If they…read morehad, we would have been roaming around spending money and checking out furniture, rather than waiting in a crazy line for 45 minutes. Not to mention that it was tax-free weekend - missed opportunity for them. While we waited in line, other people just walked in the door because they only had 1 person scanning tickets at a time. No one was watching the actual door. Then, when you go in, they forced you to sit in the middle of the row (and each row was looooooooooooong!), so we were in the smack middle of a row, and the rows are tight, so you can't easily move from that part of the row. We had to inconvenience 30+ people to get in-and-out of the rows, and people weren't nice about it. We got concessions and were told that there would be free refills, but then once you get into the theater, they said, actually concessions will close 15 minutes after the movie started. And the movie is 3 hours, but there is literally no way you could actually use the restroom during the show -- people would kill you if you had to walk in front of 30+ people, so I didn't even enjoy the concessions because I couldn't sip my drink. And exiting, they had one door open - safety hazard. I don't recommend seeing the movie in IMAX here. They're not prepared for the volume.

Hang on a minute...how has it taken me this long to find this place? We just got back from Gardner…read moremattress after thinking we were going to "just start looking," and we pulled the trigger within an hour of searching in the store. The salesman was so kind, and when we initially thought we were going to leave and take a while to think about it, he was not pushy at all but instead gave us a price quote offering a small discount. We are pretty independent shoppers, just going by what we like and feel, but we had some questions about the types of foam and he explained the differences in a straightforward way. From his calm approach to the sales process, we decided to stay a little longer and lay on a few more beds -- sure enough, we found the perfect one. I honestly am blown away by such a pleasant shopping experience. I liken mattress shopping to used car shopping: slimy and yucky, but not here. We left with a full bed set: pillows, mattress cover, mattress, and box spring for less than the crappy "bed in a box" that we were actually thinking about getting, just to keep the price down. We are SO pleased. I am assuming the delivery and sleeping experience will be wonderful, but I will update accordingly if there are any additions. Oh, and it is a huge plus for us to see that their mattress covers, pillows, and mattresses are all made in the US -- the mattresses right in Salem, MA. Each mattress has a nice tag indicating this. Great to support local business. Come here! DON'T buy a Casper or any of those other annoying ones on Facebook ads. And for heavens sake don't go to Jordans. This place is wonderful. I don't think they are big on the social media, which is probably why it took us so long to stumble upon them. Go now!!!

I am surprised that I never reviewed Bob's. I've actually been purchasing furniture here for the…read morelast two decades. I have to say that they have an excellent selection and they stand by their products. In the past, I have purchased living room sets, dining room sets, and miscellaneous items from the store. All the times that I have entered this location. All the staff seems to be very helpful and polite, not pushy. don't let you roam around. Sit on everything lay down on the couch, etc. and enjoy your visit. They also provide snacks down in the back. There's ice cream and candy does come in handy if not alone. I would like to state one story about their warrantees, which I highly suggest you purchase. One of my purchases was a white leather living room set.. It was a rather large expensive set. it included a large sectional and I added to living room cheers and three Ottomans as I had a huge living room. I had this furniture for approximately four years and to my surprise the sectional on the backside started to peel. I was very surprised about this and I contacted them about replacement as I did purchase the warranty. I spent almost $400 on the warranty which most of my friends thought I was crazy. I'm a big fan of extended plans. Anyway, while I was speaking to Bob's customer service on the phone and requesting someone coming and take a look at my furniture as I wanted to put in a warranty claim to either repair it or replace it. I was informed that they no longer had this leather living room available and that they were not doing repairs on that model any longer. I found myself in a funny position when I asked what can you do for me? They said we can give you a refund so I readily agreed. When my refund came in the mail now mind you I still had all the furniture they didn't want to come get it. They didn't even come in inspect it which I couldn't believe. I thought they were gonna be sending me a partial refund of some sort however they sent me a refund in the form of store credit for over $4000.. yes they refunded me for my entire purchase the cheers the Ottomans and the warranty. Unless I fall in love with a piece of furniture somewhere else, I will always drop at Bob's. Now back to the basic review they have a very very large parking area so you will always get a spot. It's directly on route one so it's. And they have a great selection of furniture for any room or decor. Now when you go in if you like a couch or chair, they actually have different colors. You can order them in even though you don't see it displayed so make sure you speak to the sales person. They have a finance program positive, but I see it advertised when I walk around. Definitely consider Furniture.

We had it returned, and then when the replacement arrived the delivery people found a hole in the mattress so didn't even bring it in (which makes sense). Then, when the replacement was supposed to be delivered, they had one not in a box like the first one had come, so they couldn't get it up our stairwell. So we had to call Customer Service and explain, and have them come a fourth time with the product in a box. THEN the delivery people wouldn't take the old mattress away, so we had to schedule yet another visit so another contractor could pick it up and get rid of it. So: beware, and communicate carefully about what you want, whether the mattress needs to be in a box to fit up the stairs, etc.

AITA? After doing a little bit of internet searching for a…read morecarpet cleaner I found K-A Carpet. I saw on Yelp they were running an offer for $50 to get $100 credit on service. I went on their website and decided just to book through their website as I like supporting local businesses, especially if they invested in an online presence. Some background: I moved from South of Boston to North of Boston, and my new place wasn't so new and needs some cleaning before I move-in. I talked with the owner who said when they get their carpets cleaned they are usually charged for three rooms for the place, so I assumed it would be equivalent to 400 square feet. I also wanted to clean the tile/grout from the kitchen and bathroom - at least the places where foot traffic was, so I figured for the bathroom would be 25 square feet and the kitchen about 50 square feet. Thus, I put in for 75 square feet of tile/grout cleaning. Okay, so I add those services and pick a day that the owner of the unit would be there prior to my arrival. I pay the $60 down-payment to confirm the online order. I sent the owner cash to pay, with $65 extra in case of any overages or in case they do a wonderful job and feel the need to tip $20. The day comes, I receive a call from the tech at 12:06pm who is doing the service when they arrived on location. I let the tech know that I'm not on-location but the person there is opening up the garage for them now and that I left cash as payment for their services with him when thee services are complete. And at that time he told me that the garage door was opening and he was greeted by the owner. Minor issue 1: I received a call from the owner at 12:08pm saying that the tech requested the full bill to include what I paid in the down-payment and wanted to verify if I paid anything up-front. I then pulled up the email and credit card online statement to be sure that I was charged the down-payment and told them that I did in-fact pay the down-payment of $60, and the due at completion would be the remainder balance of the invoice. So, what was up with the tech not knowing how much to collect? Or was that a tactic just to get more money when he knew he wasn't dealing with the person paying the bill? Sure, could be an innocent blunder not looking at invoice very closely. But that got solved. I get to the location the following day and talk with the owner who informed me that they liked the carpet cleaning service, but didn't like the chemical or perfume in the cleaner as it made him cough. I looked around and the carpets were cleaned decently enough. Could I have cleaned it the same or better with a rug doctor mighty pro or bissell big green machine rental - yes. I then as about the tile in the bathroom or kitchen as I also expected the bathroom or kitchen to be done as I paid for 75 square feet of that too, but was told that they didn't. The owner then handed me back $60, indicating he thought the tech only deserved a $5 tip. I asked if they mentioned anything about the tile or grout cleaning service, to which the owner said no. I then reached out for support using text messaging to see what K-A's side of the story was at 9:54am. And after a phone conversation at 10:29am, they informed me that the space was larger than anticipated, and when they spoke with the person at the property they got "no response," however, if they were wrong they could reschedule to come back. The part I thought was strange is the "no response" because I got a call when the amount due was in question... Why didn't I also get a call here, either from the tech or the owner saying something isn't adding up. I can understand if there was a miscommunication on the exact dimensions of the space, so I voiced my thoughts, which verbatim are "I'll check and get back to you. If you don't hear back from me everything is ok." I get the space measured, and turns out that yes the measurements were a little off, but according KA's own ordering/scheduling system was a difference in price of $50 if they charged exact amount of carpet space plus 100 square feet for the actual 105 square feet tile/grout. Or a difference in price of $77.50 if they charged 125 square feet for the 105 actual square feet of the tile/grout. The owner had enough to cover $65 in case this exact thing happens. And you would think a reasonable person would accept $15 for an extra 5 square feet of space, instead of the 90c per square foot they charge in the 25-sq.ft.block billing. Or could have just said it was 100 square feet and pocketed the rest as a tip. I bring this information back via text messaging and get told that they would be happy to schedule tile and grout cleaning for $250. Also that I'm entitled to a $12.50 refund as that is the difference between what I paid and what services I received. Me: Why didn't the tech contact me like they did earlier if they had a concern with size/scope of job? "If the person on-site couldn't make a decision, that would be more
