Stayed here during the holidays. Pleasantly surprised at the renovations and overly accommodating staff. Upon check in the staff gifted us with an ornament for our Christmas tree! Such a nice pleasantly!

The room was super clean and the beds were very cozy - bathrooms were stocked with Neutrogena products including make up wipes so that was helpful for me!

Having said that there are two other hotels that I have stayed in that were good and the staff were friendly but they just are not as good as this hotel. This Holiday Inn Express is the gold standard for the brand. The staff obviously take great pride in the hotel and it shows from the top down. Everyone is friendly, helpful and courteous. The rooms are nicely sized, super clean (this is coming from a clean freak) and quiet. They have a appropriately sized work out facility and indoor pool. After a good and quiets nights sleep here you will wake up to a complimentary paper and breakfast in their dinning area. The housekeeping staff take their jobs seriously and I ever so appreciate it. These rooms are clean and the linens appear pressed and tucked to perfection. (A side note to my fellow vets, I'm pretty sure you could bounce a quarter off these beds no problem!) Your room comes complete with good sized mini fridge, microwave and the other standard room appliances. I make mention of the large mini fridge and microwave because these items are becoming less and less available in hotels and they are a luxury if you are staying more then a night OR are traveling with children. These refrigerators are not the tiny ones that hold a drink or two, they are a good size with a freezer section on top. On three of my visits here I have had the opportunity to visit with Angel and during my last I met Erin. They are both super helpful, professional yet friendly. I have enjoyed every visit here and it is great to come back year after year and see familiar faces.

Whenever we had a need, the staff was quick to meet our requests for towels, k-cups, etc. Each employee was friendly and kind. Each morning featured a full continental breakfast, featuring biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, cinnamon rolls, and other breakfast staples. One drawback we encountered was not really the fault of the hotel. A large group belonging to a girls softball team, chose to make the hotel their personal part headquarters. The noise they generated was disruptive, and they were rude to management when they were asked to control themselves. As I was checking out, I do appreciate the hotel manager informing the leader of the group that their business would no longer be welcome. Thank you, Holiday Inn Express, Tiffin for addressing the concerns of your patrons.

What sets this winery apart is its location--it's one of the few places in the area where you can sip wine while enjoying close proximity to the water. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the outdoor seating offered beautiful views that made our tasting even more enjoyable. Whether you're a casual wine drinker or a seasoned connoisseur, the setting alone is worth the visit. We had the opportunity to sample a wide variety of wines during our visit, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The tasting was well-organized, and the staff were both knowledgeable and friendly, making great recommendations based on our preferences. We were particularly impressed with the Pinot Grigio, which had a crisp, refreshing taste perfect for a warm afternoon by the water. However, it was the Cabernet that truly stood out for us. It had a rich, full-bodied flavor with just the right amount of complexity--a balance of boldness and smoothness that left us both savoring each sip. The Cabernet was so exceptional that we knew we couldn't leave without bringing some home. We ended up purchasing two bottles, and I have no doubt that we'll be reminiscing about our time at the winery as we enjoy them in the future. It's not often you come across a red that makes such a lasting impression, but this one definitely did. If you're in the Port Clinton area, I highly recommend visiting this winery. It offers more than just great wines--it provides an experience. Between the friendly staff, the well-curated wine selection, and the beautiful location near the water, it's a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some truly memorable wines. We'll definitely be returning!

It's perfectly located right off 75 and surrounded by EVERYTHING food wise which is great for someone traveling in like myself. The hotel is VERY clean. I inspect and clean every hotel room I'm in before I do anything else and I was very impressed...no dust, no dirt, no hair on the bed/toilet, everything was up to par. The bed was wasn't the best I've slept in but it was fine. The TV had a good lineup of channels, the room has a fridge and microwave, coffee, nice size desk for work and an AWESOME shower. It was surprising quiet as well. You could here when the neighbors shut their door and the occasional bang from upstairs but it was perfectly quiet otherwise. This hotel offers free breakfast (which I did not get a chance to try) AND their own happy hour that's called the kick back (free food and drinks..including beer and wine) in the afternoon. Ive never seen a hotel with free alcohol that wasn't in Las Vegas. Free popcorn in the lobby. They have an indoor and outdoor pool, patio area and gym. I'm so happy my boss booked this hotel for me. I don't know if all the Drury Inns are like this but I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in this area.

The hotel of proclaimed "limitless romance" sits awkward and unassumingly on a back road between commercial businesses. The rooms are lined buildings like windowless townhouses, almost eerie until we found our room number and pulled into our personal garage. I had been waiting months for this visit because, as expected in the Midwest, hotel rooms with personal pools can be a hot commodity so I booked WAY in advance. For a price tag of over five hundred dollars, the Grand Royal Pool Suite gave us every amenity I could've imagined; soaking tub, two person shower, plush robes, electric fire place, soft king bed, sauna and what we really drove all that way there for, our own personal, private swimming pool. During our stay at Belamere Suites we found indulgence, comfort and, as advertised, limitless romance.

The hotel is tucked away in the middle of an industrial park surrounded by semi trucks, which immediately ruined any romantic atmosphere we were hoping for. To make things even stranger, there were pieces of childlike artwork oddly placed on the outside of the buildings--nothing about it felt romantic or inviting. Inside the room, things didn't improve much. While it was clean, the rose petals placed on the bed were fake, which felt cheap and undermined the "luxury" experience they advertise. The fireplace clicked nonstop whenever we tried to use it, making it impossible to relax. The worst part of the stay was the noise. Our neighbor spent the entire evening screaming at a football game. I called the front desk to complain about the noise, and the only solution they offered was to "drive the golf cart around." The yelling stopped for about 30 minutes and then started right back up. At that point, any romantic vibe I was trying to create for our anniversary was completely gone. We were so aggravated--especially considering the extravagant price tag--that it was clear we weren't going to sleep or enjoy ourselves. We ultimately decided to leave at midnight and just go home. When I called to request some sort of reimbursement, I was offered 50% off a future stay. I honestly found that laughable--I wouldn't return even at $100 a night. This was a memorable anniversary for all the wrong reasons, and I cannot recommend Belamere Suites based on our experience.
