Meet the Business Owner: Rina B.
Rina Barak joined SLEA Therapies in 2012 as a Speech Language Pathologist after earning her M.A. in Communication Disorders from Montclair State University. Passionate about individualized care and collaboration, she worked closely with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to support each child’s growth. Rina became Director of the Speech Therapy program in 2015, where she led clinicians across clinic, school, and virtual settings while building a strong culture of teamwork and quality care. In 2021, she was promoted to CEO of SLEA Therapies, overseeing all programs including Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Behavior Intervention, Educational Therapy, and Child Development. As CEO, Rina is committed to fostering an inclusive, employee-owned culture rooted in communication, accountability, and the belief that every team member plays a vital role in helping clients succeed.
