The front desk staff are absolutely pleasant, the nurse was just out of this world, and Dr Ko himself was just out of this world. He definitely is in the right profession. But due to total uncooperativeness of the staff he was stuck with, out of desperation I called the Harvard office as my daughter was a patient there and had a Covid shot *scheduled*. I called, said who I was, that my daughter was a patient there and I'd like a shot too. The response--"of course we'll schedule you. Would you to go with her?" How often do you receive that kind of customer service.? Shortly after, I changed doctors. For a lot of us midtowners it's convenient. And it's complete. During that time her communication became increasingly unreasonable via her demands & expectations without regard for patient care/needs - completely insensitive. In addition, she lacks transparency. She demonstrated that her goals are to order tests & services that will increase her income, even though the patient has no indications or need for testing. The 'god complex' has taken over, subjugating the Hippocratic Oath completely. * * * HARD PASS * * * on this one . . .

He was my husbands pediatrician and has been our kids pediatrician for 16 years. I had an encounter today that was very out of the ordinary for that office, I've never met this woman before she works in the front at check out. She was so extremely rude and hateful, such a shame to have someone like that with that kind of attitude working for such an amazing man. I left today in tears, she was so hateful. I heard her talking about me behind the desk, I also heard her talking not so good about 2 parents that called in while I was there, someone called in about a child with a fever for a couple of days and she was asking if she should bring her kid in, when they hung up she pretty much called her dumb for not just bringing her in, they went on for about 30 seconds or so before one made eye contact and noticed I was listening. I was very upset not only to hear her say something about me but about the mom calling in. It makes me wonder what all is said not nice behind my back when I don't know whether to bring my kid in, I don't run to the doctor at the first sign of illness either, I let the body try and fight before running in. I did confront her I asked if she was giving me attitude because she was and she said yes because I'm rude, I didn't believe at all I was ever rude in that office I came out smiling from seeing Dr.D and bam! Encounter noting but gloom and hateful attitude. She was talking crap to me in front of other people in the waiting room. I've worked for surgeons before I know if I would of spoke to someone like that I wouldn't have a job. I even told her she was hurting my feelings. We will not be coming back. I know it's just 1 person out of thousands so losing one isn't anything to your pocket book, but we considered Dr. D like family. I'm heartbroken to have to leave this office but he's retiring soon so might as well transition now. I was a professional relations coordinator in my last position and I actually trained offices on customer relations, I can tell you right now! That woman needs that training!!! Dr. d we love you! Wish you nothing but the best! I will always always remember you, always singing, joking with my kids you always made them feel at ease. You took such good care of my kids I will forever be grateful for that. I've never met another doc like you!!! Please know you impacted our lives so much in such an amazing way. You will be missed when you retire like you have no ideal. I couldn't give you less than 5 stars because of 1 hateful employee. I was told to not take how someone treats you personally, the way someone treats you says more about them than you.

first off you are made to sign a contract. within that contract is an agreement of mutual respect…read morefor time. we arrived 15 minutes early and were not seen until 2.5/hours later. we then waited another 20 minutes for the PA to come in. she did not even exam my child. she took an educated guess within 1 minute of me talking and ordered 1 lab. we got the lab done and never heard from them again with results. i called 3x. never once did i receive a call back with results. i had to take my daughter to another doctor for the exact same test. when i left a vm with my complaint and that it didn't seem fair to pay for services that i never received results from, i finally got a call from the office manager- without any sort of apology, accountability, nothing.. will never go back. i cannot speak for the actual doctor in the office Hayden, that everyone recommended. but the PA and staff are terrible.
