Slade Roofing gave me an estimate of $21,000 to do my roof. The estimate included things like "nails" $600, manufacturer warranty $685!! I told them they weren't even close so they gave me a revised estimate of $17,500 which dropped some of the things like the manufacturers warranty(?) but also excluded things that should be included, like the drip edge! I had another roofer give me a bid of $14,000 and they were in and out in two days and did a great job. Considering Slade Roofing? I suggest you get other bids. read more

Slade Roofing did a fantastic job with my new roof. I had wind and hail damage. I live in the Wagonwheel area of Lakeside, AZ. A roofing inspector (Jacob) met with my insurance man. Within a week or so I was approved to replace the entire roof and arrangements were made to do the job (weather providing - snow season). The job was done within one day. Crew arrived at 6:30am and started tear-down. Job was completed by 1:00pm. Very efficient. Shrubery and decking were covered with tarps. Clean up was thorough. Aside from the shingles being a different color from what was decided upon, the roof looks beautiful. I only paid the insurance deductible out of pocket. We had Slade roofing out to give us a quote on a new asphalt shingle roof. We received the quote quickly and it was comparable to a second quote we had received. Jacob was quick to answer any questions and concerns, and came back out to the house a second time to bring additional roofing samples. Good contractors are hard to find, but when you find one that provides the level of customer service, attention to detail, and quality workmanship, such as I experienced with Slade Roofing, you had better save the contact number. I cannot express the amount of satisfaction I had working with Tyler as he was responsive, understanding, and had the experience needed to successfully navigate the intricacies of coordinating with my insurance company to achieve a much better-than-expected outcome. In December of 2022, I had roof shingles blow off my roof during a heavy storm. I contacted Slade Roofing and spoke with Tyler, the owner. He asked me to send pictures of the damage and after reviewing the amount of damage, recommended I place an insurance claim, which I did. After the insurance company inspector and adjuster approved our claim and allotted a fraction of the costs due to pro-rating the roof based on its age, I contacted Tyler and explained the situation. He handled the remainder of the negotiations with my insurance company from there. He provided them with the documentation to support the request for additional funds, which they approved. In the end, my entire roof was paid by my insurance company, less my deductible, and without Tyler's experience working with insurance claims, I would have been out of pocket thousands more. In addition, my home was in the process of being sold and time was of the essence. Even with the current demand placed on contractors in this busy market, Tyler took the time to expedite the coordination with our insurance company, provide my roof color options, and completed our roof in one day, and prior to our closing date.
