in the last week…read more Went to the Wellington location to help my elderly parents purchase a mattress. We were greeted by Terri who asked my folks about how they sleep (back, side). She emphasized that comfort is key and encouraged them to lay in the position they sleep in for 5 minutes on several beds. The one my parents liked was one of the less expensive mid tier models which was ok with Terri as comfort is what a matress is about. She had a lot of patience working with my parents and didn't pressure them in any way. She arranged for delivery the next day and explained to them City Mattresses exchange policy that if they didn't like the mattress they could exchange it within 60 to 90 days. If you are looking for a mattress I strongly recommend Terri at Wellington City Mattress. Mattress shopping can be a real hassle, but this experience was a real good one.

I found out the hard way when I had to pay nearly $1700+ on deferred interest after the 2 years were up. I tried to get a copy of my signed agreement. Store would not release it. They said call the 1800 number. I did, there is no costumer service, it goes straight to the store. Will never shop here again. Store manager Lance would not help. Im stuck with the bill now

We were just scouting prices, etc for a new bedroom mattress. This was the first place we visited. My husband had seen online that this company was running a big sale. We didn't buy anything here, but learned a bit to help us in our search.

The absolute worst company. We bought 5 mattresses and spent a significant amount of money. We…read moredecided we wanted to exchange two of them because they were too hard. They told us we had to wait 30 days to return them since that is there policy of sleeping on it before you return it. After 2 nights of little sleep, I switched the mattress with another one in my house that was softer, we waited 30 days and when they came to pick them up, one of the mattresses had a feint handprint on it from when they moved it into the house, they said they can't take it back. I quickly used a dry towel and got the handprint off. The pickup person, said he had already taken a photo of it and can't take it back. It seems like there outsourced company is responsible for the cost if it has a handprint (So they say). That's all, an awful experience.

City Furniture is located in the lower level of the Ashley Furniture store at the Wellington mall…read more Ashley is a great brand but it's more traditional than I wanted. The lower level had the more modern things. I was searching for a tv console - -I didn't find what I wanted but there is a buffet that I might consider. This is mainly lower priced furniture that looks very nice.

Have had several issues after purchasing a large chair, ottoman and couch through their Wellington…read moreshowroom. In the space of about 10 months, I have had the couch replaced twice, and the ottoman once. So far, so good on the chair. I want to take a moment however, to give a shout out to their social media/customer care dept. They saw a negative post I had and reached out. They were very proactive to getting things squared away. This last replacement was the least painless. I sent an email out, spoke to Mandy on the phone, sent some picture in and they replaced the couch. Their social media dept is on the ball. I wish their furniture was built better. 3-6 months for a couch is unacceptable, and we didn't buy on the cheap. 5-stars for their customer care this time, 1-star for the quality of the product they sell.

I had an emergency need for a sleeper sofa for a rental unit and honestly hate furniture shopping…read more I called the Rooms To Go in Wellington and spoke with Darwin to confirm some basic details (dimensions, fit, and availability). I was skeptical, so I went into the store to verify and everything Darwin told me was spot on. No sales gimmicks, no pressure just real product knowledge and straight answers. I ended up buying two sleeper sofas. I also needed speed and a hassle-free delivery. Darwin gave me a delivery date and time window, confirmed it when I called, and the delivery happened exactly as scheduled. What impressed me most is that nearly two months later, I had a follow-up question and Darwin still took my call and helped immediately. That level of post-sale service is rare. If you're shopping at Rooms To Go Wellington, talk to Darwin first.

WARNING TO EXPECTING PARENTS: Do Not Purchase Nursery Furniture from Rooms To Go…read more Based on our personal experience, Rooms To Go caused one of the most stressful and disappointing situations of our entire pregnancy--something that is completely unacceptable for a company selling baby furniture. In November, we purchased the Kids Woodland Adventure Classic Nursery Set, spending nearly $3,000, trusting that Rooms To Go would provide safe, properly manufactured furniture for our first child. After waiting six weeks for delivery, we discovered that a critical crib component related to the under-crib drawer system was manufactured incorrectly and could not be installed. What followed was not a simple fix, but a months-long ordeal: * Three additional deliveries over several weeks * Each time, an entire replacement crib was delivered, forcing us to repeatedly unpack large furniture while searching for the specific replacement part * Every replacement contained the same defect--incorrectly cut parts that physically could not be installed This was not bad luck. It reflected a systemic manufacturing and quality-control failure that Rooms To Go failed to identify or correct after multiple attempts. The issue was only resolved because a delivery driver--not a technician, not quality control--used a drill to modify a crib component inside our home. As first-time parents preparing for a newborn, we were forced into an impossible choice: accept a non-factory modification to a baby crib or risk having no crib at all just weeks before delivery. Even more troubling was Rooms To Go's response afterward. We were informed that because the delivery driver modified the crib, our warranty could be voided, despite the fact that their repeated failures left us with no reasonable alternative. Only after significant pushback did they agree to keep the warranty intact. After months of stress, repeated disruptions, physical strain while heavily pregnant, and the emotional toll of not knowing whether our baby would have a safe place to sleep, Rooms To Go offered $100 in store credit. $100. After nearly $3,000 spent, multiple failed deliveries, a manufacturing defect involving infant furniture, and a situation no expecting family should ever endure, this response felt dismissive and insulting. This experience shows a serious lack of accountability, empathy, and quality control--particularly concerning for a company selling products intended for newborn safety. We are open to continued communication with Rooms To Go's customer service or corporate team and would genuinely welcome the opportunity to update this review with a positive resolution if the company chooses to address this situation in a meaningful way. At this time, however, the response we have received does not reflect the seriousness of this experience. No family preparing for their first child should be put through this level of stress due to preventable failures
