They came to our house offering a free quote (sales pitch). We told them we would be replacing 13…read morewindows. He measured 1 window and then started his pitch. He started saying that if we went somewhere else we would be expecting to pay about $28k, but if we booked with him in that moment he could do it for $17k. I had a bad feeling about it so I asked if we could sit on the quote until Friday to think about it. He then went down to $14,750, saying if we booked it right then and there we would get that "discount". I still said no we need until Friday. Fast-forward to me getting a quote from Octagon Windows and Doors in Abita Springs and they said it would be about $8k for all of the windows, including swapping out 2 side by side windows for one large picture window. He also took the time to measure each individual window. Thank goodness we did not go with Ecoview and I would not recommend them to anyone. They rely on you not knowing how much it should cost and they use scammy sales tactics to get you to buy. Gross!

We had a sales rep come out the beginning of November 2025 after looking for new doors to replace…read moreour current set of french doors. We wound up saying we were interested and asked for the replacement of 3 sets of doors. It was not until around Christmas that someone finally showed up to take measurements and place the order for a grand total of about $23K or $7.5k a door which was quite steep. We signed a few papers and the rep just left. We received no copies of the contract, no receipt, no documentation, nothing. The entire month of January goes by and we haven't heard a peep from EcoView about the doors. We did hear from a collections about multiple missed payments from GreenSky (their financing partner) though! Apparently, they charge a 50% deposit up front with a 12.99% interest rate the day you place the order. This was never disclosed to us by the rep that we worked with, and since we received absolutely *no* documentation or copies of the contract (Still haven't despite me calling the company and asking multiple times) we weren't even aware. Finally, February 20th comes around and they come out to deliver the doors. Not only were they the wrong color, but every door was 6 inches too tall. After days of back and forth with the company they finally admitted that the doors were the wrong size and said that was due to a "minimum size set by the manufacturers". This was never discussed with me prior to delivery nor did I agree to anything other than the dimensions taken by the rep back in December. I was told that at this point they could not cancel the order and I would be paying a 50% restocking fee - despite this being no fault of my own and EcoView's own mistake. The only option, according to EcoView would be to alter my home's wall, and replace over 200 feet of trim and siding along 2 entire walls of floor-to-ceiling windows that the doors sits between, as well as modify the frame to account for the new height. Absolutely NOT. After more days of back and forth and complaints, they finally agreed to fix the color and trim down the door the the actual dimensions of the doors I ordered and ask the manufacturer to rush order it. It is now the middle of March and I *STILL* have not received my doors - something I am still currently paying for with no product.

A complete nightmare - we were scammed…read more We had the worst experience with EcoView Windows of New Orleans and would never recommend them to anyone. We feel completely scammed and have received no help from either the local office or corporate. We hired EcoView after being told by their rep that full window replacement was the only solution for our leaking windows and that their product came with a lifetime warranty. Based on those promises, we paid $8,740 for six new windows. After the installation in June 2024, two of the new windows at began immediately leaking, just like the old ones. Multiple attempts to fix the issue failed. The windows still leak when it rains, damaging our belongings. Then the local dealer, ghosted us - only to later say EcoView told him to cease operations. Since then, corporate has done nothing to help. They've bounced us around to other dealers who won't assist without charging us more money. We've tried everything to get this resolved - calls, emails, even legal notices. No one will take responsibility. No one will help. If you're thinking about using EcoView, don't. You'll be left with leaking windows, a huge bill, and zero customer support. Stay far away.

I kicked up a stone with the weed wacker and broke the glass in my back door. Tom did a great job…read morereplacing it. Very nice guy. He responded quickly and stayed in good communication throughout the process. He came out to measure the glass and order the replacement. Then it took a while for the new glass to come in, but he kept me updated until it arrived. The installation was quick and very well done. Pricing seemed fair considering the materials involved and the level of service. I hope I won't need him again, but I won't hesitate to call him if I do. Highly recommended.

I will continue to let people know his team incorrectly installed my windows and did not make it right. Instead of a tempered glass window in my bathroom, I have one in my garage so if something happens to my 1 or 7 year old, the lawsuit to follow will be FAR worse than this yelp review. Buyer beware.
