I cannot recommend Tyler and his team enough. I called 4 other local roofers and not only did Tyler get someone out to inspect the roof the quickest, they also provided their quote before another roofer. They then provided me with a date that they would start work and they kept that commitment. Any time there would be a change or something might arise they communicated it so we were all on the same page. The quality of the work is great. I now feel ready for monsoon season and any winter storm. They uncovered a hive of carpenter ants while they were removing the old roof (photos attached). They quickly passed this information onto me so we were able to get the ants sprayed and deploy other types of poison traps as well. After this we were able to remove the rotted and eaten pieces of wood and get things moving again. Tyler not only got the work done, he also advised us to change few little things to drastically improve aesthetics. He recommended we look into plywood that had grooves in it for our porch area to give it a plank look feel. We love it so much. Last but definitely not least, Tyler gave an accurate quote. I had peace of mind knowing the number was not going to grow by 30% or 40% over the project. Slade roofing did an outstanding job replacing our roof. They performed roof top material delivery without damaging any of the numerous trees standing in the way. They also protected plants nearer the house using tarps to prevent damage associated with falling debris. They did a complete remove/replace in a single day (despite a slight rain delay).
