I gave them five shots... FIVE. I didn't want to update my review until everything was fixed and I was satisfied with the hundreds of dollars and time that I spent here. I appreciate the complimentary detail, but after the first job they did I think it was necessary. I noticed the edges of my front windshield air tint peeling and let them know a few times. I first asked if they would look at it and see if it should be replaced. They automatically agreed to have it fixed. I took my car in for the second detail and to have the windshield fixed, but only one of two services was done. Not the tint ;) Also, that happened a couple times. I'd let them know what I needed, they'd say okay and set my appointment, but they still would only do half the job. Since everything wasn't fixed the fourth time I went, I decided I wasn't even going to bother. With going back or with updating my review, but since they reached out again and asked about my windshield that's when I set my fifth appointment with them(I'm a fool for this, really). My appointment was set for a Sunday(my day off work) and at 9AM. When I arrived no one was on sight.. they were running a few minutes late. Alright, cool it happens. The guy who applied the tint showed up(he basically never wears a mask) and confirmed my appointment and what was needed then sent me on my way. They told me it would be a few hours since they needed to remove and reapply the tint so no reason for me stay and hangout. About five minutes after I leave I get a call from them saying they don't see where the tint is peeling. I let the girl know that it's the top left(drivers side) and that I can EASILY just stick my nail under so there's no way it's NOT peeling... my friend who was with me also checked out the tint before we dropped off my car and he said it was peeling too. Once I made it very clear that it's peeling(she kept telling me she couldn't see it) she said okay and they would let me know when my car was done. Around 11:30 AM I get a message that my car is ready. I head on over and she lets me know that her manager told her that they can't replace my tint... why agree multiple times to fix it and waste my time when you're not going to do it?? She let me know that they applied more heat and used a squeegee to stick the tint lmao Whatever. I get in my car and take a look, it's exactly the same except they sliced some of the peeling tint off. I guess you saw where it is peeling after all. read more

I just got an an usual activity on my credit card. I was here last Thursday and they said it would take 2-3 hours for the car to be ready for cleaning the interior. I did the Interior detail which he said would cost $149. I was there a little after 3PM and it was done until around 6:30-6:45PM. It took longer because the owner got a call from another person and needed some things done on her car even though I was there first. So instead of 2 guys working on detailing my car, it ended up with just 1 person and the job took longer because of that. They did the back, but the never finished the front. The worst part is, when I was told it was done and ready, I pulled down the back center console and it was filthy like it was not touched. They did a good job when 2 guys were working on it. But then when another client arrived, they put aside my car to accommodate her. After I asked the center console was not clean, they attempted to clean in for 2 minutes and it was acceptable. He then told me if I was paying with a credit card or cash. I told him credit card and he told me that he can't charge me credit card today but will charge it tomorrow. I said okay, he took down my information and asked for my zip code and that was it. The next day I looked at my credit card and there no charge. But there was a suspicious charge of $356.76 from Agoda.com extended stay. I didn't purchase anything from that website or went to a place that was with Agoda.com. Today, 4/11/2022, Monday, I had a surprising email and text message from Chase.com at 9:27PM PST saying I purchased something at Target.com $880.99. I clicked on no, I did not place that purchase and they declined the transaction. Now I have to get a new credit card because of this headache. I have to call back and find out about agoda.com because I didn't make that purchase as well. I gave my credit card number to them on April 7, 2022 at around 6:30-6:45PM PST. Will never come back to this place again. Waiting room has crappy wifi, and it was close to 100 degrees inside the waiting room. No AC or the Ac was not turned on while I waited for my car for over 3 hours. read more

I wanted to update my review. Sleek did use good tint and it helped my car stay cool. However, they did not align the tint to the edges properly. They made excuses that it's cut out that way not their fault and it's applied properly when I pointed it out. They offered to correct it. When I went in, they said they were out of my tint to come back later and they would call me when to come in. That later has never come. On the front windows it's not properly aligned. My buddy paid more from a different shop and got his windows aligned to the edge. I guess you pay what you get bc these guys were significantly cheaper. Which is why I'm giving them 3 stars in the update and not 1 or 2 stars. They also lose a point for telling me to come back, being out of stock supposedly of my tint, and not calling me back ever. read more

I've inquired to about 20+ places for window tinting and ceramic coating for my car. Richard has been the most professional and detailed with his responses. He responds fast and he continued to answer the follow up questions I had after I picked up my car. All the staff are also helpful. I left my car on a Monday and picked it up Wednesday. Catherine sent me pictures and updates for 2 days which I greatly appreciated. I had to return for my front windshield clear tint because they noticed a small imperfection with the one they initially installed. They couldn't replace it right away because they ran out of the tint I wanted. It is a minor inconvenience but I really appreciate their orientation to detail and how they make sure the customers get what they paid for. Upon closer inspection I noticed all the flaws. First off my door rubber felts are damaged. They are now creased beyond repair which make the windows screech. The cuts are not straight. He applied the tint to the business window first to cut out and in turn there's tons of debris and dust and dirt in between the tint and window. It also sounds like the tint is peeling off and is making a screeching sound every time I roll up my windows. I had been looking for an auto detailing place that could just give my car the interior attention it needed. A little backstory: I spilled Costco chicken noodle soup all over my trunk in December, so I Googled how to get rid of the chicken soup smell in my car, and to my surprise I found that using an enzymatic cleaner would do the trick (I guess spilling chicken soup in your trunk is a common occurrence). Well, the enzymatic cleaner for sure got rid of the smell, but the stains remained, and to top it off, my trunk had acquired a new, nauseating baby powder, mixed with cooped up leftover chicken noodle soup smell. I even went the extra mile to use refrigerator baking soda packs to try to diffuse the smell. It didn't work. Thankfully, I found Sleek, loved the reviews...so I decided to give this business a chance. 5 stars doesn't do this place justice. Not only did they get rid of the stains and the smell, they made my already clean car look brand new! Their attention to detail is fantastic...every inch of my car's interior was given time and love. On top of that, their owner, Richard, and Dalia were so nice. I literally changed my appointment 4-5 times due to my crazy schedule (also due to personal error), and they still took my car in For the work they did on my car, you can't beat their price. TLDR: Do not get your window tints done here as the attention to detail is not there. I requested a quote for ceramic tint for my front two windows, and after messaging a few shops, Sleek's owner Richard N. answered with $80. Everywhere else charged $130, so I came in. To my surprise, Richard was not there; instead, a tech and a cashier helped me and told me the quoted price of $80 is for regular tint and that ceramic would be $130. That should have already been a red flag for me, but I didn't let it bother me and let them tint my windows since I was there. After it was done, and I was about to pay with a credit card, they said there was an additional fee for using the card. Another red flag: it's prohibited with any merchant accounts to charge extra for using a card as they can be terminated for it. I use cash which was my fault because now I can't chargeback the service. After a week, I notice significant bubbles shown in the images on both windows and brought them to their attention via yelp. "Sleek's owner," whom I know is not the one responding to customers, lets me know to come in and get it redone. When I come in the 2nd time, I'm dealing with the same tech and let him know my concerns. After about 2 hours of him redoing it, I still find imperfections, and he has to do it yet again, so I'm at the shop 3 hours before I finally decide it's okay and that they can't do any better. The excuse I'm given is that it's being done by hand. I'm not sure what kind of excuse that is, but it's not worth fighting over. I give it about a week before I roll my windows down and notice a significant gap on the edge of the window, as shown in the pictures. At this point, I want a refund and to move on. I wasn't going to leave this review; However, after I yelp the "owner" about a refund, he first asks what's wrong with the tint. I tell him about the gap and show the images, and he tells me that I had a chance to inspect it before leaving but didn't say anything. How am I suppose to inspect the edges when I was told not to roll my windows down for a week? On top of that, aren't they supposed to be professionals and inspect their work? Then he tells me the gap is supposed to be there, which is another lie. I show him what my rear tints edges look like, so they are just playing me for a fool. His final offer was to redo it again - the problem they don't understand is that the attention to detail is not there, and I am not confident in their work. The customer service is terrible; they bait you in with fake prices and are processing cards against merchant agreement charging customers to use their credit cards. I highly recommend staying away from the business. 1st Response to the owner (see image): Free service? What you fail to understand is that I don't want your service. I asked for a refund, and you denied me. I have nothing to hide and posted the entire conversation for everyone to read. You denied me a refund 3 times before you conceded. First, you tell me it's my job to inspect it, then you tell me the gaps are supposed to be there, and you tell me you'll repair it (even though you just told me it is supposed to be there) and remind me that you don't offer refunds. It was only until the end when I brought up the yelp review that you offered a refund, but why would I even trust your shop with my car at this point? You let this drag out for $130? I'm the one having to pay another shop money to get rid of your work and get it done correctly. I'm making sure future customers know the quality of work and prohibited use charging 10% for the use of credit cards. The fact is that you can't even address your quality of work and the lack thereof, the blatant lie about pricing to get customers in, and you want to refuse a refund until your back is up against the wall, as I told you in PM. If "small mom & pops" run a business like this, they don't deserve to be open - good luck. 2nd response: Regardless of what you use for the film, the film was changed 3 times, which I waited 4 hours for and I'm supposed to wait even longer? I attached the image where you stated $80 for the quote, but when I got to your shop, it changed to $130. I did not say your shop didn't fix the bubble issues, and it goes beyond that. I also did not say in the messages that you charge a 10% fee. My review states that when I got to your shop, I was about to pay with a credit card, and your cashier told me there is a (10%) for that. You have another yelp review stating the same thing, but I see you didn't question her. That is the only reason I paid cash, and I literally ran around the block looking for an exact change because your cashier couldn't break the $100 bill. Please believe it's not about the money, and I will always pay a premium for exceptional service, but it was not shown with your shop. At this point, the damage is done, and I'm not comfortable or interested in your shop working on my car further; as I stated in PM, good luck. (max limit). read more

Following my review which I gave. This is an update. I brought two of my cars here and ended up getting refunds for both my tints which I wasn't satisfied with. I literally came in 6 different times for a simple tint job which didn't come out right . They charged me $30 bucks to remove their tint to remove their mistake on my windshield which they left minor scratches. By far the best prices in the area (by almost 50% sometimes) and they use quality 3M materials. Brought in my Lexus LC500 for a full detail, paint correction, and ceramic coating and their attention to perfection is so good that they were willing to re-buff my hood because it was only 99% good. They also took great care of my 4-stage candy red paint and didn't put too much pressure on it. Lastly, they are very approachable and were communicative the entire time. They even gave me a good deal on cermaic coat for my motorcycle and threw in the helmet for free for doing business with them! Cannot complain one bit. I've been getting my cars tinted for years. Over the last 12 years I have had about 9 different cars tinted so I have a bit of experience. I just recently got a 2020 BMW M5 and the shop that I used for my last few cars has since closed so I needed a new place. After searching Yelp in my area I found Sleek. They had all 5 Stars and pics of exotics so i figured this would be a great place. Their pricing is fair and consistent with what you would find at other higher end shops, they were able to fit me in same week and they got the job done on time which I always appreciate. Upon picking up my vehicle I immediately noticed that my car was completely filthy inside and out with water stains from the tint job. I was surprised that a place that has tinted so many exotics would leave any car like this, especially one that was 4 days removed from the showroom floor, but at a glance the tint looked great and I understand stuff happens, so I was willing to overlook it. I know it takes a while for the tint to cure so any imperfections will likely go away with some time. After two weeks I called back because I noticed some bubbles in my tint in a few different areas. The owner was eager to make sure everything got fixed so we scheduled an appointment. I showed up at the appointment which I had scheduled my entire day around only to find another vehicle getting worked on and the tech that was there not even aware that I was on the schedule. He had a look at my tint and assured me that the bubbles still needed to cure, and that they wouldn't be able to service my car at the appointed time. I figured I would give it yet more time giving them the benefit of the doubt. Its now been about 3 weeks and counting since my tint job and its clear that the bubbles are there to stay. Obviously my experience seems to be out of the norm compared to the rest of the reviews. So my experience is probably an outlier and I am sure all their work is normally flawless. Typically I would recognize that and not even want to leave a negative review but considering I gave them a chance to fix it and my time ended up just being wasted, i just wouldn't feel comfortable bringing it back here nor would I feel confident that the job would turn out as I would expect. read more

They were honest about what tint percentage would look best. Two guys ended up working on my car so the entire process took about an hour and a half. They warned me not to roll down my windows for at least 3 days so as to not ruin the drying process of the tint. So far it's been about a week since getting it done and I have no complaints. I don't understand how this place is in business. The owner had me come in for a 9am appointment for a full detail for my SUV. I dropped off my suv at 845am. I called a couple times and he didn't answer the phone, which is his cell phone. I took a $43 uber to come get my to pickup my car up at 4pm. They had barely touched my car. I spoke with the owner and he said the car is almost done while I'm looking at it and it's not even close. The person working on the car said not to believe him and recommended I just take my car. Overall had a decent experience and I'm happy with my car. Only reason I could not give 5 stars was the inconsistency on the time frame and my scheduled appointment did not help me any to get it done. Was referred here by my roommate for tinting on my new car. I spoke with Richard the owner over messaging here in the Yelp App and he was extremely helpful and kind. He answered all my questions, gave me recommendations and estimates, and scheduled my appointment. Great customer service! When I got in for my 10am appointment, I was about 15 min early. There was a car in the shop that they were working on in which the lady (I think her name is Kailani?) at the front desk should be completed in within the next 20 min. Kailani went through all the paperwork with me and helped me to pick which level of tinting to go with. She was extremely helpful. I was offered water and invited to wait for my car to get started. Almost an hour after my appointment time, my car had still not been started. I was confused as Kailani was sure the other car would be done soon. When I asked again, she assured me another 15 min. Then she checked with the gentlemen working on the car, they said they had at least another 45 min. When I asked how it would be once they started my car, everyone had different answers ranging from 50 min to 3 hours. I was mostly confused as everyone had a different idea on how long it would take. I had a lot of things to do that day so I had wished they were upfront on the amount of time needed as I waited about an hour with my car not having been touched. I ended up leaving to get some things done, and was notified about 2 hours later That my car was done. Again I was overall happy with the car and the shade of tinting. A week later I'm still seeing a couple water streaks/bubbles, but Kailani assured me l could call them and they would fix it. read more
