Honestly, this alone is worth a visit and to me was the star of my food experience here. For my main I ordered the beef and lamb gyro platter. Sometimes lamb can be a little gamey but not this lamb. It was slow cooked for 48hr to achieve a deep garlicky flavor that was just decadent. The meet was tender and the rice fresh and the right ratio of sticky but firm. Finally I ended with the baklava. Flakey crunchy and sweet. This was a classic way to end a Mediterranean meal and it did not disappoint. While this place is in a strip mall, do not let the location fool you. The inside is tastefully decorated in an elegant understated way. The service was top tier. Our waiter was attentive, talked to us about the dishes we ordered, and had a genuine friendliness to him. If you are looking for Mediterranean food or just to try something new, I would highly recommend that you check out this spot.

We had dinner here a few nights ago, we ordered shawarma and baba ghanoush. First, the waitstaff…read moreasked if we wanted "thick or thin" pita for the shawarma. Huh? We ordered thick not knowing that "thin" meant saj - why didn't she say SAJ??? There were an abundance of pickles in the shawarma, too many!! There was no creamy garlic sauce in it either. The whole thing fell apart. The baba was just weird. It was not a good, creamy consistency, but rather chunks of cooked eggplant, with chopped veggies. No smokey flavor at all. I thought different Middle East regions would have different versions of food, but this version was pretty bad. Meanwhile, the man who must have been the owner kept jumping up and talking. I thought, just shut up and learn how to make food. As far as decor, the place was decorated with "out of the book" decor that had no authenticity to Middle East ambience.

5 Stars - Lazeez Fresh Mediterranean Grill - Worth Every Bite!…read moreJust had one of the best Mediterranean meals I've had in a long time at Lazeez Fresh, and honestly, it's the kind of spot that makes you want to come back the next day. The owner himself came out after I finished eating and we had a nice little chat--he was telling me how his two sons are now working with him, which was really cool to hear. You can tell the family runs this place with heart, and it shows in the food. * Chicken Shawarma: Loaded--seriously, no skimping here. Piles of juicy, perfectly seasoned chicken, not the sad half-wraps you get elsewhere. And the fact it's served in puffy pita bread instead of those thin tortillas most places use? Game-changer. Tasted fresh and authentic. * Baba Ghanoush: Super fresh, creamy, and came with warm pita chips and bread on the side. Perfect balance, not too garlicky or oily. * Tabbouleh: Exactly how my grandma used to make it--bright, herby, lots of parsley and fresh tomato, lemony without being sour. Spot on. * Namorah (2 pieces): Chef's kiss. Moist, not dry like some versions, sweet but not overpowering, just the right texture. Finished them way too fast. Everything felt homemade and made with care. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the vibe is welcoming. This is the kind of place you tell your friends about. Would love to come back but was just passing through for work--highly recommend Thanks to the owner Adnan and the sons for the great food and the chat--keep doing what you're doing! They do catering TOO!!!!

He welcomed everyone in and was just very kind. I got the beef shawarma salad and falafels. I always try to get falafels wherever I am just to compare. The beef had a spice I am not familiar with. Everything was decent. We even got complimentary dessert - some coconut squares.
