I have been wanting to come here for MONTHS after hearing about it from a friend. We ordered the Clobster Grilled Cheese (because so many people mentioned loving it in their reviews), the Ultimate Fish Taco, and the Lobster Taquitos. My favorite thing I tried was the bite I had of my husband's fish taco. He isn't big on seafood and we read that it was a favorite for others who aren't fans either. He did like it and said it was really filling. I am really sad with how bland the Clobster and Taquitos were. We both felt like the only real flavor coming from the Clobster was the buttered bread. The menu describes it as a "MELTING MIX OF LOBSTER, CRAB AND A CREAMY HERB SAUCE." But it was dry and only one corner of it was kind of creamy (I think it was from a bit of cheese). Maybe the creamy herb sauce was left off? The taquitos were also lacking seasoning and I think they were fried too long because we mostly tasted oil and the shell was harder than you would expect. The fries were very average. Overall, I'm sad I was so hyped about it. I'm not sure I would go back just for the taco. read more

Love the food here! The only problem I have with this place is that it takes a while to get your food. But other then that it's a great place to eat with a lot of different options! One of my favorites is the clobster grilled cheese, it's a lobster and crab grilled cheese sandwich that just tastes amazing! First time going, bought. The dagwood, cup of chowder, and the lobster roll. Came out to be $40+ which the lobster roll cost the most being the dagwood and chowder was only 13. Got home to find the smallest $20+ item I've ever seen. Will not go back for the price! read more

We went Saturday night pretty busy, small sitting area but plenty of staff. Lobster grinder excellent, clam chowder really good lots of bacon on top could be a meal onto itself. Fries have a seasoning on them pretty good. Wish they served alcohol. read more

This new hot spot is delicious!! We came on a Tuesday night around 7:30 and there was just about 4 people ahead of us. It gave us enough time to look through the menu since this was our first time trying slapfish! We tried the infamous traditional lobster roll and instead of regular fries we asked for chowder fries for an additional $3. If you love seafood or lobster this is the place to be- only if you're willing to pay a good price for it. The lobster roll was $25 with the chowder fries it came out to $28. We also tried the fish burrito and this was amazing! Not too heavy and I love the guacamole. I used the hot habanero sauce that went along with it so well if you like an extra kick! The fish burrito came with a small side of salsa and chips that was pretty good- your average- I believe Cajun powder was sprinkled over the chips. The gal putting in our order was very helpful with her recommendation and explaining the different options I couldn't decide between. We found a table easily and the gentlemen that brought our food was very pleasant he even got me a to-go box since I never finish all of my food. Shrimp was really good, I also got the fish and chips I liked the fish pretty good but I got one piece of fish that was just really bad I had to spit it out gross . I've been to Slapfish once in Newport Beach and now several times in Lehi. It's consistently good. Atmosphere is nice. Usually busy, but I go slightly off-peak hours so I can always get a table. Prices are good. However, watch out for the market price on the lobster roll, dilute it with some crab and you'll save 10 bucks. I've had the fish and chips and the bowl, both have been good. We also ordered the lobster breakfast burrito which was really delicious. I could have honestly went without the clobster grilled cheese but overall I highly recommend this place. This place is so busy! We walked in and the line was all the way back to the door. But they move fast. We ordered within 5 minutes and they delivered our food within 2 minutes of ordering. Impressive! Unfortunately the food was not so impressive. The Fish Burrito was huge but had little flavor. It came with a side of chips and salsa. We put the salsa on the burrito for some extra flavor which made it taste good but only because that's all you could taste. We ordered the double fish and chips which was also really big. Easily could have ordered the single and paid $3 extra to have our fries made into clam chowder fries. The breading wasn't super thick which we liked. It was kind of greasy though. Their homemade tartar sauce was ok. The chowder fries were large, but the fries became soggy with the chowder on top. Then they just tasted like mushy fries without much flavor. We would not order the fries again. Slapfish was on the expensive side for a fast casual dinner. We paid $32 for our meal. They have an interesting menu so we'll probably be back to try other stuff. read more

Everything about this place is awesome! We waited in line for about half hour but it was worth the wait. We got the lobster burger, clam chowder fries, salmon bowl and lobster crab grilled cheese. You get a good serving of lobster meat in the burger, and just a good serving of seafood meat in all our orders. The salmon bowl with 2 sides was the least favorite of the group but still delicious. The service was top notch as well. Everyone was so friendly and had smiles on their faces. Will def brag about this place.. already have thoughts of franchising out here where I live ;) read more
