They have the best homemade ranch dressing which goes amazing with their fried pickles. Tenders are small but tasty . I love the cheesecake dessert jars. They have the best vanilla shakes in town. Service can be slow inside. Employees read more

Honestly my entire order was wrong the chicken was rubbery and the ranch watery and separating. The lettuce tasted unwashed not including the alarming amount of tomato's after I requested none on my entire order as I'm allergic to the seeds.. if I could give this place zero stars I would, this is why people don't try new things and businesses fizzle out. You can do better and you should. read more

I work nearby and received some coupons from the managers to give the place a try. I was looking forward to it, but unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. As soon as I walked in, there was a strong smell of old grease that was hard to ignore. The floor felt slick, the table was sticky, and the furniture looked like it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in a while. It just gave off an unkempt vibe. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and helpful, and I had no issues placing my order or navigating the menu. However, when I went to fill my drink, I was shocked by the condition of the tea dispensers. The exteriors were visibly dirty, and the buildup on the inside was honestly sickening. The lids weren't properly secured, and I saw flies going in and out of the containers. That was a huge red flag. Combined with the greasy smell and unclean surfaces, I seriously debated whether I should stay or ask for a refund. My food arrived during that moment of hesitation, so I decided to give it a chance. The food itself was fine--hot, fresh, and decent in portion size. But I couldn't stop thinking about the overall cleanliness. I'm fairly certain the grease used in cooking was old too, based on the flavor and smell. In the end, I didn't eat much. My mind just couldn't get past the unsanitary feel of the place. I appreciate the gesture of the coupons and the friendly service, but based on this experience, I don't think I'll be returning. read more

I went there for the first time cuz a friend said they are better than raising canes. That is a big hellllll no. They got two stars cuz the service was good and the wings I got were ok. But the slim meal was not good at all. Chicken was dry and the fries tasted like it's been sitting under the warmer lamp for waaay too long. I also got the chicken salad and my wife said that's ok too. The dressing is generic Ken's brand. The restaurant had plenty of seats and ample parking at this location. Oh yeah, we also got the Oreo shake and that was ok too. CFA shakes are better. read more

Yum Chicken & waffles, how can you go wrong? You can't. The restaurant was clean and decorated with bright clean colors. We were greeted and given a moment to look over menu and then we ordered. The employees were polite, greeted us and took our order. I really like the menu, it's short & sweet. I always feel like when the menu is short you see the effort & love put into the food more. Our food was cooked correctly, it came out hot. We enjoyed it and will return for future visits. read more

Went there recently to get a few snack type foods. Ordered a fried pickle with ranch, a banana pudding in a jar and a regular potato salad at the drive-thru. Pros: The staff was polite and attentive. The staff is the only reason I gave two stars. Cons: Potato salad: It was watery and gritty, threw this item away, couldn't get through the first bite, I had high hopes for this potato salad. I would not buy again nor recommend this item. Fried pickles: Fried beautifully, overly salted though and no ranch was in our bag. Would not recommend unless you could add your own salt and they definitely make sure they add the ranch. Threw this one away as well as it was as salty as the sea. Maybe salter. Banana pudding in a jar: Good size, great banana taste when you could find it, way to many cookies were added and that's pretty much what you got in every bite, a small amount of pudding and tons of cookies. The whipping cream and cookies did not taste fresh. All in all, I might go back and try some of their other offerings but probably not for a while. read more

Let's start with, my ability to irritate an order taker is unmatched. I am undefeated. Well, I was until I met Tony F. Tony F was my order taker at the Slim Chickens store #6506. When I say amazing, immaculate, wonderful and extraordinary. Those words do not compare to the pleasant experience Tony F. Provided. I'm not the best at sticking to one order. Sue me! Tony took my order with a smile a great vibe and all around amazing attitude. This is before the order, during the order and after the order. Of course during the order I changed things about 7 times. Tony F., I am impressed. I thank you for your kind and pleasant demeanor. read more

First official time eating at slim chickens and it did not disappoint. Their mac and cheese is some of the best I've had! The chicken was served fresh (very fresh) and the fries had a nice seasoning. Everything was good and service was fast! read more

If service is important to you, then just go to Zaxby's. The employee that took my order, Ayrleigh, was chewing gum and smacking her lips while I was trying to hear, her already quiet voice, and gave me attitude when I asked her to repeat herself. Made this Slim Chickens an extremely undesirable place. The food is alright, nothing like Cane's or Zaxby's but you can't beat the price. read more

We were on the hunt for a new place to eat that was fast food but more sit down style. We hit the jackpot here at Slim Chickens! Best wings I've been able to find in the area! They gave me food poisoning and their food tasted horrible I hated this entire experience

WORST! Experience tonight with Pensacola's Slim Chickens. Worst staff working tonight! (1/11/24 7PM) Did a mobile order, had trouble with them receiving my order then little to NO help when i arrived trying to get the order. LAZY! Customer service. Food was thrown around in bag, one of my items were the fried pickles maybe 8 fried pickles in the box. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat but i will defiantly make the drive to Navarre to go to Slim Chickens instead of going to the Pensacola location, just to get some decent service!! I have never been more disappointed in Fast Food customer service and hate to leave negative reviews but this place needs some big time work done to replace the staff working tonight! read more

The food was absolutely delicious, I loved it, it's just one of those things you got to love. The staff was so nice the lady we had was so patient, we had never been there so it took us a while to order, she helped us order and recommended things. Before we left I mentioned to my dad about how the jar dessert looked good, she immediately handed us one free of charge with a smile on her face. The interior was so clean and welcoming. It smelt so fresh, it was so organized as well. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to try a nice fried chicken place. read more

The food here is good but a recent inspection was not good and it has really hurt this location. The full weight of this rests on management. Managers have to leave by example and it is know that some employees just don't want to listen. If the employees don't want to clean or restock, ask yourself was this included in their job description? Personally I was raise to chip in to get the job done and worry about who did what later and at the same time fully expect everyone to do the same, help out. If not go get another job. Ask yourself are you helping or hurting your job. This problem that happened was obviously seen by heath inspectors and no one else that worked there? read more

Sick of them shorting me on my orders. In the past the mangers have made up for the shortage, however I went tonight and ordered my regular 25 grilled tenders and two Texas toast. The order was short 8 tenders and the toast was burnt. The order was supposed to be ready at 10:19 but they brought it to the car at 10:45. I asked the girl who brought it out if it was counted correctly, she said they counted it (which is what they always say). I told her I hope so because I was going to count them when I got home. Lo and behold short again so I drive back to the store got there at 11 ( I only live a few minutes from the store) and tell the lady, she was rude and obnoxious saying she packed the order and checked the count and then said she doesn't know what happened between my house and the store. Why would I drive all the way back there without eating if I was trying to stiff the store. I have been shorted numerous times at this store, like how hard is it to count to 25? I'm calling the manager tomorrow, hopefully they will be more helpful. I mean 8 tenders is almost a 10 piece meal in itself along with the burnt toast. My advice: make room in your car (push your seat all the way back), Make sure your hands are clean and count your order in your car. So angry right now I could scream. Don't take advantage of honest customers. The employee had zero customer service skills and should be fired. Adding to my review, I spoke to Trent this morning and he was going to make it right. Generously replaced it with 25 tenders but this time they were fried and breaded. I don't do breaded. Do I called them back after I found out they were breaded and again got a hard time about the darn chicken and getting what I paid for. I'm going to say goodbye to slim chickens forever now. I have driven there 4 times just for one order. So this time I talk to Gabriel and he's like, I can't just make you a replacement, so I said I just want what I paid for and so he says do you have the receipt and I told him I brought it in with me the first time and the girl at the counter didn't look at it although when I called a young girl named Kristan answered and said she was a manager, she tried to claim that they looked at the receipt when I picked up the replacement previously. Gabriel said he would replace with the receipt. So here I am back at this restaurant just trying to get what o paid for. This was way too much stress and driving just for some dang chicken. From now on I will make slim like chicken at home. GOODBYE SLIM CHICKENS read more

I have tried Foosacklys, Canes, Zacksbys all are tasty and fresh but I feel the tenders at Slim Chickens are a touch tastier also I love their smashed Potato Salad. Yes, there was a bad incident recently ( honestly it seems like a set up ) Any Way... I enjoy their tenders and wraps. read more

We have visited twice since their initial opening. It was okay. Admittedly, I would probably return to visit. The first time I had a chicken basket of sorts. The chicken was was juicy and flavorful. The fries were good too. My second time, I tried the chicken and waffles. Perhaps it was a lack of syrup, but I believe if it had a little more syrup, this would be better. The waffle was nicely cooked. Both times, it was a challenge to locate a clean table. The first time might have been understandable with the newness of the store; however the second time was not nearly as busy and still things were messy. read more

Food is really good and you get a lot of it for the cost, especially the fried pickles!

Stopped for the first time and I got a side of Mac and cheese ... maybe 2 tablespoons at the most . But it was good

A couple of weeks before the cockroach incident I was in the area and hungry. I had five cars in front of me and it was over twenty five minutes before I was on my way. The first thing I noticed was that my order was incomplete. I didn't have the time to return and have my order straightened out. The chicken strips were so oily that there were a few teaspoons of oil underneath it in the container. The wings were limp and rubbery, French fries oily and soggy. A couple of pieces of toast that looked like they had been stepped on. Easily one of the worst meals I've ever seen. It all went straight into the garbage can at a nearby gas station while I filled my tank. Inside the gas station, I bought a few chicken strips. They were perfectly cooked, hot crispy and delicious. read more

Disappointed with today's meal! Being elderly my wife and I eat there occasionally and a couple of things got our attention. We always order Chick Meals. First: The size of the chicken pieces has shrunk by at least one third to one half. The French fries was one step above being potato skins. Both items were not what we expected. Both were too salty. The chicken tenders were tough and required a knife to cut. Second: It is my opinion that the bottom line of costs has surpassed customer satisfaction. We survived the cockroach episode and came back, but now you have put yourselves out by attacking your customer base. Not a good way to run a business! read more

I love slim chickens. However, I'm giving this place three stars only because there are a lot of things that they could improve. A lot of times there are long wait lines, you get the wrong items or don't get all the items ordered AT ALL. When ordering with doordash or through the app, you can choose to have the chicken with "shaken flavor" but if you go through the drive through, they say that they don't do that, which is weird. I enjoy the taste of the food overall, but the customer service and the service in general should improve. read more

This place is great! Love the strips and wings! Try the chicken n waffle! Yum! The dessert jars are really good!

My husband and I have been coming to this establishment since it opened. And in the few weeks since the upper management left town, the quality of the restaurant itself and the eating experience has gone downhill. The french fries get left out and then double fried, the pickles get over salted, and the mushrooms come to your table cold. We had to clean out our own booth even though the place was not busy. They obviously are not being cleaned in between guests nor have the floors. The napkin dispenser at our table was completely empty. When we went to get drinks the Coke machine was completely out on both nozzles, and when I let them know the person I spoke to just rolled her eyes and walked away. The staff is rude, the place is dirty, and the food quality is not worth it anymore. read more

The era of fast food is long gone. There is no longer such a thing called "fast food", can't even call it convenient. It's just food now. Even after the hype died down, still took a half hour for my food to get done, I had a car of four people to feed, not a whole lot to make given that it supposed to be a fast food chicken establishment. They did make sure all our stuff was in the bag, so I'll give them props for that. Potato salad is not that great, needs more salt. Sweet tea was pretty good in my opinion. It has potential of being a good place to eat, but I think it's just on par with Foosackly's or Raising Cane's. read more

I normally don't review restaurants but this is terrible business. I ordered from Grubhub and waited for my food no problem. My driver was at the restaurant and they issued out the wrong food and told her they couldn't remake it. Grubhub reimbursed the payment but that will not show up until five days later. I have never thought I would see the day a restaurant would not remake a order because they gave it to the wrong person that didn't even pay for it. The drive for Grubhub even told me they argued with her. I don't know who own this establishment but whoever is managing the place has zero customers service and that's not good for business read more

Hey Pensacola! Have you guys had Slim chickens yet? If you haven't you are seriously missing out! I have eaten here multiple times and I have not had a single bad experience. The staff is always nice and courteous, the chicken fingers are always super fresh and super hot, and the french fries are awesome as well! I usually go through the driveway but I thought today I would test out the app and order online. I ordered my food while sitting in the parking lot of Lowe's which connects to their parking lot. By the time I drove over, parked, and walked inside, my food was ready! Once again another really sweet staff member helped me out and handed me my food.
