My husband & I planned to hire a nanny for our son who would be a little over 5 months old when my…read morehusband's paternity leave ended through ABC Nannies. We ended up not using their services because thousands of years of biology caught up to me & I realized I wanted to quit my job to raise him & any future children instead. However, this company was fantastic to work with & I felt completely taken care of having never hired help for our home other then maybe a landscaper. We had 2 informative consultations with ABC & got up to the part where we received resumes of possible candidates. It can be a stressful process with all there is to navigate (finding candidates, background checks, becoming an employer, etc.) but ABC is there to guide you through it which is just what we needed. If we are ever in a position where we need a nanny or another type of household staff, I'd come to them first.

As an experienced nanny, I completed their onboarding process, which included providing references. My references shared that the process was very time-consuming, and I truly appreciated the effort they put in to support me. During this time, I was transparent that I was actively looking for my next nanny position and that finding a new role was important due to changes with my current family. After completing the process, I did not feel supported in my search. I was rarely contacted about opportunities that aligned with what I was looking for, and when I proactively reached out about positions listed on their job board, communication was often inconsistent. There were multiple occasions where I did not receive a response, could not reach someone by phone, or was told that positions still listed as open had already been filled and needed to be updated. When I needed to begin my search again after my previous nanny contract ended, I reached out once more and provided updated information, but unfortunately experienced many of the same communication challenges. While they did eventually reach out about a couple of opportunities, I never progressed to an interview or placement through ABC Nannies. Ultimately, I found my nanny position through another local agency, and the experience was completely different. They took the time to understand what I was looking for, communicated consistently, and made me feel supported and advocated for throughout the process. I understand agencies work with many families and candidates and cannot guarantee placement. However, nannies are also relying on agencies during important career transitions, and clear communication is incredibly important. After completing the steps required to join the nanny pool, I was disappointed that I did not feel supported throughout the process. I hope ABC Nannies takes feedback like this seriously and continues working toward improving communication and the overall experience for nanny candidates.

These will show clearly not only does the owner not care about child safety but that these kids are being ignored by the teachers. If a teacher was paying attention and not talking to friends on their phones most of these could have been avoided. I have a ton more issues with this school and owner. The issues include: My daughter being left with spoiled milk for extended periods during full school days on multiple occasions. Being informed that there is no standard practice to replace children's cups with fresh water during the day or to clean them routinely. Frequent minor injuries occurring on a near-weekly basis, which I believe are related to inadequate supervision. I have personally observed staff using phones during classroom hours instead of actively monitoring the children. A consistent lack of communication regarding my daughter's daily activities. Despite being told she participates in art daily, I have never received any of her work. A noticeable behavioral change in my daughter. She was previously comfortable and social; she is now fearful of returning and appears anxious around other children. When I ask about my daughter's day at drop-off or pick-up, I am often ignored or treated as though my questions are an inconvenience. Teachers playing on cellphones while watching children which leads to more incidents, lack of care, and discomfort around students The owners reply shows zero remorse and more frames it as a misunderstanding? We have had 3 kids go through Goddard, and will be sorry to see it go when our last is finished. We toured pre-schools in Denver, Lone Tree and Highlands Ranch before making our decision. Any of the Goddard Schools would have been sufficient but we were moving from Denver to South Denver and decided it was best to have the kids close. We based our decision on three factors: cleanliness of the building, educational curriculum, and attentiveness/quality of the staff. Most of the schools we visited felt more like daycares than preschool - classes were organized around play rather than balanced play/learning. Goddard was the only school that offered any sort of appreciable curriculum, and you could visibly see the transition from play to education as you moved up in classrooms. We now have three kids that can count in English, Spanish, Chinese and Vietnamese! The building is a newer building that always seems clean, and when there was a leak, the affected room was sealed off and professionally cleaned/restored by a reputable restoration company the day after the leak because the staff was concerned for the health of the kids. Some of the staff we have known for our entire time at the school, and they are personable, approachable, and fantastic with the kids. If we have had issues with any of the teachers the problem is usually addressed quickly. Couldn't recommend this place enough. It's a fantastic school.

They're so on top of everything and great communicators. We're also blessed to have Ms. Becky as our daughter's lead teacher, she is beyond thoughtful and compassionate and all of her students clearly love her, including our daughter. Our daughter is excited every day to go to school at Goddard and you can see how much fun she has with her endless smiling in her photos. You can see the variety of creative learning projects her class is constantly doing and we can see the quick progress our daughter is making; new words, learning body parts, songs, sign language, etc. Thanks for letting us rest easy knowing our girl is in great hands each week! :)
