn't be one huge hit, after my final encounter there I won't be going back. I personally felt like I was emotionally manipulated, and when I said I needed to think things over, I felt that they did not want to give me that option. I genuinely hope everyone signed up for the program has great results, but I do not feel this is the place for me. read more
