As soon as I saw the signs for "rest stop ahead" I literally gunned it to the exit ramp to get in here at full speed. Pulling in, there's plenty of car and truck parking, and a HUGE grass area for whatever you may need. Dog who need to run for a moment or two, picnic tables for eating, plenty of shade if you need to sit outside for a while, etc. It was actually kind of relaxing to look at for the few minutes I was there and I enjoyed my time here. The building itself is literally a men's and women's bathrooms with a very small entrance area and benches. The facilities are clean, well stocked and there's about 5 stalls in the women's bathroom. While not the biggest or baddest rest stop I've ever been too, it was a nice stop none the less. Easy on and off the expressway, clean and plenty of room in the beautiful grassy area to do what you need to do.

Perfectly fine rest area that services the westbound traffic between Columbus and Dayton on I-70…read more Yes, there's another one on the opposite side for eastbound, but that's that one and this is this one. Bathrooms were reasonably clean, completely stocked and there was no trash in the parking lot. The far end of the lot was in the shade and after I long day of exploring Columbus, a thirty minute nap worked out really well. There are separate structures for the vending machines and the bathrooms. The rest area is not staffed though I'm sure it's regularly patrolled by the state police, or at least I hope that it is. It seemed a little secluded and unattended and silent and quiet. Spooky even. There was not much going on and I didn't notice any places to eat or drink anything. Just some vending machines and some toilets and not somewhere that I would sleep for the night, and this is coming from someone that has slept on the streets of Queens one too many times. Having said that it's better than falling asleep at the wheel so I won't give it the lowest rating.

There is a small building with bathrooms and a pop machine. Everything is run down. The bathrooms are fairly clean but need renovated. The water fountain did not work at my last stop. The parking lots are full of potholes. But, plenty of parking, some trees, nice places to walk your dog, etc. If you need a quick break, this does the job.

The lobby is filled with information about nearby attractions, including the Earthworks. There are no staff to greet you, just a video recording. The restrooms are large and clean and there are assorted vending machines on the west side of the building. Outside there are several areas with picnic tables and place to walk and clean up after your dog. There are some flowers. You can learn about buckeye trees and the Eisenhower Interstate System. There is plenty of parking and on/off the highway is easy. All in all, a good stop with useful information.

It is an older Ohio rest stop but does the job and has all you need. Restrooms are older and the tile, walls, and floors looks like it could use a good rough cleaning. There is a nice spacious picnic shelter and the rest area is a perfect place if you are traveling with a pet and need a pet stop.
