We did both sign up got our discounts for having 2 of us as well as paying upfront. Does it work? 100%, but you have to follow the program during the first 60 days plus. In this time frame of hoping to loose 45 lbs, I lost 38 lbs, but I also spent a week or better on vacation in the Gulf, where I only partially followed the program, not to mention I really like to cook. I did finally hit my goal after about 80 days. I went in to talk to the Adrienne. Decided that I wanted to reset my goal and make it a total of 60 lbs, but I was in no hurry. This is where I am now. Are there concerns? Yes, a few issues. First, the printed book and what we were told are not exactly the same, but when communicating via the app, the group responds quickly. Second the printed recipes are tough to figure out. The book really needs an index or such and better formatting. Third, my wife wanted another bottle as she wanted to loose a bit more after running through her initial 2 bottles. The first adder bottle I picked had something floating in it and tasted off. Talking Pat who spoke with the Doctor, they agreed to replace that bottle. The replacement bottle was still a bit off but we were told that this is due to small batch processing. For me the program worked. Could I have done it myself with low calorie program, maybe but the facts that I paid for the program and didn't want to fell like I wasted the money and knowing that I can do a 5-2 system that works to maintain my weight through holidays and business meetings, and using the plateau breakers, I am happy. I still use the app and push the water intake. I still need to get to my new goal and with new year, I can get there in about 4 weeks or so. Then I will formally enter the maintenance phase.
