She helped me with choosing table styles and colors also made sure we were getting the best deal that we could before ordering the table. She would even text me instead of having to go in all time for any questions we both had, that made things so much easier with having three kids. The day I did go in to select colors she was so good with the kids and let them sit on the beds which kept them busy and happy! I will recommend her to anyone and La-Z-Boy seems like a great place to shop with amazing quality furniture.

On September 1st I walked into the store with $1000 and ordered three pieces, a couch and two chairs. I was told the furniture would take 6-8 weeks to arrive. I expected the furniture to arrive well before Christmas. When the furniture did not arrive by Christmas I started calling the store and visiting the store on a regular basis, I always talked to the sales person who took my order, her name was Christine. Every time I got a different excuse and most of the time she didn't know why the furniture was late. At NO time did she EVER call me or email me to keep me updated. Had she taken the time to call or email, I might not have been so mad. Once they got my money I was ignored. The furniture finally arrived February 25th - 6 months after I ordered it. When the truck arrived at our house, we were not at home so they took the furniture back to the store. I had called Christine and told her specifically to call my husbands cell phone when the truck was on its way so someone could be there, she did not do that and our furniture went back to the store. The second time the truck arrived, my husband was at home and the truck driver refused to unload the furniture unless we paid the remaining balance owed. That was not our original deal, we had signed up for the 12 payment plan at the store with a $1000 down payment. My husband was on the phone with the store for 30 minutes until they finally convinced the truck driver to unload our furniture. The customer service I received was so unbelievably bad that if there was a zero rating, that's what they would get. Christine eventually told me that our order had been LOST at the factory and she had to re-order the furniture which is why it took so long. I'll never buy anything from Lazy Boy, and my advice to other people is BUYER BEWARE.

The place is packed with different sleep options and the staff is very knowledgable and helpful. They are a great option to the box store style bedroom shops you find so plentiful these days. I drove here from Edmonton as this was the closest place to pick up a water bed heater and they had them in stock. Disclosure : it was not for my waterbed but my freind has had the same waterbed for over 30 years, maybe there is something to that concept!

And some big name designer brands, which of course is important to those who are looking for that sort of thing. I was looking for specific items, and not only did I get what I wanted, but I got the advice needed for anything else that came up each time I went in there. And most recently, I had a question about a bulb (not a cheap one) on a fixture that kept having to be replaced. Without me saying anything about a lack of satisfaction, seeing as I knew it was nothing they did wrong, they replaced the bulb free of charge. That is going over and above the call of duty in my eyes. They also suggested a good troubleshooting strategy. Can't wait to get more reno's done!

Specifically, today. Five star service today. I went in to pick up a vacuum. Nothing ridiculous, as I only have one room that is officially carpeted (other than area rugs). Found what I was looking for, but the item would require a ladder to get to it. Three ladies came to help (maybe I smelled good today? lol). The model I was looking at was not in stock and would no longer be stocked, so they offered the floor model at 20% off. I know, "but Robot, they e-mail you 20% off coupons every other month don't they?" Pretty much, but I forgot to print it off this time around. Well, as it turned out, the thing was broken anyway (determined while trying to remove it from the display). I opted for the model up from it. Up one of them went, and fetched it (yes, they're supposed to, but three of them made it seem like I was not leaving the store disappointed). Anyway, I get to the checkout and go to pay for it. I ended up STILL getting the 20% off, which pretty closely matched the price of the one I was looking at anyway! I go there for my towels, wine glasses, pillows (and other bedding), and random kitchen items. You probably won't find a better wine glass collection in town, that I know of - hey, prove me wrong. :P
