I can't speaking highly enough of Sleep Outfitters. Yesterday I went in and purchased a new king bed and overall I had a great experience. Staff were very nice and super knowledgeable about all of the various beds. They answered every question I had and explained the differences between the mattress to me. I've been in the market for a new bed for the last couple months. Sleep outfitters was the first and only place I visited. Went in here to look for a mistress and the colors of the store were dull, the customer service rep was kind of creepy and it seemed like the kind of place you'd find bed bugs. The environment was neat and organized but it seemed like a low budget kind of store with higher priced items. They need more light and color in the place. From the sign on the storefront to the inside, it wasn't a very welcoming place. I'm not sure I'd go here to buy a mattress. They did have a Yelp check in offer though! Fantastic customer service! Recently had a bed decline in quality and called store to understand if i had any warranty options. Not only was the response a 'yes' but the sales rep could not have made it any easier. Within 10 days I had a new bed in my house with only 2 phone calls. I did not need to make a trip to the store. I did not have to provide unnecessary details or get 'screened' as to the authenticity of my quality concerns. This was my 3rd bed from here - other 2 are older and have no need to replace yet. Buyers beware!!! Do not finance through them!!! While starting the process of buying a home we financed a temperpedic bed through mattress warehouse, it ended up not working for us so we comfort exchanged it for another model. One month later we found our dream home, should be a happy ending but it's not. Instead we lost our financing for our home because of the bed, what they don't tell you when you make a purchase is that instead of opening a traditional loan Wells Fargo (who they finance through) opens you a "line of credit" in other words an invisible credit card which then when they report to the credit agencies makes it appear that you have gotten a 2800 limit(or whatever you "qualify for") credit card and in one day maxed it out. This destroys your credit score, it dropped ours 20 points and will continue to drop it every time they report until you pay off at least 60-70% of it. No it does NOT matter if you pay your bill on time every month it's still a negative on your report. We tried to return the bed due to what we view as false information but because we already made an exchange they will not allow us to do so. So now we have a "decent" bed but our entire family's heart is crushed because of the damage this has done. So thanks a lot to Mattress Warehouse and Wells Fargo for destroying everything my family has worked for for the last three years. My children will love living in an apartment for another three years while we repair the damage you have caused. read more

After visiting a couple of other mattress stores and not finding exactly what I wanted, I tried Sleep Outfitters - and I'm so glad I did! Even though I arrived at the store near its closing time, Melody was welcoming and helpful. I didn't feel rushed at all. She really took her time showing me a variety of options in my price range, and then she checked what was in stock at their outlet to try to find me the best deal possible. It was all very straightforward; she gave me the exact pricing of each option (including mattress, box spring, and taxes) and didn't pressure me to choose one over the other. In the end, I purchased a very high quality, brand name mattress that I wouldn't have thought I could afford but that was available through the outlet. Delivery of my new mattress/box spring and removal of my old mattress/box spring are included in the price. I definitely made the right choice when I didn't settle for what I found in the first stores I visited. Sleep Outfitters had the best options and I definitely recommend them. We came to Mattress Warehouse to purchase a bed for our daughter for her college apartment and thought they could just have a Mattress Warehouse in that city. They spent a bunch of time with us determining the right bed. Then we discovered that the city didn't have a franchise that could deliver to us, so we couldn't buy from them. They still went out of their way to make sure we knew what to buy, what to pay etc., even though they weren't getting any business from us right then. I purchase a mattress and it was to be delivered on a Sunday, between 9:00 am and 12:30pm. They were to call me while on route to my house. At 12:25 they called and asked if it was acceptable if they came around 2:00pm. I told them no it was not acceptable, my father has passed away the night before and I had to be at the funeral home at 2:00pm. They hung up on me. They did not call back to apologize, ask me to reschedule the delivery or say they were disconnected. So much for red carpet service. I canceled my order and it took 3 weeks to get my credit back of over $6000. No service or class at Mattress Firm. read more

I decided to be straight forward in that we had a budget, were sensitive sleepers, and probably would not be buying that day. We bought a mattress for my daughter 2 years ago from the Mattress Warehouse at eastgate. It was suppose to have memory foam but there was literally no memory foam in it when it was delivered. We complained when we first got it and they said it would eventually soft up..2 years later I went back and said it never did get better. My husband and I were recently looking for a new mattress. We went to quite a few different stores to comparison shop styles, brands, and price. We chose Sleep Outfitters in Kenwood for our purchase. They had exactly what we wanted at what we felt was a fair and comparable price The main reason we purchased there was because of the help we got from Paul W. while shopping. We explained what we were looking for and he guided us to a few great choices. He answered our many questions and pointed out things we didn't think to ask about. The customer service was so much better than every other store. Delivery was free and they took away our old set at no charge. When delivery day came, there was an online tracker that showed roughly what time they would arrive. It was nice to be able to see exactly where we were on the list and keep up with the scheduled delivery time changes throughout the day. Unfortunately, the delivery staff hit a few bumps in the road before getting to us and the estimated delivery time was pushed later than the two hour window in which they said it would be delivered. Once that happened, we received an apologetic call from the District Manager making sure that we were aware that it would be a little late. Paul was also tracking our delivery and he called as well, apologizing for the delay. Although the delivery issue was totally out of his hands and no way his fault, he offered to make it up to us and ensured that we were compensated for our lost time. We were very grateful. I will definitely go to Sleep Outfitters for my next mattress purchase. Although the delivery was later than expected, I would still highly recommend this store because of the amazing customer service we received and how well they handled the issue. read more
