We had an appointment on Sanibel Island to have our sliders looked at for late May. They called us about three weeks before and said that they were in our same complex on that day and could move the appointment up if desired. So we said yes. The gentleman showed up and gave us a bid which seemed very high so I told him I needed to think about it. He came back 10 minutes later and said that the office was making him charge us a visitation fee of about $130. For maybe a 10 minute assessment. The other unit they were looking at about four doors down (which was their purpose for being there anyway) also got the same visitation assessment. Talk about double dipping. And they called us to move the appointment up we didn't call them. Would not recommend. read more

I called them to fix my sliding glass door and they came out when they said they would, fixed it for $20 more than they quoted over the phone (but told me the total before they started so I knew before they charged me), and it's better than new. They were in and out in an hour and they did a great job. My only "complaint" is they were booked solid when I called them so it took them almost a month between when I called and when they came out, but they told me that up front. SliderMan really books up, so call as soon as you are having issues so you can get your appointment scheduled. My appointment was 2 weeks out, but they had technicians in my area and were able to come out early and take care of it. I used them 3 or 4 years ago on my back door sliders. I couldn't even open my doors because the wheels were so messed up. They came out and in less than one hour they removed all my doors and installed new wheels and cleaned the track. Still opens with one finger! This company is a Rip Off. They came out and they looked at a slider and said it needed a new track and rollers. The came out and then said they could only repair the track. I paid over $1000,00 for a new track not 2 section of sheet metal and silicone.The door works horrible and they got very angry and would not do anything about the proper repair. We also asked them to check 2 other doors and they refused. We later ordered a new door and they told us the company that made our door was out of business for 10 years. These people are just out to hack and run. I have been in construction for 40 year and I have never seen anyone do such POOR. Work and be so unwilling to do what they agreed to do. I cannot be more grateful for the service I received from Jose and Adam, 2 specialist that took my 23 year old patio doors and made them brand new again. This is a great company. We had one door that was hard to open. Thought we might need new rollers so I called for an appointment. It was going to be three weeks out. I asked to be put on a wait list if there was a cancellation. Later that same day there was an opening and two very nice young men came to look at our door. After evaluating the situation they determined we just needed an adjustment, not a complete overhaul. Their honesty and knowledge was very impressive. I highly recommend this company. I should really give them one star because I didn't get what I paid for! If you watch what these guys do you start to think about why so much money. Your paying mostly labor and I would be fine with that if I got what I paid for. Track and rollers is what I got and I imagine is what everyone gets. They joke about not cleaning the windows when they're finished but when you think about it, for the money they really should! Day one they didn't really open with ease as expected but they (I had two sliders done) were definitely better. After they told me that W-D 40 does nothing to help the doors slide they told me to us it on the frame of the door where it was still sticking, (original problem) A couple of weeks later I called them back because we were not happy with the outcome. They came. And they came with attitude. Blamed it on the age and makers of the doors and said that they only warranty "their parts" not the door itself or some such BS. I'm still fighting to open my doors. read more
