Love this stuff, it is pricey but worth it! I've had the grass fed original and it was delightful.

Tried the "Carne Asada" flavored jerky...WAY TOO SALTY. Overpowered the flavor entirely.

Inside there is a line to order, as well as kiosks on the side. There are also two small tables if you want to eat inside. The bathroom is very clean, and they also have a sink by the wall to wash your hands. Service is efficient and I got my food about 15 minutes after ordering. My favorite was 100% the doubles. The basic channa double with tamarind sauce and mango chutney was so soft and perfectly sweet and tangy. The oxtail and goat curry were also good, but the channa was far superior---which says a lot since I love meat. I like the softer texture of doubles more than the thicker aloo pie and thinner/dryer roti. And considering how affordable every item is, I would definitely come back if I am around the area!

The shop is steady busy with takeout orders and the occasional folks (like me) who wanted to sit and enjoy my first doubles there. They only have two tables and chairs. Most people order to go. You may order at the kiosk and wait for your number to be called when it is ready to pick up. The kiosk is good because it easily shows all the sauces you may add to your doubles and the variety of other things like drinks, etc you may order. There is also the option to get in line and place your oder. You can watch the assembly line of workers quickly making food. Then check out with the cashier. They sell lots of different cakes, breads, nuts, and drinks too. I was a little overwhelmed on what to order, but a nice employee helped me out. I showed him what I was trying to order and asked for suggestions. Thanks to him I had the best doubles! Added tamarind sauce, mango chutney, and the benny sauce. The perfect vegetarian meal for $2.50! It is made of roti (flatbread), curried chickpeas, and topped with the sauces. Then rolled up to make a sandwich. So flavorful! I wasn't too sure which drink to get as I wasn't sure what they all tasted like. Chose the Seamoss drink, which is a mix of milk, seams, nutmeg, and some spices. Milky and not overly sweet. This was good. Maybe next time I'll get sorrel, which is hibiscus. They said the peanut drink is good too. Ordered Pholourie with tamarind sauce. These are fried savory dough balls. I couldn't resist getting a sweet treat. So, I randomly picked the salara bread, which looks like a cinnamon swirl bread slice. It is actually stuffed with shredded coconut that is colored red and tastes like cherry. Pretty good and not overly sweet. Definitely add this place to your list of eats in Queens. It is a trek from the city, but so good! Also, nice that it is a little bit away from the loud busy part of Liberty Ave in Richmond Hill. This is about a 15-20 min walk from there on Lefferts Blvd. Restroom available.

There is a rooftop bar and restaurant called AMALFI in this location. There were many reusable tote bags of different variety for sale and they were very durable. But I did not come here for the tote bags this time. I came here for the chocolates that were on sale. They were having a sale of up to 50% of on selected items. The Chocolate Pistachio Truffles by Antica Torroneria Piemontese were 32% off the original price. Each chocolate was wrapped individually and were somewhat sticky when I tried them out. The pesto chips by Tartuflanghe that Eataly carried were 35% off. It was somewhat pricy even after the discount. It was originally $10.99 and with the discount it was brought down to $7.19. The pesto chips were tempting but I decided to not get them. The Grisbi Hazelnut Cream by Vicenzi was really good when I tried them out. They were mini hazelnut cream filled pies. I also got the Oishii strawberries, which were very cute and neatly packaged in the plastic container. They were really fresh and bright red. I never had these before and it was nice to try them for the first time. The bathrooms here were very clean but very busy with a line. There were many self serve check out kiosks and cashiers in this location.

After walking around, we decided to eat at La Pizza & La Pasta. What We Ordered: - Focaccia Bianca: Focaccia + Rosemary = Count me in! I love rosemary and focaccia, so this was perfect to start the meal. I loved the Olitalia extra virgin olive oil it was served with, and definitely would order again! - Limoncello Spritz: I'm in my summer spritz era, and adored the limoncello as you usually just see Aperol. Very light, refreshing, and a great drink to sip with my meal. - Diavolo Dolce: My coworker ordered this, and I tried a little. Hot spicy honey paired with whipped ricotta was truly divine, and the other ingredients complimented as well. Ultimately, I was left with entrée envy as I wish I ordered this. - Bucatini Cacio e Pepe: Very underwhelming, and I even spent $12 to add shrimp as a protein. I'd skip this next time as there are far better Cacio e Pepe out there. - Add Shrimp ($12): This came with only 4 shrimp, which means each shrimp was $3. I was flabbergasted at the price for the portion provided. It wasn't even that great of shrimp, I'd skip next time. Our waitress wasn't very talkative, but pleasant. Another member of the wait staff dropped off food that wasn't ours, so we had to flag down the waitress to take back. Thankfully, we didn't touch our food. Our food would arrive shortly, and allowed me to take in the scenery. Eataly is remarkable in size, selection, and felt like the Disneyland of Italian cuisine and products. I'd definitely return, but likely skip the Pizza/Pasta restaurant to try another restaurant or service counter instead. Heck, even make sure I had a checked bag to return home with some goodies packed in my checked bag from Eataly. Definitely stop by if local or visiting the area!

FYI: prices do range on the high side because items here are artisan and not mass-produced...4 chocolates bars items totaled up to about $50ish...again this aren't any old chocolates and this ain't any old shop!

All of the usual suspects are here - crisps, biscuits, crumpets, and teas. I was able to find all of my childhood favorites and then some! Some of the things I wanted were out of stock or missing (Walkers variety packs, Jaffa Cakes), however that didn't put too much of a damper on the experience. I don't know why they say you can't take photos or videos in here. In 2023, I expect that anywhere and everywhere is able to be photographed just given that we all have smartphones. That, and the somewhat unfriendly staff don't make it as much fun as it could be. Overall, this place is really convenient and definitely special. I like that i can come here and just stock up on snacks and things.

I went in here to buy Tim Tams and Vegemite. The Tim Tams were $8.99/packet. I thought, 'OK,…read morethey/re the real ones from Australia, not the ones made by Arnott's especially for importing to the U.S. so that's why they're so expensive,' because on the Shi Eurasia website they show a pic of a packet that you can get in Australia, i.e. without the words "Cookies" on them. I realized when I got home that what I actually paid for was the American import ones. The same ones you can buy in Target for $5.49. The first ingredient listed is "sugar." On the Australian ones the first ingredient is "Milk chocolate (38%)". But the Vegemite was a decent price, the staff was nice, there are some good things in there that you don't see in other stores here, so I would go back, just not for Tim Tams.
