Walked in the room , pillows in the floor , no pillow cases , tv not working , tryed to call front desk , phone doesn't work , talked with guy at front desk ! Would not recommend!! Breakfast is supposed to start at 6am i waited until 6:20am and it still wasn't out, the person that started putting it out looked like they were on drugs. Went to use the hot tub 2 days in a row and it was as cold as the pool. Only half of the tv remote works. Blankets were stained yellow and had dirt marks on it. There was a random shoe on the floor when i walked in my room. The only good thing was that they allow dogs but they dont clean the room after a dog was in there, my couch was covered in dog hair. Couldnt open my window because the screen is broken. Also stayed over a week and not once did anyone come by to clean or anything. read more

We stayed in a pet room on the 1st floor. Our room had a terrible odor. Musty, wet dog, dirty room smell. The carpet was torn in the entrance way. I've stayed in 5 star hotels, that accepted dogs, that charged less and the rooms were immaculate. For $75 exra a night for a pet, that hotel should be ashamed that the rooms stink and have torn carpets. That hotel was the only one in the area that accepted pets or we definitely would have stayed some place else. The beds were comfortable enough. The bathroom was clean. The TV, kept going in and out of service. The yappy dog across the hall, kept my dog wound up and constantly barking/whining. The stall was friendly. read more

I have stayed at this location a dozen times in the 3 years. However, this last stay was much worse than before. Before this last stay, I would give this place 3.5 if that was an option. However, we checked in and it was a smooth process. Breakfast is from 6-9:30. Went down a bit before 8am. No coffee, no batter for waffles and no eggs and sausage links. The worst no coffee since that should be 24/7. My friend and I decided no more bookings here. Very sad read more

This place was trash. Cockroaches in the bathroom, nightstands, dresser, and inside the mini fridge. Walls were dirty, smoke detector was missing, table missing, vomit on outside of bath tub, and floors were black. The provided towels had black smears on them and one had a cockroach on it. When I asked to speak to the manager, she stated that she would contact us to refund us for one night. Never heard from her. This place should be avoided. read more

This is by far the worst hotel I've ever been to. We got here around night and were ready to settle down, take a shower and get on the road next morning. I decided to sleep on a couch, and it looked horrible. The only comforting thing was a Kirby plush I brought, and my blanket. The TV was somehow greasy, like someone smothered their hands on it, and its border looked like it was most of the actual TV. The final thing that hit the nail in the coffin was the shower. Not only did this look more like a highschool shower than one you'd find at a hotel, you had to close the door while in to even see the entrance. The floor was disgusting, looking once again like a highschool shower. Enough where I had to where shoes while in it. I put on the water for not even a minute and chickened out. This was disgusting and made me want to throw up. As a conclusion, unless our specific room ended up being the worst one, don't go here ever. read more

I am giving this one star because the staff was very friendly. From the moment I arrived the front desk employee was welcoming. Once I checked in to my room, I was gagging from the weird smell, almost like a wet dog. Then my son noticed the curtain had rips in it and we were concerned about being woken up with the light. In addition, the toilet was not secure to the floor, refrigerator made noise all night, the garbage overflowing outside brought mice and the location is near an industrial park so it's noisy. The only compliment I can give is that the person helping with the breakfast was also nice . The breakfast was standard hotel breakfast and I have had better choices. read more

I travel a lot to the Scranton area and didnt have a choice due to the holiday to stay here with my pet. Very dark driving into the parking lot. In a skechy area and little lighting didnt help. I got in very late so i was tired. Upon entry into my room, I was overwhelmed with this nauseating room freshner t h at was absolutely unbearable but I could tell it was masking the issue with moisture, mold or mildew. It was awful. But i didnt have a choice as they were pretty full and i had a pet. The next morning they had a nice breakfast except the woman who was running the breakfast was absolutely miserable. She didnt like the idea that i had showed up 15 minutes before breakfast was over even though there were still people at the tables. She remembered me every day and was as mean as the 1st day. I actually had to tell her to leave me alone. She would stand over me while i toasted my bagel or poured juice with her hand on her hip not saying anything. Bizarre. The room itself was dirty. Not the bed. But the carpet is just gross. It needs to be wet vacuumed. The fun continues. I stayed 5 days and didnt want housekeeping for a few reasons. I was afraid they spray more, i didnt trust the people I saw walking around and I was gone all day so didnt need it. However, i was rushing one morning and didnt have time to put all of my things back in place like my jewelry. Nothing too expensive so i took a picture of the way it was situated and when i left told the housekeeping guy who was cleanung the next room that i did not need housekeeping. He said, ok. Sure enough when i got back that evening, the jewelry was absolutel disturbed and gone through. I immediately went to the front desk and the man on duty was like a walking zombie. No help whatsoever. I asked him if they had a "no housekeeping needed" tags to put on the door like every hotel and it took him about 10 minutes to find a sleep in tag which i usex the next day. The fun part...leaving the next morning for the day with my dog, I pass by one of the rooms getting cleaned by the housekeeping guy and his very odd coworker with headphones on and the smell of weed (pot) was overwhelming. Ugh, really? The same trash that was on the ground outside in tha parking spaces was there the entire stay. The best part of my stay was the man who was managing the breakfast on Sunday. Where the whole week I dreaded having to deal with the nasty woman, this guy was a ray of sunlight. He was actually working, asking customers how they were and not standing over you with a hand on the hip like a friggin Nazi. He is the best thing this hotel has going for it. I qas disgusted otherwise. This is my inly review ever for a hotel but I felt compelled, it was that bad read more

Infested with cockroaches- both human and the 6-legged variety. Appears to be serving as a de facto homeless shelter. The people in the room next to me kept me up all night with meth-fueled noise. I was greeted by mice in the trash can outside. Not a big deal, it's outdoors. But there were enough that I saw a guy sitting on the bench smoking and stomping...I just thought he was another one of the derelicts inhabiting the place and gave him a wide berth. Then I saw the mice running and knew what he was stomping for. After a night of being privy to the above-mentioned meth shenanigans, I left for work, only to return to my room to be greeted by a cockroach running up the wall. Thankfully it's 10 degrees outside and I am checking out tomorrow. Also, I kept all of my stuff in my suitcase, which is being placed in my car tonight to hopefully freeze any roach eggs. Avoid this dump. It doesn't look that crappy when you first check in, but it is... read more

We booked a room for one night thru Hotels.com. We selected Sleep Inn because it purports to be pet friendly. At check in, they charged an additional $35, saying this charge was "in the small print." Room was FILTHY. Pet hair all around carpet at room doorway, floor in room looked like had not been swept in weeks. Dust bunnies in corners, dirt and stuff all over the floor. Bathroom floor had bits of tp and pet slobber marks on floor (not swept or mopped). Handprints on mirror, hair and dirt marks on bedspread. Went to front desk, "no other room available" and no one available to clean. So attendant gave us a small 6" broom and dust pan with promise to come by with fresh linens. We swept up the stuff in a pile (see photo). When he came by, he said they had no more bedspreads so he gave us an un-covered quilt. Would not refund anything. Terrible. Not recommended. read more

I love this place from the time I checked in on Friday 8/2 Peter is still here since I was late year they are doing a lot of renovations to the Inn. I hope they have the pool up and operating. The beautiful people who make sure our continental breakfast from eggs sausage to oatmeal cereal juice yogurt is up to par and fresh they even do waffles they are so attentive to the customers. Ismael is such a engaging humble maintenance worker we enjoyed talking to him so respectful. Housing keeping is always accommodating and acknowledging when I don't want to be disturbed. I hope the owner of this establishment honors his employees and give them a raise without their service his established would not still be here . I have been supervisor for many agencies and always kept my team happy and motivated to stay and that's the way a business owner should be. And from time to time throw an incentive to the regular customer who always chooses his Inn. I enjoyed my stay here always have. Everything's is close driving distance. Well until next time. They also have ATM. Microwave and fridge in the room. They have a computer area where you can look up anything your heart desires. I love the staff here they are so hardworking hope the owner will read more

If it's a good nights sleep your looking for, this is NOT the place for you. The walls are paper thin. You can hear the people fart in the middle of the night in the next room. Customer service was EXCELLENT! After a long day of travel, Kira greeted me with a smile (and a room!), helped find some good local dinner, and explained everything very knowledgeably. If Kira was my employee I'd be proud to know how she's looking after the consumer, it doesn't happen very often, esp after Covid. Room was clean. Maintenance needs to look at the air conditioner(it's falling apart). Also the bathroom door should be left open, a faint smell. Bed was clean and comfortable. Rates are reasonable as well. read more

Very disappointed. I booked the hotel for the hot tub. It was out of service doesn't look like they are in a hurry to fix it.

10/10 recommend! This place was so clean, the lobby and the rooms! Got a flat tire at 1am so very last minute decision but they took us right away. We were looking for a dog friendly hotel for the weekend and Sleep Inn was the best choice for this area. $300 for a 2 night weekend stay. Pet fee is $15 per pet, per night. Hotel is very clean, friendly staff, and a very convenient location just off the highway. Continental breakfast included bagels, toast, eggs & sausage and a waffle maker. When we arrived back at the hotel on our first night, our fire alarm was chirping. I went to the front desk and the maintenance man was back at our door within 5 minutes. Kudos to him for being so responsive! A local wedding had their guests staying at this hotel and they shuttled their guests to and from the wedding. I would definitely recommend this hotel for wedding guests. read more

I am not sure how this hotel has 4 stars on here. It is "meh" at best. The first room we got was a "non-smoking" room but smelled HORRIBLE. The second was better, but still had a lingering odor of something. When we arrived there was a very strange acting man walking through the lobby. The guy at the front desk informed us that he was "insane". While I wonder why an "insane" person was walking around alone, it is very disrespectful for staff to refer to their own guests in that way. Overall it wasn't terrible. But definitely not 5 stars. Probably 2. I'm rating with one to try and correct the imbalance. read more

We ended up here because our big truck broke down. 5 days later, we are still stuck here. And today, to top it all off, is my birthday. Management made me homemade chocolate chip cookies, and brought me a card. I can honestly say, out of all the hotels I have stayed out in the past, this is my second favorite. And the only reason I say second is because I spent 15 weeks at a hotel due to work, and they were like family when I left. The staff is incredible. They are happy, and genuinely happy to see us. The pool is the perfect temperature. The rooms are clean, and the bed is so comfy. The water in the shower stays hot, and has constant pressure. The shuttle driver who picked us up offered to stop at a store for us knowing we were without a way around. The hotel has been very busy, and the parking lot indicates it is close to full, and not a peep do we hear when we are in our room. I am super fussy about temperature, and I had full control of it. There is a fridge and a microwave in the room. The TV reads my external hard drive, so no shortage of movies. The wifi has no problems when I play World of Warcraft. The pet fee is VERY reasonable. And there are plenty of dogs around... Honestly, I have a hard time finding anything wrong that is of any importance. I could try, but it isn't possible without really digging hard. If I ever come back to this area and I need a hotel.. I can guarantee I will stopping here!!!!!!!! read more

Absolutely horrible. Ended up Driving around central PA at midnight tired and needing a place to sleep EVEN THOUGH THEY HAD A ROOM. Three of us (my wife, son and I)were traveling to see colleges and we were bringing our dog. When traveling with a dog, it's important to be real clear with reservations etc., because if they screw up, it's hard to find a place. So, My wife called (rather than online reservations) to validate a 2 bed room and that they took dogs. The very pleasant person on the phone, Nicole, confirmed and we booked the room. THEN my wife noticed they had smoking rooms, so she called back to confirm that our room was NOT SMOKING. Nicole, pleasantly confirmed again that we had a 2 bed, non-smoking room that allowed dogs. After traveling for hours and arriving at almost midnight, when checking in, the Front Desk person, Mia, checked us into a smoking room that allowed pets. My wife said we reserved a non-smoking room. . She said, we don't have any more rooms with 2 queen beds that allows pets.. (If you note below, the smoking rooms others have mentioned are disgusting if you are not a smoker). They had other rooms available but not ones that would take dogs, 2 beds and non-smoking. My wife, noticed that she had just given the lady in front of us "our room". Mia said, Yep, but there was nothing she could do. The others were still in the lobby and it seemed they wouldn't have minded getting a "non dog" room... But Mia said..."Can't do it, I already took their credit card". We asked why she gave away our room. She said "our computer record did not state we needed a dog room. Either this was a bold face lie, OR the person who took our reservation lied, and I doubt that because when we called once to confirm, they had the information. My wife asked to speak to a manager. Mia offered the managers number. When my wife called the number, The phone rang in the lobby... Mia said, yea, that is the number here...After another round with this very unpleasant Mia, we realized she was not going to give us any way to contact anyone in management. She had an attitude that was hard to describe but the opposite of what you would expect from customer service. Anyway, after us getting frustrated and her horrible attitude she offered a room with 1 bed (for the 3 of us). At the end with we finally said OK and I tossed my credit card on the counter. She then said, "I feel hostility from y'all so I am not going to give you ANY room." So, here we are, midnight in the middle of Pennsylvania, sent off to sleep in our car even though they had rooms. We ended up driving over an hour, very tired from driving all day because we had no choice because this person decided to "punish" us for being upset about them giving away our room. I don't know if this is a company issue, a training issue OR a personnel issue, but If we had gotten in a car wreck driving around PA or worse, been robbed while sleeping in the car, this would have been much worse. In all fairness, we got a call from a very pleasant gentleman the next morning who was in complete Damage Control. He asked us what they could do to make it up. We said there was nothing. read more

The first time my room was booked for my friend's wedding, I never received a confirmation. When we called to confirm a month before the wedding, apparently we were never put in the system and therefore had to schedule it again The second time, there were no non-smoking rooms left, so we were forced to be put in a smoking room! Though they did give us a non-smoking the first night, the second night the space was unbearable. Even with spray that the front desk gave us, the room made me nauseous. I had to sleep in my car because it was unbearable after having the window open and fan on all day. I was truly irate with the irresponsible management of this hotel. The continental breakfast was alright, but the hotel was unorganized. Almost everyone I spoke to at this wedding had numerous problems with the hotel. There was supposed to be a shuttle that would take us from the reception to the hotel. The reception ended at 10. The hotel refused to send more than one shuttle after 10. They stated they would only run from 8:30-10! (Who is going to leave a reception early????) Only 10 people approx. fit in the shuttle, so that left everyone else to fend for themselves with taxi's and Uber. They refused to hand out goody bags to the rooms for the wedding that were booked and would not provide the info for us to do it ourselves. They also did not book us in a block which was promised according to the bride and groom. DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL FOR ANY FORMAL EVENT. read more

Great front end staff and a comfy stay. We stay here often because of this. They even have an indoor pool and free breakfast! Good job guys.

This hotel is misnamed. The walls are thin. Normal TV noise is transmitted from one room to the next. First time a very eager couple kept me awake all night with their bed banging against my wall and with their enthusiastic guttural noises. The second time it was just the TV, but still it was from 2 to 4:30 in the morning. In the morning maids were gabbing outside my door wanting to clean my room before I was even awake. For $90 I'd say this is a rip off and like I said wrongly named hotel. read more

Facility advertises and proclaims to be non smoking hotel. Both on WWW and their own website. Upon checking large sign at front desk proclaims "We are a 100% non smoking facility. Went directly to front desk to complain and clerks response was "We have no way or targeting which rooms guests are smoking in": I invited him to come up to the floor with me and I would indicate precisely which rooms. I waited for him to arrive he never did, I then watched a guest exit their room with a lit cigarette and proceed down back staircase. Obviously the smoke detectors in the rooms and hallways are disabled or non function otherwise the profuse smoke would have triggered them. Place has steadily gone down hill. Used to be a good family place bit last 2 stays were horrible.
