Devin doors installed a new door with full glass. The price was apx $2700. Everything was great until we cleaned the inside pane of glass after painting. There are 5 detectable cuts on the glass. We don't know how they happened, but seems obvious it was in the manufacturing or assembly process. A representative from Devin came and looked and suggested they'd replace the glass. We told him we did not want to go to that extent as it would be so expensive for the company and a huge inconvenience for us. Instead, we suggested they discount the door as long as the scratches did not affect the integrity of the glass. He assured us the integrity was fine. He said he'd go back and speak with the owner and they'd get back to us. A couple of weeks went by and we finally heard from the owner. He basically said too bad. They missed something, and they try very hard not to, it this was just the way it was. He offered us $100 for compensation! Really?? We went from possible door replacement to $100?? I wrote back and told him I thought 10% would be fair for what amounts to a factory second. That's been a month ago and never received a response to our counter offer. And, yes the scratches are visible... Don't use this company as. I have no idea if they'd stand behind their product for any reason, or even give you the courtesy of a discussion. read more

We really enjoyed meeting with Devin, he is an expert, very consultative, and made great suggestions to help me decide what to pick so the glass would look like it belonged with the style of our home. Debbie also helped me pick the perfect opaque glass for the door to our bathroom that exits to our lanai. This is a family business and everyone is so nice! After telling a sales person our limited budget, my husband and I were taken into a back room where we were shown a beautiful door insert that had previously been on display. We fell in love with it and were told because it had been a display, it was severely discounted. When the sales person started writing up the invoice, I noticed she wrote on it "As is". Hmmm. I should have gone back and inspected the glass for defects but I didn't. When the glass was installed 5-6 weeks later, my husband immediately noticed there was what looked like a break on the bottom left side of the insert. Though we got this insert at about half price, we still paid over $500 with the $90 installation fee, which to us is a lot of money. I called the store and told the sales person our problem, and she said she would have Devin call us. It's been more than a week, and we never heard back. Bottom line is inspect your insert THOROUGHLY if you buy an insert "as is" because you will have no recourse whatsoever otherwise. read more

Amazing service. The office staff was friendly and Devin helped me pick out the perfect doors for our home. We ordered them on Wednesday. Luckily they were in stock so they received them on Friday and they were installed at our home Monday. Nicholas was quick and cleaned up after himself. We love our doors. This place is appalling! I wish you could give minus stars!!! We paid for a new impact glass front door on February 6th and we've yet to get our door! We had to keep calling them and all they kept saying was it was back ordered. We finally got a delivery for April 7 and the guy who came said I know it isn't an impact glass but was going to install it until the right one came in? I told him I didn't understand what was going on and he said didn't they tell you that? NO!!!!! I call and they say, oh we were busy so didn't have time to tell you it wasn't the impact glass. What really got me was they were upset I wouldn't accept it? REALLY!!! Today the guy showed up and had our old door off for over an hour so we went out to see what was going on and he told us the impact glass was broken! It had a huge crack all down the middle. What, they don't inspect their merchandise before delivery? Again, nobody called to acknowledge anything so I had to call them and the receptionist said someone will get back to you. About 2 hours later we got an email saying they would give us a refund. What is wrong with this company! I guess they don't care about their customers since they treated us like we didn't matter. I would never purchase anything from Devin Doors and suggest you don't unless you want to waste your time and money! I can't believe they are still in business! !!!! read more
