    Bought a foam adjustable 10 months ago. Split in half. Company refused warranty claim based on a superficial coffee stain. Go elsewhere.

    I bought a pillow from sleepcountry.ca about 2 months ago. I had researched several pillows and…read moremade my decision based on the 4.5 star rating and multiple reviews claiming it was supper supportive. It wasn't. I didn't like it. It was extremely soft and compressed to less than 20% the original size. Sleep country won't let me return it. They also deleted it from my account so I can't review it. When I contacted the chat help they said I would have to submit my review to customer service via email. Despite the auto response email saying they take customer concerns very seriously and respond to every one within 2 business days they never gotten back to me. They have however posted several new rave reviews of the pillow I bought. Curious how everything on their site has 4.5 star ratings and above. I guess a strict no returns policy and censoring reviews is good for business. I then posted a negative review on Facebook and then they go back to me. They said that they couldn't post the negative review because they thought that the pillow might be defective and that I should bring it too a store to have it inspected. They also said that I could get a gift card for 50% of the value of the pillow if I wanted it. I replied that I would a month ago and still haven't heard back from them.

We didn't end up purchasing a mattress protector here, as we found a similar one online for much cheaper but otherwise the guy who helped us was straight forward and very helpful. We can't wait for our new mattress to get delivered to our new house (for free!).

The issue i have is with the delivery team. When they first delivered the mattresses, they banged and marked up walls in my house that were freshly painted (i.e. the painter was there and actually took pictures and sent them to me - he told the delivery guys that they smucked the walls and their response was to laugh and say no we didn't). Dealing with the store, they said they would credit me for the damages. he issue then was I should have ordered low profile box springs for 2 of the beds (a king size and a queen size bed). So it was no problem to exchange these. The issue again was the delivery team. Because I live 6 min from the store (just outside of St. Albert) i had to have a different delivery team and unfortunately the two that came to exchange the box springs were the same two that banged up my walls the first time. The problem is the beds were set up from when they originally delivered the beds and box springs. Due to Covid you have to have the box spring that you want exchanged bagged up. As a female, it is almost impossible for me to move a king size box spring into a bag - so the delivery team, refused to pick up the original box springs and deliver the new box springs because of this. I now have to reschedule a delivery, and because of where I live, it takes longer than if I lived in St. Albert and again, I will have to deal with the two guys who I'm sure will do anything to make life harder for me because I complained about them the first time. I honestly don't know if I would order anything from the Brick again if i have to deal with this delivery team. And short of hiring someone to bag the box springs for me, i think I will be stuck with a bed that is basically counter height and impossible to get into without a step stool - and its not just me who feels this way, friends and family laugh when they see how tall both beds are and because of this issue, I have been unable to move back into my house as I don't have a bed that I can sleep on. Again, the only reason for the low rating is the delivery team and the crazy guideline that you have to personally bag your "old" box spring (and this one is new and has only been touched by the delivery team themselves.....

I said if I would get additional refund I did not want to go into the store for another time since I did not have faith that your staff would know what to do. They told me it's on my account and when I asked twice how much it would be they did not answer. The responses were very short and curt without a salutation or a name of a person responding. They told me I had to go into the store. I finally had enough and decided to email Dave Freeman, CEO, as it's not difficult to find who is the CEO of an organization and what their email address is. Within an hour or so of me sending that email I received two emails from the leadership team. One indicated that she could process my refund without having to go in the store and she actually told me how much I would be getting back. It took a few days but she made it happen. The other one I spoke with about my experience and he indicated that it was a new manager who would ensure there would be proper training of the policies for their staff. I've heard that before about a new manager and hopefully whoever the manager is he will properly train the staff. I was also told that if I wanted to shop again in the store or any of my family and friends that I would be taken care of. I have no doubt this would be the case with now having the phone numbers and email addresses of the leadership team. It's very unfortunate that I had to experience this and email the CEO to get someone to take action quickly and responsibility for this mess. They should be embarrassed that the wording of the policy is not only confusing for customers but none of their staff know how to interpret it!

One bed frame broke, and another set has drawer issues. I contacted warranty, and to their credit, they came out quickly in September. I was told parts were ordered and it would take about 90 days. Almost a month later, I received a call stating that the bed I own has been discontinued, and instead of replacing it, they offered me $117 for the bed. I questioned how a company can sell a warranty on a product they can't properly replace or honor. Since then, I have called numerous times asking to speak with a manager, and oddly, there is never a manager available. I was told today that Raya would call me back still no call. I also followed up on my son's dresser parts, which are well over the 90-day timeline. I was told the parts actually arrived on January 14, meaning they've had them for two weeks with no call or follow-up. When I pointed this out, I explained calmly why I'm frustrated because this entire process has been one delay after another. I purchased full warranty coverage for peace of mind, and instead I've had to chase updates, wait months, and get inconsistent information. I bought complete bedroom sets for my children -- not individual pieces, and I expect the warranty I paid for to be honored properly. At this point, the lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable. That was one thing that the brick pleads on tha you lay more for warranty so you get better service this is not the case if I could give 0 stars I would
