Good service and selection. Pretty typical Irish bar- just a little small but still cute!

This is a great, SMALL Irish pub. There are not many seats at all but it's just a fun place. You can people watch at one of the few seats at the window and order Irish car bombs. You can also bring your dogs inside. They have giant barrels of water for pets.

Any time we are out on the town without our little one, we make it a point to stop in at Slainte Irish Pub. It is always such a fun spot with lots of good energy. It is a little cramped, however, the bartenders are always fast with their drinks and service. They also have all your traditional Irish beverages. I have not tried their food but honestly with the positive atmosphere and great customer service I feel it would indicate that it is also pretty good.

Awesome staff, atmosphere, selection... reasonable prices and great service! Love the location and view of the nightlife - Definitely just became a repeat customer!

Small bar maybe ten stools. I counted eight taps - Bass, Harp, several more. Decent back bar with four levels of Jamison - from cheap to very expensive. Jukebox, mega touch game, two flat-screens behind the bar. Music is contemporary pop. I had a Bass which was good enough. They have bowls of snacks on the bar - only place I have seen that in Wilmington. Gal bartender was professional. Easy on the eyes. Not that I noticed.

Do not believe the news reports. Nothing to see here.

A wonderful 'dive-bar' hole in the wall on Front Street that I went to the other day; reminiscent of some of the pubs I went to when overseas in the Navy, but without the miasma of unwashed bodies that frequently is found in such places (especially in the Winter). Maria reigns supreme at the bar and I was blown away that they had Jameson on tap! LARGE selection of whiskeys and quite a few beers (including some of the usual 'bottled water' from the popular brands that people call beer in this country). I will return! (with apologies to MacArthur).

Fun Guinness sign inside the pub!

This is a drinker's bar. $5 for a 20 oz beer or a $6 Irish whiskey. Prettiest bartenders in town.

We started walking around and my wonderful wife suggested Copper Penny. Absolutely! There was a short wait for a table, but we didn't mind. The inside is almost like we remember it. We did notice the menu is a lot smaller. The last time we dined here was around ten years ago. Definitely plenty of options. We went with the onion ring appetizer, Cobb salad, and the BBQ Burger. The atmosphere of Copper Penny is the same. Definitely missed this place. After a short wait our food was brought out. Everything was delicious. This is just an update, but we still love Copper Penny and will continue to return.

Inside we a long and narrow, mostly large wooden booths and a large bar. Darker. Started with sodas, a beer, and the dragonfruit mimosa (I didn't wind up drinking/liking the flavor- but also didnt say anything as honestly know my taste better. Sharing feedback for others that it is on the sweeter side- which you may love). Buffalo chicken sandwich, sauce on side with fries. Enjoyed, typical but large sandwich. Chicken pita, enjoyed- fries on side. Philly cheesesteak with Caesar salad side- really liked. Owner is from Philly, which made a difference. Grilled chicken with side Cobb salad- lots of cheese and mushrooms and onions. Super delicious bread- soft with some flake since still crunch and not soggy. Salad was fresh and delicious. Pork sandwich- my husband liked, it was good but I didn't love the meat flavor. Concepts with having spinach and such was great. Manager/owner(?) came by to each table too. Definitely worth a trip to explore- fresh ingredients. Next time the wings...
