I would call during business hours and the call never went to a real person no matter what time of day. Eventually (days later sometimes) I would get a call back. I wanted to have a dental device made for sleep apnea. Seems pretty simple but I had the hardest time scheduling an appointment. WHen I finally did talk with someone they said I needed to have a sleep study first and then I could make an appointment. Lame. Will never go to this business again. The CPAP machine didn't work for me (bloating, cramping from swallowed air, waking up when turning over due to hose, etc.), so I decided to try a dental appliance. DSAC was on the list of certified, recommended providers and the research that I did online decided me on Dr. Valachi's clinic. I am so pleased that I made this choice of apnea treatment and doctor. The level of care and kindness at DSAC is exemplary. Dr. Valachi is professional, knowledgeable, thorough, precise, and understanding. At the initial appt the mechanics of using a dental appliance for apnea and the options for appliances were fully explained. The level of detail in the sizing of the appliance was thorough, and when it arrived, the attention to detail in the fitting made me even more confident that this would work. And it did! I have had a follow-up overnight sleep test in the lab and the dental appliance virtually eliminated my apnea episodes. I cannot recommend Dr. Valachi and all of the staff at the DSAC highly enough. One-year follow-up appt was also conducted in a caring, thorough manner. I am sleeping much better, without the bulky inconvenience of a CPAP machine and I have Dr. Valachi and the DSAC to thank. I should mention, also, that the billing for their services was fully explained and they took care of all interactions with the insurance company that I have.

Not only did Camilla & Atika take the time to get to know our baby and tailor our training plan to her personality, but they were always there to answer questions via text or phone call. That level of support was so helpful - even if you know what to do, there are plenty of curveballs and emotional ups and downs, and having two knowledgeable people to turn to made a world of difference for us. Our baby used to need to be held during naps, and required a lot of rocking/bouncing whenever she woke up at night. She is now 5 months old and sleeps beautifully at night and during her naps. The training gave her the space to learn to self soothe without a ton of crying - Camilla & Atika made sure we were comfortable with the method, and encouraged us throughout the process. Sleep training is a process and the results don't happen overnight, but with Atika & Camilla's help, we were able to give our baby a solid sleep foundation that's benefited the whole family!
