I like the fact it is close by. It is located close to Costco in south Happy Valley. I have had a few issues as they do not have a huge repair staff. In the long run they do a very good job. If you want a company that honors its "quick and easy" return policy (as they state online) or knows their own inventory, look elsewhere. My doctor referred me and while the initial setup was fine, everything fell apart within the first two weeks. My initial mask was uncomfortable and irritated my face. When I went back for a refitting, the technician told me I only had two other options: another type of mask (which was uncomfortable) or a cushion for my existing mask. I explicitly asked if there were any other choices, and he said no so I settled with the cushion mask. After a week of more restless sleep, I discovered another mask style that would be perfect. When I called, they told me I would have to pay $160 out of pocket. The technician apologized and told me he just "didn't think about it" during my appointment. I escalated the issue to management, but they refused to make it right, even though the error was entirely due to their technician's oversight. They told me to wait 3 months when I was eligible for another mask, but I still would have to pay for the headgear. Getting in touch with this company is an exhausting chore. You can never get through, so you have to leave a VM. Sometimes you get a response. When I finally threatened to return the machine and go elsewhere, I was passed around from department to department for hours just trying to find someone who knew how to handle a return. Ironically, their website claims they make returns "quick and easy"--what a joke. If you wind up using this company, the single bright spot in this entire ordeal is John in the Supplies department. Every month we pay the bill on time and twice a month -- ALWAYS on the same day! -- we get threatening voice messages that say "Our records indicate you have an unpaid balance and we've made numerous attempts to contact you for payment. Unless we hear from you immediately, your account may be placed with an outside collection agency." So I gotta chase them down. I'm on hold forever. They say we're all paid up. The current service quality is poor.I have not been able to get help on my long established SleepTech account. I have reported I need a replacement strap for my CPAP's headgear but keep hitting a brick wall with the Service Coordinator. I've submitted photos of what I've received but to no avail. I've asked to speak to a supervisor but to no avail. My CPAP is medically prescribed but I am being denied a part I need - I feel like I'm being blackmailed by a Service Cordinator. They have dropped their Snap online order ok f system. Can't log in to their new on-line bill pay. Called twice to get help with bill pay logon and was on hold for over 20 minutes. Finally Left messages on 2 different days requesting a call back. Never received a call back. Billing is poor and ordering leaves a-lot to be desired. They didn't start out this way but have really gone downhill the last 6 months or so. Can't recommend them for any of your CPap supplies or services. read more

This company over supplies you (even with complaints) and then charges your health insurance company and you demanding payment for supplies you don't need yet. I am meticulous about changing out supplies in a timely manner yet have enough specific supplies for two years! They did not correct this issue when I brought it up although they said it would be fixed. The message they left me demanding payment gave me a bad number for calling them back. When I did speak with "May" in billing she was not helpful at all and would not take ownership of this unethical practice stating I could talk with someone in supplies (this was not fixed the year prior!). She did say that if I was overstocked I could send the supplies back within 30 days. This puts the onus on me to correct the problem instead of on them to supply me correctly and Bill my health insurance company and me correctly. I told May I could never recommend their company and would not be a customer there anymore. When I told May I wanted written documentation that the contract with me is done, she put me off and would not comply. She said she would make a notation in my record. I let her know I wanted written proof that this contract is done but again she would not comply. Do NOT use this company. The absolute worst cpap resupply company. They have you submit orders online. No confirmation of receipt given. After 1 1/2 weeks, stopped by local office to ask about order. Was told there was a problem with insurance info. Funny, it's the same insurance used for last 10 years. After 2 1/2 weeks still no info on order received either via text or email. Called in. On hold for 20 minutes. Told one of the 6 items not in stock at one of the distribution centers, so they were holding entire order. Why didn't they advise me of that and ship what they had and back order the missing item? Person I spoke with in The Philippines was nice and helpful. He said he would redirect order to other DC, which had the items and get everything shipped. Do I think everything is resolved? Absolutely not! In the 10+ years I've purchased supplies from them, they've gone from pretty good, to so-so, to bad, to the worst. Every change they have made puts more distance between the consumer and a human being on their end. Their systems are focused on cost reductions at the expense of customer service. Their interface between their office techs, supply reorder dept. and shipping dept. is non existent. I've been a customer of Sleep Technologies for several years and have had problems with them charging me for items I have not ordered nor received, as well as a problem with an order from Dec 2023- it's now November 2024- that was processed as a service date of Jan 2nd when it should have been processed as the order date. I've had multiple interactions with them over this including a conference call with my insurance company where they told them to resubmit it with the Order date vs ship date and they did resubmit it with the same incorrect date. After months of emails back and forth they told me they couldn't do that. I've not ordered from them since Jan yet almost every month I receive small charges for things I never ordered nor received. It may just be a tubing mask issue, but when I contacted Sleep Technologies, they set up an appointment to troubleshoot the problem, but the day before the appointment, cancelled it stating they don't troubleshoot the Air Mini. I'm left with a spendy machine that is too loud to use other than in a very loud factory or next to a jet engine..... If you purchase something from them and have issues with it, contact them (if you can get a hold of someone at Customer Service), get it serviced right away! I am extremely disappointed with this company and would advise others to stay far away. My mother's oxygen machine was constantly beeping and malfunctioning, with no apparent reason for the issues. It took months for a technician to come out and replace it, and when he did, he acted inappropriately by hitting on me and giving me his personal phone number. To make matters worse, we discovered mold in the internal filter of the old machine, and the new one didn't even have a filter. Additionally, her portable machine was damaged in a fall and had numerous issues, including a faulty battery and difficulty adjusting the settings. The company convinced her to sign a 5-year contract promising a new portable machine, but it took two years for them to deliver on that promise. This unethical behavior is unacceptable and is likely impacting my mother's health. I am furious and will be looking for a new company to provide her with the care she deserves. If i could give negative 0 stars I would. 90% of my interaction with this company has been at best annoying, and at worst, fraudulent. If your sleep doctor in Portland tries to refer you here, ASK FOR A DIFFERENT DME!! So here's what's happened to me: Getting the right mask and cushion was a pain. They would send me to an office location for a mask fitting, only to be told by that location "we don't do mask fittings here." After finally getting one, I found out later that they'd put me into THE WRONG SIZE frame AND cushion. Even after I got the right size cushion figured out, when it was time for new supplies, they'd send me the wrong size cushions. But the biggest issue has been billing. I was prescribed the CPAP and supplies in summer of 2022. in winter of 2022, I was leaving the state and thus losing my insurance, and I was concerned about whether I'd be able to keep my CPAP machine. So I called Care Oregon, my insurance, and asked if my machine was paid in full or a rental. I was assured it had been paid for in full the previous summer, so I didn't have to worry. So imagine my surprise when the following spring I got a bill from Sleep Technologies for rental charges after my Care Oregon coverage ended. I immediately called Care Oregon and was again told that the machine and initial supplies had been paid for, in full, when I had gotten them the previous summer. So, Sleep Technologies was double billing me and Care Oregon. It's now winter 2023 and I'm still fighting Sleep Technologies to get them to stop billing me for equipment they've already been paid for. Care Oregon continues to contend that Sleep Technologies has been paid in full for the CPAP machine. When i obtain documentation of this payment I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. read more

This place is the worst. I originally rented my CPAP from them a year and a half ago, during the shortage, because they were the only company that had one in stock. Every appointment, bill, mask fitting, etc. has been awful. Most recently, the tech at my sleep doctor's office noticed that my machine was broken & sent me back to Sleep Tech for a warranty repair. The clinician at Sleep Tech told me it wasn't broken, but she could sent it in anyway. All while being unpleasant and condescending. I was recommended to this company by Pacific sleep program and I can honestly say I would never recommend them to anyone. I purchased my machine at 100% verified multiple times through my insurance company and almost a year later they are still billing me for a rental that I have already purchased at 100%. Up until this point I have called multiple times and have not had the issue resolved. If you ask me this is theft because I have already paid for the product they continue to bill me for and they have continued to take money that isn't theirs. Sleep Technologies have outsourced their phone support to somewhere in the Philippines. This wouldn't necessarily be bad, but the people in the Philippines don't know anything. I called three times last week to ask when they thought my replacement CPAP machine for the recall would be delivered and which kind of machine it would be. I got three different mutually incompatible answers. I was promised a call back from someone local here in Oregon, but that never happened. It's impossible to get through their phone menu to talk to someone local who might actually know something. The workers in the Philippines are not given enough information to answer questions. Their training seems to have emphasized trying to get the caller to feel good about the call even though no help was provided. Sleep Technologies used to be a good and responsive company. But apparently they have decided to sacrifice good customer support for increased profits. I went there innocently with a complete printed and signed (wet signature) Rx for my CPAP equipment as I recently moved to this area. They asked for previous records, I obtained them, scanned as *.pdf to CD/DVD and personally delivered them. That took several trips as they have a strong lunch break, closed. I am no longer a client here, because LOANN is flat out an idiot. I was called "abusive". Want to know why? I live in a building off of a busy street and we have theft of our mail, even from within the building, people have stolen packages. A VERY SIMPLE REQUEST to LOANN, was to send me a tracking number the DAY IT WAS BEING SHIPPED. I don't know about you, but that isn't a difficult request much less a hard task to perform, but for LOANN it simply was. Mind blowing, that that woman can function without falling into manholes or eating poisonous bugs. The stupid bitch was useless. Yes LOANN you're fucking useless! Tracking numbers would sometimes come days AFTER a package came, and depending on the size a lot of times the packages could fit into my apartment mailbox. Other times they did not fit into my mailbox were the times the packages were left and they were stolen and I had NO awareness they were arriving because LOANN couldn't seem to pull her head out of her ass and follow one simple request: give a heads up with a fucking tracking number BEFORE a goddamn package is mailed (really LOANN how hard is it, you dipshit?) I finally lost it when a package was stolen and was told I would have to pay for it. I called my insurance and told them to find me someone else because LOANN can't do her job to save her life and yet ANOTHER package of my mine was stolen and (wait I get to say it again!) that stupid bitch LOANN didn't send me a tracking number (anyone seeing a pattern here? I sure as fuck am!) and my insurance said they would take care of it. A couple weeks later, my refills have been resent. By Fedex this time with simple instructions, to NOT leave the package by (you guessed it) LOANN herself. By this time, LOANN has contacted me because she wants me to remove a Facebook review I left about this company. Since of course LOANN is unprofessional, she has no idea how tacky that is, and also pretty much against a lot of review site policies and I told her (then) that she was lucky I hadn't come on here yet. So because I was pissed at the lack of work LOANN did for me as a customer, and told her so when I was pissed. I was considered an abusive customer and they dropped me. Just think it would have never gotten this far, if LOANN had actually just done her job. It's not like she's a rocket scientist, she's an idiot in front of a computer working with warehouse people. Getting a better Understanding what and what is not covered by insurance is challenging. The equipment replenishment costs are full retail+ and can easily be beat online. Horrible company! In September of 2021 I was given a prescription fora new CPAP and mask. Prescription was sent to Sleep Technologies on September 16. I heard nothing for several weeks, finally called and was told they had no CPAPs in stock but would get some soon and would call. I called again in November,December and January and got the same song and dance. They called this week to say it was in stock and would be shipped out. The unit finally arrived yesterday...SIX MONTHS LATER! But it gets worse. The order included a mask. I told the rep over the phone SEVERAL TIMES that I need a nasal mask, not a full face mask. Guess what they sent me? Yep, full face. I am now going through the process of straightening this out, awaiting the correct mask. It's very frustrating since nobody who answers the phone speaks good English and language is a problem. Not racist, but when it comes to health clear communication is important.
