The bed was uncomfortable and staff did not seem to care about what I had to say. The room was hot and I was not able to get comfortable. They told me I needed to sleep so the test could begin. I almost felt uncomfortable falling asleep as I was not sure how well i would be taken care of. All in all I would suggest using an actual Sleep Medicine Facility such as Unity or Sleep Insights. These places are meant for more than just sleeping and most certainly care more about their patients.

This is the DENT Tower, and if you're like me and have multiple doctors, multiple appointments, and approximately seventeen million reasons to be in a medical building... this place is basically my second home. Today I'm here for my yearly checkup with my neurologist. My doctor does my Botox injections and my trigger point injections, and actually, I'll be back here in just THREE DAYS for another appointment to get my Botox for migraines. Because apparently my head has decided it would like to be a full-time problem. ‍ One thing I really appreciate about DENT is that there are so many different services and specialists all in one building. I have doctors on multiple floors, so depending on the appointment, I'm basically riding the elevators like I work here. And yes, the building is wheelchair accessible, which is really important to me. Getting around a large medical building can be difficult enough without having to worry about whether you're actually going to be able to access the places you need to go. Now, I did bring my very important medical assistant with me today... Her name is Bambi. She is also apparently the Director of Atmospheric Changes. Because while I was trying to have a serious medical appointment... Bambi farted. Not a little toot. A FART. And the look on her face was basically, "I have no idea what you're talking about." Girl. I KNOW IT WAS YOU. So if you hear me laughing or see Bambi looking completely innocent in this video, just know there was an incident. Anyway, outside the building you'll see another part of my DENT experience, which is the Infusion Center. When my migraines won't go away and I need more aggressive treatment, I've been able to come here for migraine infusions. There are infusion services on two floors, so this is another really important part of my care. And I wanted to show this because DENT isn't just one doctor's office. It's a whole neurologic institute with different specialties and services throughout the building. And right here in between the infusion center and DENT, you'll also find a WellNow Urgent Care, which is convenient if you need urgent care while you're already in the area. So basically, this little stretch of Sheridan Drive has become one of my regular medical stops. Overall, I've had a lot of experience with DENT, and I really appreciate having access to neurologists and migraine treatment all in one place. If you're someone who deals with chronic migraines or other neurological issues, this is definitely a place you may want to look into. I had a sleep study ordered in October and I was told someone would call me which they did in March. And that was after I left multiple messages asking to schedule. A new medication prescribed on March 25th that required prior was not done until a month later and that wasn't due to Anthem BCBS or my pharmacy not advising Dent of this but because the nurse forgot. If I hadn't asked the nurse about another medication for my migraines the auth would never have been done. When I called to schedule my MRI the first available was 5 weeks out. Due to my claustrophobia I always have sedation which has been done by the nurses at Dent. When I scheduled the imaging I was told to arrive 1/2 an hour early for the sedation. Imagine my surprise when I get there to be told the sedation was actually sent to my pharmacy something the woman scheduling nor the nurse at dent told me was being done. The receptionist was unable to reschedule it because "dent doesn't train front desk on scheduling just check in and to call back to reschedule". After all of this I called early this morning and left a message for Kristen one of the managers. Instead of calling me back she had Mary Grace do it because as Mary Grace said Kristen was too busy to talk to me. I understand now I am just a paycheck for the staff at dent. With a high deductible plan I get text messages and a phone call prior to any visit about the cost for "care" and to make sure I have money in hand. I know I'm just a number to Dent but I would have hoped that they see patients as actual people and not just as dollar signs

It started off rough, not old school Disney's Dumbo rough but more like Pixar's Inside Out rough and ended with my little one and I having the sweetest nighttime moments. My heart swells with joy and pride when I think of how far we came with the help of Magda, our sleep consultant from Good Night Sleep. Here's our story: I have a 3 year old and a newborn. The 3 year old may have worn me down and we established not so healthy bedtime routines. There was a lot of stress leading up to the bedtime routine and honestly, I dreaded it. There would be tears, pleading, screaming that ultimately lead to me giving in and going in to lay with my toddler until he fell asleep. I thought it was a phase and I could deal with it but it wasn't and when the new baby came, I couldn't. That's when I reached out to Good Night Sleep and spoke to Magda. I remember feeling that I could breathe a little easier after that first call. Everything that I told Magda, she'd seen before and she was confident she could help us develop a nighttime routine that worked for our family. She did. She also helped me communicate it to my kiddo and get him excited about it. The first night.I was slightly terrified that first night but my little one surprised me and it went better than I could have dreamed. Was it easy, no. But he understood what was happening and every night after, it got better and better. Magda was also there every step of the way for two weeks to answer all my questions and adjust where needed. We've now had this new bedtime for 4 months and it's still going well. Instead of screening and crying, my night ends with hugs & kisses, and a night, night mommy...I Luv You. Our twins were born at 37 weeks so we couldn't sleep train them until they were four months adjusted and it was a very long four months. Our girl twin was of the mindset that she didn't need sleep and our boy loved his sleep. A lot of twin parents live by the wake a sleeping twin rule but I just couldn't do that to my boy. We would spend 15 - 20 minutes bouncing, rocking, swaying them to sleep for them to only sleep about 15 - 20 mins. Even when they were little they didn't nap in bouncers or swings. It was crazy and so different from our first. I was losing my mind. At night (for all intents and purposes) they were decent sleepers but they were horrible nappers. Jennie did a really good job of talking us (me) off the ledge multiple times. The process was very seamless and easy and Jennie was very responsive. I was leary of working with someone out of state but soon realized that unless they were spending the night with us it didn't really matter. She never seemed far away. She is very down to earth and made us feel very comfortable with the whole process. It is the best experience and best money we have ever spent. I recommend it to anyone suffering and have even thought about becoming a consultant myself.

I've been seeing Dr. Viviano for over 8 years for my sleep apnea appliance. The first appliance…read morethat I had lasted for 7 years! The average lifespan of these things are usually 3-5 years. Callie (office manager) is super friendly and was able to schedule me in asap when my appliance broke and was accomodating when I got to the office with 2 kids under 2 (she helped watch them for me when I saw Dr. Viviano). Dr. Viviano was originally my dentist, but he retired from that to focus on the sleep disorders. He was thorough in explaining what the new appliances are like, how to maintain it, etc. Since I've been wearing the oral appliance to treat my sleep apnea for the last 7 years, I knew exactly what to expect. When I had the moulds prepared, the technician had to do it over 5 times for my lower teeth as Dr. Viviano wanted nothing short of perfect (other doctors would probably send the first mould to the lab). The appliance came in within 2 weeks (Callie put in a rush order for me because she knew how important the sleep appliance is to me for getting a good night's sleep). There was a follow up appointment a few weeks later where I then took home a sleep monitor to track effective the new appliance is (and whether I was getting enough oxygen while I slept). A few nights later, I brought the sleep monitor back to the office, they downloaded the results and Dr. Viviano gave me the ok to continue using the appliance (no further adjustments were needed). If you're in need of a sleep apnea oral appliance, come here! Callie put together a thorough payment package for me (included doctor's notes and prescriptions, sleep test results, etc) and I had no issues with getting money back from my benefit insurance company.
