I actually brought my own sheets, blanket, and pillow because I had a feeling the place wouldn't be clean--and unfortunately I was right. I've stayed in a lot of budget hotels before, but this one was by far the worst. What made the experience even worse was being falsely accused of stealing pillows. The owner charged me $50 claiming that he saw me take pillows on the camera. That is completely untrue. I brought my own bedding with me and never took anything from the room. Being accused of theft when I specifically brought my own items because the place was dirty is unacceptable. When I called to question the charge, the owner told me he had filed a police report. I contacted the Jonesboro Police Station myself, and they told me there was no report, which means he lied about that as well. The service was awful, the room was filthy, and the whole situation was handled very poorly. I would strongly advise travelers--especially anglers passing through--not to stay at this inn. There are definitely better and more honest places to spend your money.

The beds were slightly better than average. The complimentary breakfast ran 7 days a week 6am-9am, sometimes a little longer if peeps are still eating. Basic food but streamlined in cool displays. What I didn't like: the small elevator, compared to other hotels. Also, the bathrooms didn't have the switch for "venting the stinky smells or so you can't hear what I'm doing in here." Previously I've stayed at a different hotel but it has begun a slow decline in service so I started lol,ing elsewhere. Hampton to the rescue. This hotel is conveniently located right off of the highway. The staff were exceptionally nice, polite, and professional. My room was clean and well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was decent and the food remained well stocked at all times. There was fresh coffee available at all times which was nice in the afternoon. afternoon coffee is for winners. I will be back, likely very soon. If you're in Funroe, I recommend you check out this Hampton.
