Brand new hotel less than 6 months old. Very beautiful and clean inside and out. Our check in was short and sweet. Very quiet and smooth elevator ride to our floor. Our room was amazing! Our king size bed was soft yet firm and so comfortable. Love having the choice of the 5 different pillows on the bed. Room has mini fridge, microwave, large tv and closet with ironing board and iron. The black out blind on the window was amazing for sleeping in. Bathroom was a nice size with a fantastic shower. Only thing they need is a vent fan in the bathroom. It is only a pipe which does not draw air through it. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast in the morning was pretty good. Hash browns, eggs, bacon, sausage gravy and biscuits, waffles, cereal, muffins, apple juice, orange juice, milk....and some very amazing coffee. Best coffee I have ever tasted and it was decaf! Did not get a chance to check out the pool. Will have to check it out the next time. We will be back!

I need to have something in this space, it's a typical gross hotel. It stank in here.

When we arrived, the manager tried to charge us for early check-in (20 minutes prior to normal check-in!). Then we learned we were double billed for the room, b/c my wife booked prior to me. The manager said it was "your problem," and refused to address my issue, preferring to yell at me for my bad review on Google. Don't waste your time. Sleeping in our car would have been preferable.

They had blow dryers tissues, coffee all in the room with the refrigerator that was clean. Every single thing was clean., the bed was very comfortable... the other hotels we stopped along the way on our road trip were at best OK but when we woke up and had eggs sausage potatoes, waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit toppings, a clean area to eat our breakfast gluten-free options. making one less stop on our road trip from Ohio that would cost us a fortune for breakfast was a happy surprise. it was easy check out as well. the next time we come this way the best Western in at this location in Ohio will be where we are staying...

Our room was clean and spacious. There was sufficient outlets to charge devices. Microwave and refrigerator (large one by hotel standards) present. Coffee and tea bar available 24 hours. Good hot breakfast and on this day crispy bacon which was appreciated. Nice touch having sealed cups by the water fountain near the elevator on the first floor. There is a small business center as well as fitness center. Service was friendly.

It's okay but driving there is a little confusing. You have to drive near the Bob Evans and there's…read morean access road near there. Parts of the road have potholes so you have to be cautious. The majority of people here seem to be either workers doing a job in the area or perhaps folks traveling between destinations. Room was clean with a nice sized refrigerator and there is an ice machine nearby. We stayed on the third floor. My dad was in the hospital in Mansfield and I figured Holiday Inn would be nice but I'm not sure if this location meets most Holiday Inn standards. Breakfast options in the morning are good but it seems to go in waves. At times it seemed packed with people and at other times it seemed like there were few people. I think better attention needs to be paid to the breakfast. We got there after one of the waves and the scrambled eggs were few and far between and were cold. Then after most folks left, they put fresh eggs out. That doesn't make much sense. We were there 5 nights (4 mornings) and the people serving breakfast aren't consistent, so the quality and quantity of food available really depends on who is on shift that day. There are a few options including scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, bread and bagels for toasting, cereal, yogurt and milk. However the sausage doesn't seem to good and the options are either sausage or bacon depending on what day you go down. Parking likewise seems iffy. Sometimes it is plentiful and other times it's crowded. I almost feel like there aren't enough places to park. I've seen a variety of people parked their including semi trucks, trucks with trailers etc. vehicles this parking lot isn't designed to accommodate. It doesn't seem safe at times. Additionally, this is the only Holiday Inn I know of that allows dogs. One barked several times during the night keeping folks up. Another night somebody set off the fire alarms and we had to leave our room in the early morning around two or three am. Clients here seem questionable like they'll let anybody stay here. I would not stay here again if I had to do it over. I expect a little more from IHG properties. Pluses: Room was clean and a nice sized refrigerator. Lots of options for breakfast. Negatives: Parking is iffy. Potholes on access road. Breakfast area needs more attention when items run out. No persons to check me out when it was time to go, just a sign that said place keycards here. Hotel seems poorly staffed to maximize profits. It doesn't seem like customers are really screened here. I feel the price we paid was way too much considering the negative factors. Next time I will stay in Ontario, Ohio. There are better options there. This is not like most Holiday Inns. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Negative: If you have animal allergies AVOID this place, the smell of dog dander is very overwhelming. Rooms especially the carpet needs completely remodeled, the carpet was musty and felt sticky under shoes with socks it was filthy. One of our queen beds had a used lottery ticket in between the sheets. The shower head is very low, Im 5'4" and it was barely above my head. The bathroom sink was very slow draining . You can hear TV/neighbors conversations in the rooms (kids yelling etc.) Its not the worst place to stay but at 139.00 a night, Ive stayed at much cleaner for far less. Update your property.

We were able to pay $35 and check in at 1pm, the room was clean. The pool was clean and a comfortable temperature it is a little bit old but everything worked fine and the kids had a blast. The free breakfast was great - warning it was a lot of food with dyes and sugar but I think that's the norm everywhere. They do charge $75 for any late check out - even 15 min which seems absurd considering the room was $67. If you get a room facing the harbor (indoor pool) it is very loud until 10pm if you have young kids with bedtimes I'd request a room that faces the parking lot. The train resturaunt on the top of the hill was very cute and my son Loves trains - closes at 4! The taco restaurant has a good happy hour and strong margarita.
