I abuse rest stops on a regular basis for a variety of different reasons. Today, it was to use the bathrooms and take a quick break to get off the road for a minute. This was the first one I could catch off I-75 after leaving Michigan going southbound on I-75. Why there wasn't one sooner I am not sure. I think some of it might have to do with the construction on I-75 through Toledo, or maybe this is just the first one I saw. and trust me, I was looking because I had to stop!
Having been to Ohio a million times before, I've been to a few of their rest stops in my day. Some are bigger and better then others, but they never disappoint. This specific location was pretty easy and convenient and a pretty traditional stop in regards to no frills. Basically bathrooms, vending machines, maps and picnic tables from what I saw in the time I was there.
They obviously have separate truck and car parking which is convenient, and it was pretty easy to get in and out of. and let me tell you, the bathrooms were in fabulous condition here. CLEAN, well stocked, in good working order. Plenty of stalls with lots of room to move around.
Thank you Ohio for keeping it classy at your rest stops. Not the fanciest one I've been to in the Buckeye state, but most certainly the cleanest! read more
