DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE BUYING!!!!!
1) BASES ARE NOT RETURNABLE (currently priced at $2,100 to raise the head, $3300-to raise the head/feet, $4200-to raise the head/feet and heat feet) $900 more to heat feet? WOW, that buys a pretty nice heating blanket. You are now stuck with $2100-$4200 in bases that won't work! P.S. try to find them on Marketplace for $250-$450, like I did. Once someone returns the mattress back, they have no use for the bases. VERY IMPORTANT: Get the ORIGINAL account number from the seller, or better yet, call Sleep Number when buying it and have it transferred into your name. It will not work without this number. (Questionable if it will work, even w/the account number!)
2) DELIVERY GUYS ARE USELESS-Had them out twice, but they couldn't figure it out. Remote doesn't work, nor APP, and they can't figure out why. Spent hours on PHONE with Cust Serv. who was very nice but couldn't get to work either. They said it would take a week to transfer the account info over to me, but it's been 2 weeks now, and still doesn't work.
3) IF YOU WANT TO RETURN IT: You have already paid $2,100-$4,200 for the bases, delivery fee ($250) and pick-up fee ($200-I think).....so you have $2,550 to $4,650 invested and NO BED???
3) DO NOT BUY UNLESS ON SALE: Their regular prices are outrageous (today's prices for the basic C2 mattress AND base are $4,098, up to the Climate Control360 on sale at $12,448! WOW again. Watch the ads, as they go on sale EVERY holiday.
Look, these are NOT as complicated as they make them seem.
Basically, it is a simple air pump for the mattress, and a simple electric motor that turns a gear, pushing the back and feet up. 2 very simple motors that can be turned on and off with a simple switch. They have added an official Application, that generally doesn't work. Then they put the electric motor on a remote (which also doesn't work). I will be returning the bed as soon as the 30 days is up, as they have made it so complicated, even THEIR TECHNICIANS don't know how they work??? WTF?
What they need to do is make every potential customer sign an acknowledgement of the return policy, BEFORE SIGNING THE CONTRACT, NOTING IN LARGE LETTERS that "the bases are NOT returnable under any circumstance", delivery and return charges are NOT refundable and remote and bedding must be unused.
Train your technicians! If not, they feel stupid and your company looks stupid AND YOU END UP WITH MORE BEDS RETURNED!
