I was getting tired of seeing so many decommissioned rest areas and was wondering what was going on here. well, if them are making a bunch of this then okay, long smooth entry into a spacious and well reasoned parking area with separate lots for larger and smaller vehicles and other small vehicles besides and except for coming right off the interstate this sort of almost feels like visiting the library, but with way more potties and snack machines. really hope this is a sign of things to come but I'm not holding my breath. this is ohio after all and - the late james trafficant not withstanding - I'm not convinced the locals understand the appeal of nuance, subtlety, and a bit of good natured scandal. ...but in the meanwhile life and travel are rough.

This place was more busier than the southbound location. It's a clean and modest rest area with plenty of parking spaces for cars and trucks alike. Staff here is very friendly and they always have a section open to use the restrooms while the other section is always closed for cleaning. Easy access right back to the highway to continue your way to Bowling Green and Beyond.

Not much shade so it wasn't really possible to get a nap this afternoon because of the heat. LOL This rest stop is small but clean and efficient. Gets the job done. Number 1 or number 2 and don't forget to wash your hands really well! They have push button air dryers for your hands, no paper towel. Cuts down on waste and messes in the bathroom. There is a small picnic shelter to have your lunch or snacks. Lots of walking space to stretch your legs or let your pets run and do their business. Please pick up after your pets though. It's quick off and right back on I-75 South. We only lost 12 minutes, not bad for 7 people.

They have a lovely starbucks here along with a Marco's Pizza and another place to eat as well. They have a cute dining area too! I didn't feel like waiting in the starbucks line so I looked for a vending machine and they had a few. No coffee though, just pop, water and a few other things like snacks. They also have a special trucker area just for them. Like most rest stops, commercial trucks and traffic park in a separate area. They also have a gas station on side for both cars and trucks. They have free wifi here, so if you need to sit for a few with your laptop and do stuff, you can. I assume it's in the dining area? That was not the case at Love's! We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and when it was time to check out, the cashier asked us where we're from and where we're going. He thanked us profusely for choosing Love's and reminded us to stop in again. You really don't find friendly people like that much anymore (especially those who deal with people ALL.DAY.LONG!) So, kudos to Love's for having friendly people who care about their customers :) The selection of products was what you'd expect from a large truck stop center. Prices were reasonable. Fresh grab and go items were indeed fresh and even rotated by date (FIFO, baybee.) I'll definitely stop back in next time I find myself driving through PA.

There is a small building with bathrooms and a pop machine. Everything is run down. The bathrooms are fairly clean but need renovated. The water fountain did not work at my last stop. The parking lots are full of potholes. But, plenty of parking, some trees, nice places to walk your dog, etc. If you need a quick break, this does the job.
