SLEEP, glorious SLEEP! We decided there was no time like NOW to set up a consistent routine and work with the amazing, kind, brilliant, caring Sara of Sleepably to help our guy Samuel My 2 1/2 year old little guy was waking up between 3-5 am and coming into my bed to nurse and do nursing gymnastics on me for hours. We would end up having my husband get up at 5 am or earlier after he just wouldn't settle or go back in his crib - we were so tired! He's got a big personality - he was a tiny cannon ball at times, The lack of sufficient sleep made him easily overtired or frustrated daily at certain times.... and we thought we did so well with naps and sleep schedules! (We did compared to big sister!) He was ok with my husband putting him to bed at night but was nearly impossible for me to get him to sleep alone- talking 2+ hour ordeal.... all of this started to get really hard to manage- I know I neeeeed my sleep and I suspected Sam needed more too... enter Sara and her wizardry! ‍ With guidance and consistency we've made nighttime routine go from struggle to smooth... and he's learning when morning time vs. middle of the night actually is - is: staying in bed resting happily until 6:30 not 3 am we thought maybe he was outgrowing his nap but it turns out we had timing way off- he's like literal clockwork right now and it's just beautiful! Things I didn't expect... His language is exploding, he's eating better, less acting out, more focused & creative and he just seems happier in his own skin. Oh and I can help him to bed all by myself It's pretty incredible the number of lightbulb moments we've had realizing little tweaks in our timing make such a huge difference, and how does Sara who has never actually met Sam know exactly what he needs for nap timing, bed time, strategies that are loving and gentle but consistent and firm when needed... she knows and understands development and what kids need biologically and emotionally- it's been AMAZING!!! Game-changer, life-changer, for not just our sweet little sleeper, but for us too! Rebecca and the Sleepably crew have done such an amazing job of providing additional resources and information pertaining to the WHY behind their sleep plans, guidance and support, which is invaluable. We learned so much from every step of support we received and feel confident in carrying on this routine and schedule that has almost instantly changed the way our 9 month old is sleeping. From fighting naps, due to being overtired, and not sleeping through the night without being in bed with us, and an inability to self-soothe, to sleeping 12 hours overnight uninterrupted in a few days, with two successful and rejuvenating naps! Honestly, I still can't believe it! The whole day's schedule has completely changed all of this for us and we so desperately needed the guidance. Reading various methods and trying to weigh which one might work for us was very overwhelming, but the difference maker with Sleepably is they are providing guidance based on your unique child, in our case, which is what most methods are missing.....the uniqueness of each child's needs! Every mama that would like to sleep again MUST USE SLEEPABLY! I cannot thank Sara enough for giving me and my baby the gift of SLEEP once again. I was super excited for this training And must admit that I was initially very uncertain how my 2.5 month would do seeing as shes NEVER fallen asleep out if our arms, the wrap, or the swing. She's soooooo high strung and fights sleep and screams for so long just to get to sleep. She was waking every hour and a half to two hours sometimes hungry sometimes not sometimes because her pacifier fell out or because she wanted to sleep in our bed. Sara worked out a unique and personal plan and schedule for us to follow to get her to fall asleep on her own and to wake less frequently. We followed Sara's plan and the "hush pat" method she outlined for us and the very first nap she FELL ASLEEP doing exactly what Sara said. I cried tears of joy. By the fifth day my baby was only waking once a night to feed and would immediately go back to sleep in her own crib in her her own room! I'm shocked and I'm awe. I thought she'd scream the whole time I but she just comfortably laid there as I helped her learn how to fell asleep. I loved that I still got to comfort her and be there for her as she adjusted. After 9 years of struggling with our child's sleep (he's 9 yrs old) my husband and I decided to reach out to Sleepably for help. Our sweet boy found bed time to be a real struggle - saying he's not tired, he's scared, he needs us to sit with him, bad dreams, etc, not to mention nightly visits into our room that resulted with him in our bed...EVERY NIGHT because we were so worn out. Rebecca at Sleepably has literally changed our lives. Our sweet boy has confidence I never knew he was missing or needing in himself. I don't know where I'd be without Sara's help! She was absolutely instrumental in supporting me and my husband while we guided our kids in becoming independent sleepers. And we ourselves required a fair bit of guidance during this process, too! Sara was just a phone call or a text away any time of day or night to offer encouragement, support, feedback, and perspective. Now my kids each fall asleep in their own beds and stay in bed all night. It's been life changing for all of us! Sara's approach was gentle and kind, calm and reassuring. I had the opportunity to work with Seth from Sleepably for over two months. I didn't have that much trouble sleeping, but was hoping that with better sleep, my energy and mental clarity would improve. I can't tell you enough how grateful and happy I am to have chosen Sleepably for training our 5 months old girl. She was sleeping up to 2 hours at night and napping for less than 35 minutes. She would usually take up to an hour fall asleep and needed lots of rocking to fall asleep. My husband and I were so exhausted and sleep deprived. Sara saved us!.
