I work nearby and received some coupons from the managers to give the place a try. I was looking forward to it, but unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. As soon as I walked in, there was a strong smell of old grease that was hard to ignore. The floor felt slick, the table was sticky, and the furniture looked like it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in a while. It just gave off an unkempt vibe. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and helpful, and I had no issues placing my order or navigating the menu. However, when I went to fill my drink, I was shocked by the condition of the tea dispensers. The exteriors were visibly dirty, and the buildup on the inside was honestly sickening. The lids weren't properly secured, and I saw flies going in and out of the containers. That was a huge red flag. Combined with the greasy smell and unclean surfaces, I seriously debated whether I should stay or ask for a refund. My food arrived during that moment of hesitation, so I decided to give it a chance. The food itself was fine--hot, fresh, and decent in portion size. But I couldn't stop thinking about the overall cleanliness. I'm fairly certain the grease used in cooking was old too, based on the flavor and smell. In the end, I didn't eat much. My mind just couldn't get past the unsanitary feel of the place. I went there for the first time cuz a friend said they are better than raising canes. That is a big hellllll no. They got two stars cuz the service was good and the wings I got were ok. But the slim meal was not good at all. Chicken was dry and the fries tasted like it's been sitting under the warmer lamp for waaay too long. I also got the chicken salad and my wife said that's ok too. The dressing is generic Ken's brand. The restaurant had plenty of seats and ample parking at this location. Went there recently to get a few snack type foods. Ordered a fried pickle with ranch, a banana pudding in a jar and a regular potato salad at the drive-thru. Pros: The staff was polite and attentive. The staff is the only reason I gave two stars. Cons: Potato salad: It was watery and gritty, threw this item away, couldn't get through the first bite, I had high hopes for this potato salad. I would not buy again nor recommend this item. Fried pickles: Fried beautifully, overly salted though and no ranch was in our bag. Would not recommend unless you could add your own salt and they definitely make sure they add the ranch. Threw this one away as well as it was as salty as the sea. Maybe salter. Banana pudding in a jar: Good size, great banana taste when you could find it, way to many cookies were added and that's pretty much what you got in every bite, a small amount of pudding and tons of cookies. The whipping cream and cookies did not taste fresh. All in all, I might go back and try some of their other offerings but probably not for a while. read more

The food was absolutely delicious, I loved it, it's just one of those things you got to love. The staff was so nice the lady we had was so patient, we had never been there so it took us a while to order, she helped us order and recommended things. Before we left I mentioned to my dad about how the jar dessert looked good, she immediately handed us one free of charge with a smile on her face. The interior was so clean and welcoming. Sick of them shorting me on my orders. In the past the mangers have made up for the shortage, however I went tonight and ordered my regular 25 grilled tenders and two Texas toast. The order was short 8 tenders and the toast was burnt. The order was supposed to be ready at 10:19 but they brought it to the car at 10:45. I asked the girl who brought it out if it was counted correctly, she said they counted it (which is what they always say). I told her I hope so because I was going to count them when I got home. I'm calling the manager tomorrow, hopefully they will be more helpful. I mean 8 tenders is almost a 10 piece meal in itself along with the burnt toast. Disappointed with today's meal! Being elderly my wife and I eat there occasionally and a couple of things got our attention. We always order Chick Meals. First: The size of the chicken pieces has shrunk by at least one third to one half. The French fries was one step above being potato skins. Both items were not what we expected. Both were too salty. The chicken tenders were tough and required a knife to cut. Second: It is my opinion that the bottom line of costs has surpassed customer satisfaction. A couple of weeks before the cockroach incident I was in the area and hungry. I had five cars in front of me and it was over twenty five minutes before I was on my way. The first thing I noticed was that my order was incomplete. I didn't have the time to return and have my order straightened out. The chicken strips were so oily that there were a few teaspoons of oil underneath it in the container. The wings were limp and rubbery, French fries oily and soggy. I love slim chickens. However, I'm giving this place three stars only because there are a lot of things that they could improve. A lot of times there are long wait lines, you get the wrong items or don't get all the items ordered AT ALL. When ordering with doordash or through the app, you can choose to have the chicken with "shaken flavor" but if you go through the drive through, they say that they don't do that, which is weird. I enjoy the taste of the food overall, but the customer service and the service in general should improve. read more

And in the few weeks since the upper management left town, the quality of the restaurant itself and the eating experience has gone downhill. The french fries get left out and then double fried, the pickles get over salted, and the mushrooms come to your table cold. We had to clean out our own booth even though the place was not busy. They obviously are not being cleaned in between guests nor have the floors. The napkin dispenser at our table was completely empty. When we went to get drinks the Coke machine was completely out on both nozzles, and when I let them know the person I spoke to just rolled her eyes and walked away. Even after the hype died down, still took a half hour for my food to get done, I had a car of four people to feed, not a whole lot to make given that it supposed to be a fast food chicken establishment. I normally don't review restaurants but this is terrible business. I ordered from Grubhub and waited for my food no problem. My driver was at the restaurant and they issued out the wrong food and told her they couldn't remake it. Grubhub reimbursed the payment but that will not show up until five days later. I have never thought I would see the day a restaurant would not remake a order because they gave it to the wrong person that didn't even pay for it. The drive for Grubhub even told me they argued with her. The staff is always nice and courteous, the chicken fingers are always super fresh and super hot, and the french fries are awesome as well! I usually go through the driveway but I thought today I would test out the app and order online. I ordered my food while sitting in the parking lot of Lowe's which connects to their parking lot. By the time I drove over, parked, and walked inside, my food was ready! Once again another really sweet staff member helped me out and handed me my food. Usually it's drinks or dessert, but this last time we ordered a 2-person meal, drinks, okra, and 2 cheesecake desserts. We were missing the chicken, toast, okra, and drinks. They have the best chicken tenders I usually order them 20 or more each visit but twice now I have ordered a chicken sandwich with no pickles and both times I received a chicken sandwich that they had removed the pickles from, and refried the chicken! and then placed it back on the same bun after wiping off the condiments! And nothing was added back no mayo no lettuce ...and I can still taste the pickles!!!! Uuugghhhh ! very very frustrating! But I have to say that they're not the only place that does this! People!
